I had a cake from Wave the Grain for the first time today. It was both gluten free and dairy free, but oh so good! It's wasn't dry at all, which is a common problem with gluten free goods. I've also discovered this company supports good police officers, and they're "face friendly," which is AMAZING!! I will definitely be stopping in again soon. read more

Three strikes. I've gone in twice before and found some nice looking treats in the cases, but never simple chocolate or peanut butter cookies, which, to me, are standard bakery items. Gotta have 'em. On the second try I settled for a lesser snack, but waited a quite a while to get service- there are always people in the back baking, etc. but sometimes no one up front or if there is, service is slow. Today I went in, found chocolate chip cookies, but the service was so slow I simply left. Can only one person serve at this bakery? Hint: this never happens at Tony's. I want to help small businesses but this is painful. read more

Not a fan. The special order cake was not edible, dry and tasteless. My daughter trusted them with her wedding cake and they did not deliver the anticipated cake. They said the fondant turtles that were supposed to be the cake topper melted and very nonchalantly gave us a very basically decorated, inedible cake. read more

I found this bakery after getting suggestions on our local Facebook page. I needed a gluten free cake for a couple whose wedding was postponed due to covid. Allyson was so amazing to work with! (As was the staff) Responsive and very enthusiastic about making the cake extra special for my friends as she felt so bad for them. The cake was adorable and delicious (according to my friends). I also bought some baked goods when I was in to pick up the cake. I am not gluten free, but it didn't matter! The pastries were divine and didn't taste like anything was different than a "regular" recipe. If you're in need of baked goods with diet restrictions, I highly recommend Wave the Grain! read more

I heard about this place from yelp suggestions. I had the summer quiche which was delicious. It has a dense consistency. I also had a chocolate chip donut which was amazing! The service is friendly too. They also accommodate those with dairy allergies. We'll be back! read more

Chocolate pumpkin bread was excellent. Vanilla doughnut very good and the caramel chocolate mini cake outstanding. The chocolate croissant needs much more chocolate filling in it/ It almost tasted like it had too much egg in it for a croissant? read more

Gluten-free bakery with a coffee menu. Coffee menu was simple. Mocha and a iced coffee were good. Bakery options were numerous, looked delicious. Cinnamon streusel muffin was really really good. The breakfast burritos were pretty tasty as well, though not something I would come especially for. They also have donuts, cakes, quiche, take and bake lunch and dinner options. Some of everything. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I definitely would come here again. read more

My husband and I both stay away from gluten and dairy. This place has been such a nice find for quick, affordable breakfast options. Our two year old loves their pumpkin or banana bread. We also purchased a coffee cake for our Christmas morning and the other family members had no idea it was gluten free. I have no dietary need for gluten free, but I like to try new things, and heard this place was great. So I had their pumpkin bread and it was really great. If you have to have this diet or just like new things give it a shot you will be surprised. read more

My wife is gluten free and essentially did without tasty baked goods for years because the taste and texture in the items she could find in stores were offputting. This is no longer a problem as Wave the Grain does a remarkable job at creating delicious offerings that happen to be gluten, and often egg and dairy, free. This place is a godsend. read more
