Best priced/quality water in the area. Cleanliness can be an issue but it's to be expected with self-serve options.

    Water 4 U - Water filling station

    Water 4 U

    (10 reviews)

I haven't had much luck with home water filters. For background, I recently bought a TDS (Total…read moreDissolved Solids) reader that measures organic and non-organic sediments found in water and discovered where I live in Lemon Grove, we have high TDS levels. My tap water reads at 384. As it turns out, the Brita I've used for years barely filters out anything (264 TDS), and the ZeroWater I bought to replace it worked great, but barely lasted two weeks before the TDS reading indicated I should replace the filter. This water store is local, affordable, and has been there for years. When I tested the water, I found it had a 001 TDS rating, which is what the Kirkland bottled water I tested also measured at. On my first visit, I went inside and purchased a new five gallon jug for $17, then the gentleman working there helped me rinse it out and fill it at the sink. It's $3 for five gallons and I paid with Venmo to avoid debit card fees. He said if the store is closed, you can use the water dispensers outside to fill your jugs. I haven't tried the outside dispensers yet and don't know if the TDS measures the same, but am so far happy with this arrangement and love the fresh, crisp tasting water.

Inside they offer Alkaline water for $1.50/gallon, regular water and a cleaning station to rinse out your jugs. The owner is nice and very helpful, interacting with his customers. I was going to lug my water outside and he encouraged me to use one of their carts to get the water to my car without throwing out my back lol

Sparkletts Water - Water from refurbished cooler

David, the delivery person, is fantastic--friendly, reliable, and always goes above and beyond by bringing the bottles inside. However, the frustration with their water coolers has pushed me to the brink. I'm now on my third water cooler, which I've been renting for years. Honestly, with the ongoing rental charges, I probably could've bought several coolers by now. Recently, I requested a replacement for my malfunctioning cooler, only to have yet another refurbished unit delivered. And as usual, it was in poor condition. White particles came out of the water, and I had to waste almost a gallon of water just to flush the system. When I reached out to request a brand new cooler, I was told none were in stock and they only had refurbished coolers. This has been a recurring issue, and I've had enough. While their water is great, their rental coolers are absolutely subpar, and their inability to resolve the issue is beyond frustrating. If you like Sparkletts water, fine--but I strongly recommend buying your own cooler elsewhere. Their rental coolers are simply not worth the hassle.

Trying to cancel your service is a nightmare. Finally got a hold of somebody and now they want to charge me $50 to pick up the water cooler. Do not I repeat do not get service through Primo water. You will be paying a monthly service and never receive water. Then all these hidden fees. I will be definitely reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. But they have turned off all their social media comments and messaging.

However, I'm very glad I did. The reason for my five-star review really comes down to one person: my delivery driver, Myles. He has completely transformed the experience and made it better than I ever expected. The level of service he provides is exceptional. Myles is incredibly proactive and thoughtful. He personally texts to check in and see how many bottles we need, keeps me updated on his delivery days, and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. It genuinely feels like a friend stopping by to deliver water rather than just another delivery service. Great customer service like this is rare, and Myles deserves a lot of credit for it. Because of him, I'm happy to continue using Culligan. Five stars all day for Myles and Culligan.

They constantly fail to deliver the water on the scheduled day. When I call customer service, they only send messages instead of actually making sure they contact the driver, who is probably just on his phone. Customer service, especially Leo, was very rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all when trying to resolve the issue and make sure we received our product. I do not recommend Culligan's service at all. They do not improve, and they clearly do not care even when customers say they are going to cancel the service. Very bad experience.

I have always loved Sparkletts Water! It tastes so good! I mean it might not be smart water or Fiji…read morebut may as well be to me, because it's delicious. I would rather drink tap water than Arrowhead any day. My love of Sparkletts also came from some great marketing as a child. Shiny scales on their trucks, a local Sparkletts spot in town, and let's not forget the awesome Sparkletts Water show at Sea World, back in the 80's? Which by the way, I would love to see again! I have Sparkletts delivered to my house. It was a bit of a fiasco trying to get the water set up through Costco, probably because I did it over the phone since I missed when they were inside the store signing people up. The phone sign up fiasco actually happened because there was some third party vendor that does it and they dropped the ball. Due to this, I'm fairly certain that I'm not evening getting it through the Costco discount. That being said, the price is still very reasonable. We used to fill our own containers and had our own cooler but the Sparkletts Water is much tastier and the delivery is SO WORTH IT. I know that they have some bad reviews but this is what you need to know. Once you get on auto billing it works quite smoothly. The bill alternates between just bottles and bottles plus the cooler rental so if you see a variance, that's probably what it is. My delivery guy is great, I believe his name is Anthony. You can hang a sign on your bottle to communicate with your delivery guy. You can ask for a certain amount of bottles or with no sign, they will leave the number that you have in empties. This all works perfectly if you communicate with your delivery guy. They also have cases of water you can purchase, as well as low calorie flavored water. Talk to your delivery person because they're your guy! Once again Anthony is my guy and he's great!

First my scheduled delivery was missed with no follow up, then it was rescheduled causing us to be left with no water. The next delivery I was given my "2 FREE" annual cases per the Costco promotion we signed over 10 years ago only to be charged for them on my next billing cycle. The delivery driver even stated they were my "gift " at no charge. It took almost 6 months and multiple calls before it ever got corrected. The next issue was they started only replacing what was on the delivery order vs the amount of gallons they picked up. After a few phone calls I found out it was a change once the merge happened. Then my next delivery had 12, 5 gallon jugs because they replaced what I set out instead of what was on the delivery order! Now here we are again 1 year later and I was left my annual free case of water, which was not in my delivery order, and come to find out I was charged for it again. This merge was the worst thing to happen to what used to be an amazing service through Costco. Costco should really consider ending this collab because the service given is not up to par with Costco standards!
