Really want to thank the company for being able to get our refrigerator and freezer back into working order in a 24 hour period. During my Thanksgiving prep, my stove made an alarming Boom sound, so I was very anxious to have it assessed promptly. Wave was the only repair place I called that was responsive, and able to send a tech out within one hour on Friday. I was worried that my old stovetop would need to be replaced, but the technician efficiently assessed the stove, moved a few internal parts around, and it was fixed. So, i was thrilled! Only small point is that the initial phone quote for a service visit was $80, but I was charged $120. When I called the office to inquire, I was told that was because my ( 35 year old!) stovetop is a premium brand. Better communication is needed with clients re pricing. Otherwise, definitely recommend the company. read more

Our dryer started shaking and making loud noises that sounded like something was seriously wrong. I called Wave Appliance Repair, described the problem, sent some photos and video of the dryer. Anna scheduled an appointment right away. Chris, the service technician arrived an hour earlier than expected, which worked out perfectly, and fixed the dryer in less than 2 hours. He showed us the broken parts and provided the total cost of the repair work, which was reasonable. Even cleaned out all the lint that had accumulated in the mechanism. So this is my public apology to Chris and reckoned his services. We had the nightmare experience of having dishwasher break the night before Thanksgiving. "Panic mode.. Frantic calling around for help"... Enters Chris from WAVE. He came out that evening, looked at unit and stated problem and cost. Turns out a mouse/or rat had tore a major hole in drain line and a portion of drywall from outside. Ok...gross!!! The good and the bad...I wasn't home when Chris came out. I was updated when I got home. My brain couldn't see how a joke in the drain line would stop the dishwasher. My brain also couldn't see how it made sense to pay $260-230... on a repair ... when I could just buy a new one. ‍. Ok, here is where my apology comes in, "I WAS WRONG, CHRIS WAS RIGHT!" Turns out.. the high end dishwasher we have... wasn't broke.. the hole in drainage hose was the problem... And Chris would have handled the problem in 2 days with correct parts. It took us almost two weeks (had to order manufacturer parts) and with parts and labor practically doing ourselves.. Still cost roughly the same price. Needed a repair for an old Kenmore dryer. It was making a noise. They came promptly and on time and quickly diagnosed the problem (a worn-out bearing) after first trying one thing (just lubricating things that commonly might need lubricating), which would have been a much cheaper solution (i.e. they tried to see if they could save me unnecessary repairs). They didn't have the necessary parts on hand but were able to come back in a few days for the repair. The repair person appeared quite knowledgeable, so I ask him about what parts most commonly fail on my kind of dryer, and for a minimal extra charge he replaced also the belt (just the cost of the belt basically, since either way he had to spend the labor to replace the bearing. I waited to write my review until the 6-month warranty period had expired, which it has, and there has been no issues with the dryer in that time. I would definitely use their services again. read more

If I can do a ZERO star I would. The worst customer experience ever! We called yesterday to schedule an appointment for one of our rentals to get the refrigerator fixed. The lady with a strong accent said she will set up a appointment between 11am-1pm today. We told our tenants to stay home from work and wait for the repair man. It's passed 1pm and no call from them. We called and same lady with the strong accent answered the phone. We asked what happened to our repair man ,nobody called or showed up. She says "you do not have an appointment because no one works today". We said "that's not possible because we have here on our phone log We spoke to you at 920am and set up an appointment, so we arranged everything accordingly." Then she lies and says "because you canceled your appointment last night". And we said, "why would we do that and sit here and wait for your repair service!". She has the nerves to say "because you forgot you canceled, we are perfect, we never mess up." OMG! What kind of business lies right through their teeth and not own up to their mistakes? You ought to be ASHAMED of yourself! What a waste of time and energy. All these good reviews were so misleading. I hope and pray you go out of business for being terrible humans lying to your customers. I'm sure if we canceled an appointment, we would know, we don't need you to make up a whole story for it after the fact that you told us there was NO APPOINTMENT to begin with. By the way, you never even ask for our name so not sure how you even pulled up any information on the appointment? Just admit you messed up and move on! Don't play the blame game. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! Update: after posting this review, the woman calls back and says "the reason why we didn't show up to the appointment was because your tenants did not answer the phone." WAVE Appliance Repair was the first of the businesses to respond to my Yahoo Quote Request. Yay! Also their price for the service call was the lowest. (Though not by much.) Yay! The business owner, Chris, was able to come over later the same day to diagnose why my dishwasher did not drain. He was very polite, clean, and professional. It turns out the motor and pump went out.
