I love the coffee and smiles from other customers and cashiers this morning. Stopping in to get gas, coffee, and a sweet treat. This location is so efficient and organized. Everyone is here with a purpose, so the flow to receive a sandwich or checkout is smooth. The staffing here is always adequate with no delays. It is close to the interstate on ramps and Wal-Mart, so that may be the reason they keep the lines moving. It's tidy, and someone is cleaning something everytime I come here. Nice fresh smells in the women's restroom. I appreciate the cleanliness and frequent maintenance of the restrooms. read more

Trying to get beach body ready, I opted for a salad after sitting in the parking lot, really wanting a 6-inch turkey sub. This salad was surprisingly fresh and filling mixed green salad. I selected crispy jalapeños, feta crumble, red onion, thinlysliced cucumbers, and nicely shredded carrots. My web order did not have an option to select Baby spanich and mixed greens. You can max out on toppings, which makes a great salad. Great salad great price, and I had a $ 3 off rewards discount for previous purchases. I absolutely will try another salad from Wawa. read more

I tried to buy cigarettes as a 47 yr old home health aid. I was trying to remember if he wanted 100 or 120. The woman realized I was trying to buy cigarettes for someone else. I tried to give her all my information to confirm that I pickup medication for my friend too. I am a certified home health aide and this is my job. I offered to call my friend but she told me to leave. I went to a sketchy place afterwards that sold cigarettes and was begging to be able to leave alive. All these stores in my opinion are great,they have fresh foods and also made to order as well,plus another great thing is they have free H2O,which most places either don't offer it free or will attempt to charge you for the purchase of a cup to put the water in. read more

Well what's not to love about WaWa?? I came here last night to get gas. But originally I was headed to Kroger's gas station. I had my Kroger Plus Card out ready for savings. But I looked across the street and noticed WaWa gas as at least $0.05 cheaper using the savings card. Now, I am all about saving every penny when it comes to anything and gas is definitely at the top of the list. In this case without the Kroger Plus Card I was saving $0.08 per gallon. That was enough for me to quickly circle out of Kroger's gas lane and drive across the street to WaWa. Heyyyyyy WaWa!! So I arrived with ease. The parking lot is well lit and the construction is very well. Easy going in and out of the parking lot, even though it's adjacent to the Wal-Mart parking lot. But no worries, I eased right into a gas lane with no wait in line. This store has been open for a few months and business has definitely been booming. It is in a great location in Portsmouth. The area that used to be known as "mid city" is quickly becoming the heart of the city of Portsmouth (IMO)...the area for convenient shopping. Some of this and some of that - for everyone! Stores near WaWa include: Wal-Mart, Kroger, Rally's, Auto Bell, IHOP, Chic-fil-a, ABC store etc. It's a lot over here. But gas surrounding this area, the cheapest last night could be found at the WaWa. I didn't go inside, but I did notice a line of patrons. The entire store front is glass so it's easy to peak inside from the gas pump. I'm sure the set up inside is like your normal WaWa. I guess if it wasn't they wouldn't attract so many people. But it's WaWa...WaWa rocks!!! It's like WaWa opened and a whole new group of patrons sprouted up in Portsmouth. WaWa brought the whole city out and then some!! This was my first time here, but definitely not my last. The gas ranged from $1.71, $1.99, and $2.17 (I believe). I love it!! So after you leave WaWa and want to shop in the area I am sure a store of two will interest you. And it is conveniently located off the interstate 264. Have fun :) read more

I love this wawa. The people are great and food is always on point. The one part id wish was different is that every time i walk up i get harassed by crackheads. I have seen it where there was a panhandler at every door. I like the convenience of this wawa being so close to my house but i hate the vagrants. read more

It's a Wawa, so obviously it's pretty great. Can I just copy & paste my review from previous Wawa's? It has a pretty clean setup & is well maintained & well lit. Their prices on fuel are usually near the lower end of the spectrum, but they always get beat by that 3 cent bonus discount across the way at the Kroger Marketplace pumps. Wawa makes an effort to always offer clean restrooms, unfortunately the other night all I needed was to pee & they were cleaning it at like 8pm!?! We can't get enough of Wawa - the touch screen ordering, a made-to-order sandwich on a soft hoagie roll and awesome chicken salad and toppings. This store had two things I'd never seen at any other, such as lemon bars and actual menu boards above the sandwich station. We made a special request as always, and the friendly staff at the deli not only understood exactly what we was asking for, but she wrapped our subs separately and labeled which was which. ahhh Wawa. Home of the inexpensive gas and food stop for when the bar/club closes. I enjoy this particular location because it's close to my job and also close to the bars that I frequent. I came in today for breakfast since I was early for work and was greeted by the woman at the register. The Kiosk to order the food is very easy and right to the point, I completed my order in less than 20 seconds. I don't normally get breakfast from here but I tried the sausage egg white omelet burrito. I paid for the food and came back to the window and watched as the employees worked expeditiously to complete everyone's order. The breakfast burrito was right on point and was very fulfilling. Another favorite of mine is the Oven Roasted Turkey, Bacon & Swiss paninni.. Bruhhhh! Best Panini hands down. Wawa.. I appreciate you. You're the real MVP. read more

Well run location that is easy to get in and out of. They almost always open another check out when the lone gets long. Occasionally medium aggressive panhandlers outside the door, which would be nice if they did something about. The tire air machine seems to be broken a lot too. read more
