There are some terrible reviews for this place, but we went last night and I thought it was delicious. Yes, they are lacking some people skills FOR SURE. But I liked my food. The fresh chips were so good, and the onion rings were bomb (meaning very good). My burger was tasty. They got my toppings wrong and put a random tomato on it that I didn't order and forgot my bacon :( but overall it was all pretty delicious. It would be great if the people at the counter were a little more personable and helpful. They weren't mean or rude, but it would just be nice if they were more welcoming and offered help with the menu. But the food is why I wanted to try it, and I liked it. So I would go back. My tip: order the bun inside out, like a patty melt. read more

Just wow. Their burgers are excellent. I had the Oktoberfest Burger and the Rodeo burger. The beef in both were flavorful & juicy. They cook it perfectly(I always order mine Medium-Rare). The burger was exceptional! I loved the softness is the bun, the cheesiness of the cheese, the depth of flavor and spice on the beef, the grilled onions and the sauces. Wow! Greasy and delicious. Not something to eat on the regular at all. The onion rings were disappointing. Overly battered and greasy. The eatery is pretty new and you could tell they are still ironing out their systems. They were set up pretty inefficiently. It took a long time for orders. Maybe a better way to go would be to call an order in a head of time. Parking was dicey at peak lunch time sadly, but patience yielded a spot. There are tables and chairs to eat in. The counter help also deleocered food. They seemed to have a hard time juggling gloves on and off doe hygienic purposes and getting the food cooked, on the plate and served. Hopefully all that will iron out over time. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because service was fast but quick doesn't always mean better. I ordered a burger with bacon onions and cheese and my mom ordered their chicken fingers. While parked, other customers came in, placed, and received their orders. The girl was texting on her phone behind the counter. At 6:40 PM, I walked inside, gave my name and a young man behind the counter handed it to me, looking as if it had been there for some time. Three kids in car seats that had been waiting and a cold Impossible burger that was indistinguishable from Burger King with the exception of the appearance of the bun, but triple the price and the completely unnecessary aggravation! "Wayback" some weeks ago, Red and I stop in for some burgers. We both have a traditional burger. Hers with fries and mine with onion rings - which we split. Everything is simply amazing, fresh and hot. We even note the bathrooms are immaculate. Tonight we stop in and I simply have to try the cheese steak. We are both fans of Charlies Cheesesteaks, but Wayback has them beat. Charlies offers more toppings, but we simply went with grilled meat and onions, with a side order of the amazing homemade onion rings. The subs were superb with nothing but ample meat, cheese and onions. I top mine with some ketchup, while Red opts for just a little salt. Amazing taste. The homemade onion rings are light, airy and cooked to perfection. Not greasy. Afterwards, we spoke with Jose who cooked our order and pretty much makes sure the place is Spic and Span clean. He greatly appreciates our feedback and suggests the pretzel bread burger, his favorite. We can hardly wait to go back. Move back, "5 Guys". There were more kids working than the restaurant needed.... so they were doing their own thing, had friends over, weren't actually focused on the restaurant, didn't clean table...but that's typical for fast food. Food came out in 10 mins or so. The bacon was woefully undercooked so I threw it away. The burger was bland (no seasoning) and even the sauce didn't add much taste. The cheese was the wrong type but since I hadn't customized my burger, they screwed up on their own. After all of this, I really can't really complain about anything because it's $6 for a burger. Don't expect flavor, service or quality and you will be fine - that is my perspective on fast food. They are slightly better than other fast food burger joints and slightly worse than Red Robin. This was the fourth time I've been here since the store opened a month ago and each time it never fails to amaze me. I've brought my friends here, my family here, and my family's friends here and they all love it. At this point, I've probably tried every item on the menu. Today we ordered the veggie burger, the cheesesteak, the chicken BLT, the double bacon burger, the crispy chicken, the grilled chicken, and the classic burger and they were all sooo good, done to perfection with just the right amount of flavor. For any vegetarians out there, I had my mom try the veggie burger and she said it was "the best veggie burger in the world." After eating the burger, she said she normally never finishes veggie burgers but this time, she wanted two. She even ordered one for home! My parents said they'd be coming back down from New York just to have these burgers. Just went to wayback burgers for the second time with my family. I'm not sure what's up with these other reviews but my experience has been nothing but excellent. Before we get to the food, the customer service has been excellent. The staff are helpful and deliver your food to your table. For similar price as Burger King or McDonald's, the service is way better. Speaking of price, it's $6 for a double cheeseburger. The price was very reasonable. I fed 7 people for $50 which isn't bad at all. The food was delicious. I spoke to the owner by the way who is very kind and he told me that all his beef is grass fed. It's amazing how you can get grass fed burgers at this price. He also mentioned that all wayback burgers across the country recently switched to halal chicken meat because they found that the quality of the meat was better. At this particular venue, the owner said all the meat was halal including the beef. So if you're looking for halal food, this is a great place to come. I have tried the double bacon cheeseburger and buffalo chicken and both were amazing. The beef is cooked to perfection just the way I like it. And the chicken meat quality was ideal. It was juicy and flavorful. The cooks did a good job. Also my mother in law got the veggie burger since she's vegetarian. She is a very particular eater and she said that she had never finished a veggie burger in her life because they aren't that good. This is the first time she crushed her food. I decided to check this place out for lunch. It was the Monday after the Super Bowl. Ordered a cheeseburger. The meat was pretty thin (if I go back I would order two patties), but tasted ok. I love the chips with sea salt. I don't know if I would go back it didn't taste like a burger. It tasted more like fast food (if that makes any sense) some people will like it but it's just not for me. Another reason that I am scoring so low was 2 employees either called out or never showed up and one of the people that was working there kept shouting. Though they were busy with to-go orders (Uber eats and Grubhub) but still we didn't have to wait much. The employees were using hand sanitizer frequently. Ok so, I ordered thru uber eats and from the start I got the feeling it was going to be bad. I got my food, no drink. I ordered a lemonade with a strawberry hibiscus infused ice cube. I expected a few ice cubes but nope, just 1 lonely ass ice cube. I waited thirty minutes for a burger the size of White Castle. They put a glob of mayo on my cold burger with one jalapeño. You'd think if it took 30 mins to make a burger at least the fries would be done. But nope, they were soggy and saltless with shredded cheese on it that wasn't even melted. Told them to remake the fries. When the Manager came with our new fries he could tell we were frustrated and offered us free burgers in the future. Over 30 years cooking experience; loves burgers. New place. Menu is a little hard to figure out. Very unorganized operation. Many flaws in the consumer line and the food and drink set up is very confusing to consumers and the help as I observed to the point of thinking, wth? A better line setup is needed. Better pre-trained help is needed as the help was handling reading paper instructions as they were cooking and making drinks. The burger was ok. Cooked by someone who really didn't know what they were doing. Long hair hanging over the grill and prep area without regard. Didn't like the hard cheese on the fries I got, but a friend said that's how they make it. It wasn't horrible just not expected. They were out of chili for the burger and fries. My co worker ordered 2 orders of fries we only recived 1 and were also only charged for 1.
