The deli here is on a completely different level--honestly, it feels more like a high-end California gas station food mart than your typical convenience store. The food is legit. I've tried the sandwiches, chicken and rice bowls, quesadillas, and paninis, and everything has been consistently good. What really sets Wawa apart is the variety. Once you're inside, there are tons of options for sides, snacks, sweets, and drinks. And the coffee bar is a huge bonus--you can make some really solid iced coffees exactly how you like them. I was disappointed with the customer service during my visit to this Wawa gas station while on vacation in Florida. I asked the cashier, who was wearing a black face mask, how much a drink refill cost because in Texas many convenience stores charge a reduced refill price or nothing at all. Instead of answering politely, she told me to "wait," then said I had to pay the full price and laughed, which made me feel as though my question was being mocked. I picked up some WaWa branded pre-bottled lemonades for a great price- low enough to get each person their own bottle rather than purchase a large jug and pour cups, which can produce too much spillage on a road trip! Of course, I could have sprung for the freshly made juice, but this was not the day; I am glad to know this option is there though. If it was just me and not a trip, I would not have passed up the more natural option. They carried my favorite vitamin water zero, as well as Kodiak protein bars. I heard south great things about this place so I stopped in for a bite. I decided to order a scrambled egg breakfast burrito. I liked my choices and added pulled pork, provolone cheese, spinach with Chipotle sauce, salt and pepper. Then just in case it was spicy I added sour cream for 25 cents. Then I ordered a frozen Carmel coffee. Then you go over and pay at the check out and come back to wait for your number to be called. The guy calling out the numbers must have great hearing and thank everyone else in the crowded room does too because he said the number of the food that was done, not call it out. I saw that no one was reaching for a burrito that was done so I stepped up to see my number on it and picked up a very small burrito. I thought I was getting cheated for such a small burrito for $5.44. Then I stepped back and watched for my drink. I realize there were no drinks coming out when I saw someone pick up their drink from the end of the counter. I stepped over to see several drinks sitting there with numbers on them but either she was even quieter than the first guy or she wasn't calling anything out. So I found a straw and drove away. While driving down the road, I opened up my burrito and started eating. It had a good flavor, but I didn't understand why I didn't see or taste any scrambled egg. I thought maybe they sloppily put it at one end but I got through the tiny burrito and discovered there was no egg , and no sour cream anywhere. A decent sized Wawa about a mile off the interstate. It's just down from champions gate and if a nice area. They have lots of pumps and a free air tank if you wanna check your tires. They have the same clean inside you'd expect and lots of variety for merch. It's definitely out more in the rural area cause love bugs where absolutely everywhere! This was my first experience at a Wawa and let me tell you I was underwhelmed. I mobile-ordered a drink (per a recommendation from a friend) and while the actual drink was okay, the process to get the drink was nothing to write home about. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes for 3 drinks. For the longest time, there was only 1 person making the drinks and with the amount of people in the room place there was no way that was efficient. About 15-20 minutes in, we finally got the first drink (which was an iced coffee) and then saw another person helping making the orders. The other two drinks were lemonades. A few minutes later, my friend went up to the counter to ask about the drinks because she saw one of them being made but not the other one (which was on the same order). Not a warm response from the staff, but sort of understandable because of the quantity of drinks needing to be made. The number system seemed to jump around so the drinks were definitely not being made in the order they were received in. I've come here for late night snacks and when the gasoline is low but I mainly use the no surcharge ATM since my bank isn't near. The only problem I've had is about the miscommunication of breaking big bills I get out of the ATM; a few said no and a few said yes but the last time I tried...the girl went and asked her manager and said it's fine if they have enough small bills to do so! The prices are pretty reasonable for a gas station and it gets pretty busy. All the gas pump attendants are dedicated and polite; they are calm as well despite being extremely busy. We were excited for Wawa to open a location close to us - I previously had an amazing sandwich at their Kissimmee location (Turnpike area). However, the sub fell WAY short at this location, as you can tell from the photos of our meatball shorti. OMG the customer service at this location is horrible. I believe the one to blame is the manager Dan. My wife and I stopped by to get some dinner. I got a salad and she got a shorti Italian sandwich with Mac and cheese. Well the manager Dan made my salad. He then walked off to make bread. There were 2 men and a woman making the sandwiches. They were each doing a task. Well I'm assuming the girl was the one to put the toppings. Problem is that she had a customer that received her order wrong so she was try to correct it. So here are all these sandwiches just sitting out opened. At this point The line was backing up. My wife checked out at 7:50pm and she didn't receive her order until 8:14pm. The reason why I'm saying that the customer service is awful is because I was very frustrated as was about 10 others waiting for their food. I call Dan several times and he ignored me. I yelled out his name and he again ignored me. The 2 guys were not helping the girl they just kept pushing more open sandwiches for her to finish up instead of them just helping her. There was zero team work and NO Dan because he walked away. Not one acknowledged all of the waiting angry customer. Not one person said a word INCLUDING Dan the manager! Every time I got to this location the wait is horrible. They take about 20 minutes just preparing 1 sandwich! Went in this morning and I usually always go to Wawa's just never been to this one. When I go I always get the same sandwich, a tuna sandwich. This morning I went in and I ordered it. It took them alittle bit of time to even start making my sandwich. They were talking. Then I watched them quickly throw my sandwich together. I went to pay and there was only one person cashing out and there was a super long line. I was in line for like 10-15 mins. I was in a rush as it is. I payed and got into the car and my sandwich was all pushed together and over toasted. It still tasted amazing but I was still disappointed in how long the line was and how they didn't care about the appearance of my food. I only have them 2 stars because the food was good. read more

I normally love WaWa and am a loyal Gobbler fan (hoagie, hot turkey, stuffing, cranberry and gravy). My husband stopped in and noticed it was backed and picked one up for me for dinner and ordered it as is and sadly it was not what I received, Either this location does not know how to make this seasonal staple or they sadly made a change for the worse.
