Went here for the first time last night for a friend's birthday party. I had a chance to sample several of the pizzas and a few different kinds of beer and that were all excellent. I highly recommend the pizza that comes with salami, ricotta cheese, and peppers as the toppings. Good prices too. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Horrible experience... My girlfriend and I placed a to go order. We ordered a NW Cheesesteak with no mushrooms, and mac n cheese. We don't live close by, but we were doing some shopping at the mall, so we ordered some food to take home. We got home and checked the bag, and there was no mac n cheese. The cheesesteak had mushrooms which we clearly stated to the airhead who answered the phone that we did not want. We called them immediately and the manager tried his best to resolve the issue, and refunded our money back to the card that was used. That is the only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. We tried to look past the extremely long wait time to get our order once we arrived, but messing up the order completely is unacceptable. Jamey our server was attentive and knowledgeable, not obtrusive. Beer choices were varied and well selected. Lots of drink choices. Mac and cheese w/ bacon was fantastic but the regular Mac and cheese and cheese sauce for the pretzels was bland. Pepperoni pizza had a nice crust and flavor. Decent beer selection and food but the service was not so hot. The hostess was awesome, actually, it was our server who was lackluster. She wasn't super friendly - whatever, I can get over that but I'm upset because she shorted me on giving my change back. I didn't check the math before tipping her out so I noticed after I got home. My bill was $44.94 and I paid $60 cash. She came back with $14. A server should never short a customer on change and assume a tip, even if its just a dollar. That's not acceptable. Our family had been meaning to try Watershed since it opened and finally got around to it because of a Groupon. Comfy, casual atmosphere and friendly/attentive waitstaff. Unlike other reviews, we were taken care of promptly and our food arrived fairly quickly -- and the place was packed. Lots of beer options, so husband was happy. The food was OK, but the menu was very dairy heavy. It's something I need to be careful with, so I was a little disappointed there were so few options for me. Of course I can request no cheese, but the menu items don't really lend themselves to that. So I went for it and had something cheesy anyway - the Caramelle Pancetta, as a pie fold. It was decent (crust was good). Side salad was delicious. Husband and kid were happy with their dishes. Overall, we may or may not be back as a family for dinner, as I like to use my "cheese credits" on special meals. I would go for girls' night out, though, for appetizers and drinks. read more

Friendly wait staff and decent beer selection, but that's about it. Pizza is nothing special, lacking flavor. Prize is a bit above the worth. Inside is nice open, airy atmosphere, using wood and concrete decor. Couple of TVs with sports, and good size bar area. Bartender looked like he knew how to make a good cocktail. They have a kid menu, but they stick you in the farthest back corner, isolating you from the rest of the restaurant goers. Looks like they do several events each month featuring live music, or special dinners with beer pairings. Had brunch here recently. The dishes were all pretty good but the service was super slow. The food took a long time to come up and it seemed that the bartender was waiting on the few tables that were occupied. Perhaps they were short-staffed. We've been to the Watershed a few times and have enjoyed the variety of dishes on the menu and the rotating tap. Unfortunately, 45 minutes is too long to wait for two salads. We came in for a quick post workout beer and snack and ended up sitting in the empty restaurant waiting for quite some time. I went here over two years ago and I remember the food being pretty good! however, I came here a couple weekends ago with my Fiance and had a terrible experience. It was 9pm and the kitchen was out of everything!!!! BACON, CHICKEN, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, CHEESE BREAD, TOMATO SOUP..... I was very upset by this and decided to just go with the plain mac and cheese (as there was nothing to be added since they were out of everything) and it was TERRIBLE. I went there with my family today and I think that the cheeseballs are so good and so is their service. And not to mention the pizza is so good a lot of my friends and family say that their pizza is their favorite pizza also I would highly recommend getting their Caesar salad it's one of my favorites. I've been here a few times for happy hour, dinner and brunch. I must say, I absolutely love their brunch. This is a great hidden gem. Their Bloody Mary was tasty. I also tried their shed benny and I'm pretty particular about eggs Benedict but it truly is delicious. On a different occasion, I've had their French toast which was also very good. Both times, I was kind of surprised that it wasn't very crowded on a Saturday morning. Their prices for brunch are very reasonable. I'll definitely return and this will likely be my go to brunch place when I want to grab breakfast with friends or family. read more

This place is a really fun trivia spot. My friends and I have been going for a bit now, and we keep coming back. Ali does a great job running the trivia. And you can't beat the beer selection - the bartenders even allow you have tastes of different beers without giving any side-eye. And the food is really good. There are options for everyone here, from salads and sandwiches, to pasta and pizza. I have been really into the pizza folds, as they come with a side salad. The optimus grind is good, and there are weekly specials that are delicious. I didn't think the bar was too loud, and they have an outdoor patio for nice weather. What more could you want? read more

I met my friend for lunch and decided to try their award winning grilled cheese sandwich. I took 3 bites and ended up sending it back. I am not sure what makes this sandwich award winning as it didn't have any cheese on it and it was tasteless. I showed our waitress the cheese and she said this is how it's made. I ate the cup of tomato soup, but it wasn't that good either. My friend got the same meal and wasn't impressed either. The place wasn't that busy, but it appeared they were short handed. Our waitress never came back to check in us, but eventually at the end came back to tell us that the 2 were taken off and asked if we wanted to split our check. We told her to split the check, but was confused why she asked us. I figured then she was going to charge me for the cup of soup I ate. I was so surprised when I looked at the check that she only discounted my meal 50%. When she came back I asked her about it and she said my manager feels the food had to be made and you should pay for it at least half. I couldn't believe the response. I should have asked for the manager, but I just responded that I will pay for the soup I ate and not for the sandwich I didn't eat. I came to a restaurant to eat good food not pay for something I didn't eat. It made me think that the restaurant needed to charge me something because they aren't doing so well. I really dig this new place. They have over a dozen beers on tap, and it's not the usual bud, coors, etc., that I see often. They're all solid, craft beers and reasonably priced, especially during happy hour. The food is also on point. I've tried a couple sandwiches; meatball and roast beef were both good, but the grilled cheese was my favorite. They elevated an old classic with caramelized onions, Beecher's cheese, and a phenomenal bread. Pizza is the real star here. It's kind of like a NY, thinner, foldable crust, with just the right amount of crunch. They have some great choices on the menu and I've tried several. Everything was great, but the sausage, peppers, and ricotta one was my fave (sorry, can't remember the name). They use quality ingredients and it really shows in the final product. Staff was friendly and well versed on the menu. The building is brand new and looks great. I'm stoked this place opened and can't wait to come back. read more

This is my go to spot in Northgate! It's a local family owned restaurant, which is usually hard to find at a mall/theater location. They do great food, rotating taps always with plenty of great selections, and fun events like trivia and their "convergence series" where they highlight a local brewery in connection with a charity. We really like the Watershed. It's our go-to pizza place because of proximity and because we like the style of their pizzas - big, not overloaded, and with a crust that's not too fluffy-doughy. Their Caesar salad is one of the best around because they actually make their own dressing and it's wonderfully garlicky. Among the non-pizza dishes they have, I really enjoy the spicy reuben (it IS spicy), my partner loves the piefolds, and my teenager is a fan of the mac & cheese.
