My favorite Rocky Hill Wawa location - the red Wawa sign drew me in nightly for a late dinner.
    Brad L.

Let's see, well, Wawa, especially the Rocky Hill location, kept me well fed. I enjoyed almost everything on their menu at least once, but often more, and dined there daily. I often work in other cities and love to find places where I can get to know folks, especially places with friendly staff. Wawa did not disappoint, and for that matter, it never has. I've been a fan of Wawa for many years but living in Texas, where we don't have any, so I only get to visit when I'm on the East coast. I stayed in Princeton, NJ, for almost two months, all my work was along the New Jersey coastline, and my office was in Whippany, so I traveled right past this location every day and night. Their store was well stocked, busy due to the university being close by and just 10-minutes from my hotel. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and stocked up my hotel fridge with Wawa's branded food and drink items. If by a location, especially in Rocky hill, stop in for a great sub sandwich, coffee, flavored ice tea, smoothie, or a pretzel. It will be well worth the visit. Gas is usually cheaper at Wawa as well.

I agree with Vanni, Wawa's is so much better than 7-11 or Quickchek, too bad there aren't any Wawa's in NYC.

My Swiss mushroom burger was delicious and complemented well with the lettuce wrap - was nice crunch! Fries were well seasoned. Also, ordered a strawberry shake since this is called MOOyah.. so had to taste it. It was pretty normal tasting, nothing out of the ordinary! May not be worth the cost.

Whoever runs this place is either squeezing nickels for profit or is soon to close the doors. Only 3 people were working: One had to stop what he was doing on the line to take our order. Tables weren't cleaned, and someone got the creative idea of putting napkins under the table legs to stop them from wobbling. (Beats fixing them properly, it seems.) But the coup de gras is that the sweet potato fries only came out about 10 minutes after we got our burger, and I had to ask for the shake twice - and it was sitting right there the whole time, all finished and never delivered, right there where it was made! But clearly what is going on is that there wasn't enough staff to do the job, plain and simple. This is the result of cutting corners and "making do".

It just a table for 2 but we wanted a little more space so they immediately gave us the table for 4 so we can we comfortable. They brought out their fresh bread and couple dips. I loved the red dip and should have asked what it was. They actually brought us a few rounds of bread. Then we got be chicken bbq pieces and the kebab. Huge portion but i have to say the pieces were soo juicy. I will order that next time. Overall, i will be visiting more often since dining in is such a nice vibe. Also visited the market next door. They got nice fresh cakes that i will be back for.

The restaurant owns a Turkish supermarket next door. All of the food is delicious. Warm bread and sauces are included (the red sauce is DELICIOUS but super spicy, the white sauce is minty and tart). Get the Mucver!!!! I haven't tried other appetizers but the Mucver stole the show. It's a zucchini vegetable fried pancake. If a latke was made of zucchini. Super flavorful. Not greasy at all. The chicken Adana is my favorite. It's a ground chicken well seasoned with herbs and grilled. My husband had the mixed grill of gyro (beef), lamb, and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was delicious. Both are served with a salad and rice. Very good service.

OurBest Burger Escapade seems to have been reinstated as we wander far and wide to find the best…read more Popped into Freddys in NJ today to check them out. Freddy's puts out a decent fast food burger. Juicy fresh toppings and flavorful. Our orange cream shake went perfect with it. The facility is clean and the staff friendly. Someone even popped out to check on those dining in to make sure everyone was satisfied. A definite plus in my book. As for burgers. Freddy's earns a solid 8 out of 10

If you're not going to read to understand then this review ain't for you…read more I've been to the new Freddy's 4 times and I've waited to review it until I could figure out what was needling me. I got it. I used to pass the one in Linden and was psyched to see one finally make it down our way. Me and hus went soon after they opened and got a burger fries chicken and onion rings. During the initial days they served these matchstick potato sticks. HATED IT. Food was OK but not great. No biggie - it was new. Went back on my own to try the lemon custard one night. My acid reflux said NO MAAM so I got to enjoy it going down - and coming back up. It was good though lol. Me and hus went back a few months later - almost same order as before. Dang near $35. Mind you we coulda gone 2 miles down the road to Chilis or across the street to Shake Shack for the same price and better food. Last week I got a message that it was "national steak burger day." Lmaaoooo I love when niche restaurants and hobbyists make their own day. To celebrate, their burgers were only $1. This was actually the motivation I needed to break through the massive 4ft snow and ice mound township contractors placed at the foot of our driveway. 2 hours later I'm at Freddy's getting a double burger for $1. I finally cracked the code!! Freddys is good - it's just overpriced. And I'm saying that with love. Fast food in general is horrifically priced right now but I felt this way a year, year and a half ago about Freddy's. If the price point was $3 lower for a combo the juice would be worth the squeeze. I realize this may not be possible - please place your pitchforks down. Pros: The restaurant is always sparkling clean Friendly employees Fast and efficient pick up Food is good immediately and after a 20 minute drive home Amazing rewards - USE THE APP for savings. Verdict: the food has improved greatly since the early days. The concept is classic culinary Americana - burgers and shakes. It's just too much money for what you get. I'd go back as lit. As I can leverage my app rewards. Can't do it at full price.
