I completed the new patient paperwork on line beforehand. We were told to bring a check for $66.34 . Upon arrival we noticed the waiting room was dirty, the receptionists were aloof and unfriendly. They brought me another 5-6 pages of paperwork to complete for my Mom. Finally, we were brought back to a small exam room with dirty gauze on the floor. There was a dirty IV bag next to the chair I was sitting in. After the assistant squeezed the heck out of my Moms arm with her BP cuff she left the room. While waiting for the Dr. we nioticed the BP machine was left running. The cuff was inflating and deflating over and over again. unattended. The Dr came in , Natoya Reid, had taken over the practice of Dr Palumbo who retired recently. She was unprofessional and distant. She looked into my Moms mouth and stated that she would get started with the local. My Mom stated that she wanted to be put to sleep for the extraction. The Dr. left the room. The receptionist came in and said that Mom was booked for a simple extraction and that she would have to check the schedule . Next thing we know the receptionist comes in and says that they cannot start the procedure until Mom pays $500.00 up front. When asked how much Medicare covers we were told that they do not take Medicare. We never saw the Dr again. . This office does not offer any payment plans. They do not communicate well or listen well. The office is in transition and it shows. We will NOT be back. Do NOT recommend this practice to anyone with Delta Dental Insurance.

For example, she sent me to an Orthodontist about 5 years ago and the other patients were young enough to be my grand children. While I was at the dentist today for a routine cleaning, Dr Andrews asked " Are you wearing your retainers?". She was satisfied when I said yes and Dr E. Banks had adjusted them 2 months prior. I was glad she asked, showing interest. That's who she is. You can go to any old dentist if you just want your rotten teeth extracted and have a set of false choppers slapped into your mouth. But if your goal is to keep your teeth (or your children's), as long as possible, Dr Andrews is highly recommended. No, it will not be cheap. But losing teeth prematurely should be your last choice not your 1st. Keep your smile and confidence in place. Forgo a few of the shiny materialistic purchases you will not remember 5 years from now and invest in a healthier you. Keep you teeth by going to see Dr Andrews. My Experience With This Practice…read more Dr. Amir was the surgeon who performed my wisdom tooth procedure. I had all four of my wisdom teeth scheduled to be removed at this practice. I paid for all four extractions, and my insurance was also billed for all four. I also paid the required copay for each tooth. I underwent general anesthesia and went through the recovery and pain believing that all four teeth had been removed. After the procedure, I was told by Dr. Amir and the staff that the procedure had been completed. At my follow-up appointment, I was again led to believe that everything had been taken care of. Later, I visited my general dentist, who took X-rays and informed me that one of my wisdom teeth was still present and had not been removed. I returned to the practice and brought this to Dr. Amir's attention. He apologized and asked me to contact the staff regarding a resolution. After contacting the staff, I was reimbursed only the $136 copay associated with the tooth that had not been removed. What makes this even more frustrating is that because of this mishap, I now have to go through another extraction and another round of recovery, pain, and inconvenience--something I should not have had to go through if the procedure had been completed correctly the first time. My concern is that I was charged for a procedure that was not fully performed, my insurance was billed for all four teeth, and I was not informed that one tooth remained until my general dentist discovered it through X-rays. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled, particularly because I underwent general anesthesia and the risks and recovery associated with the procedure based on the understanding that all four teeth were being removed

Briefly, I had not visited the dentist in 20+ years - thankfully, that sad fact is not apparent when I smile, but I did (and do) need some work, including oral surgery. Everyone is very patient and sympathetic about your fears, but firm in their advice about the consequences of neglect. Today I received two shots of novacaine to prepare for deep scaling and planing. NO PAIN with the shots and only "pressure and noise" during the scaling. I was so happy when I left I almost asked that they go ahead and do the other side. Really, my fear of the dentist is over thanks to Dr Campbell-Leach and staff.
