I used to live in Jacksonville and they had amazing paintings all over the city so you could always find something you liked close to you! From what I noticed, most of Tampa Bay's events are in St Pete, Clearwater, even Sarasota and only a few are actually in Tampa, and the paintings are not too appealing. Other than that, it's always a good time. She also went at a slow enough pace that everyone could follow. Appreciated that she went around the room with her painting after certain steps so we could see up close what to do next. Only complaint was that it was kind of hard to see what she was doing as she was at one end of the room and we were in the back and had to crane our necks around everyone's heads to see. I brought the hubby for our date night, who initially had that "oh, shit. really??" look as we saw the room fill up with only women-hahaha! But then more couples started coming in and he became more relaxed. He thought this was a chicks only kind of thing. But it's not! He even said afterwards that he had a lot of fun and enjoyed painting. Already looking at next month's paintings and venues to see what we should paint next!
