Very disappointing experience with the UPS Store in Weston. I had two small packages delivered there and, when I went to pick them up a few days later, I was told I owed about $100 in storage fees based on a $10-per-package-per-day charge starting the day each package arrived. I had never been told about this fee, and the employee acknowledged that it is not something they advertise. The storage charge was roughly three times the value of the packages themselves, so I left without them rather than pay it. It felt as though I was being forced to pay a substantial undisclosed fee simply to retrieve my own packages. I spoke with the manager, but he would not reconsider the charges and seemed irritated that I was questioning the policy. The company that shipped the packages was shocked by what happened, said it would investigate and file a complaint, and is sending replacement packages directly to my home. I would be very cautious about doing business with this location unless you first make sure you understand what fees they may charge, including any hidden charges that are not clearly disclosed in advance. read more

I always look forward to stopping by this store when I drive through Weston. Nick is super friendly and always has a smile on his face. Not sure what the other reviewers who complained here are talking about. But this town does have some uptight and holier than though people who feel us mere peons fight to bask in their presence. Or maybe it is micro aggressions played out based on biased opinions of the staff. I frequently several ups stores and by far this is my favorite in terms of excellent staff. I have never had a worse customer experience than with Nick. He yelled at me when I had questions-- told me to shut up, said I was babbling, and that I couldn't understand English. Then he accused me of losing my receipt (which then he realized he hadn't even given me!). I mentioned wanting pack and ship on one item (which means he packs it in a box). Then he stuck a label on my item-- and accused me of not paying attention. I have no idea how this can be considered acceptable customer service. This store should feel ashamed to have hired such a person. read more

I love the helpful staff. The store is not wheelchair accessible which would normally be a problem for me, but I call them from the parking spot in front and they are always happy to come out and help me, even when it's just an Amazon return for which I don't need to pay them. Polite and friendly. read more

This store is literally an extension of my small business. Nick is a brilliant multi tasker and always give great advice on how to best handle any print or ship task. The place gets busy, but Nick and his staff know you are there and gets you on your way! Best UPS store in the area, worth driving there. read more

rude and unhelpful are the first words that come to mind. called this morning to ask about my pre paid package that was dropped off on Sat for next day air. he was rude and short and offered no help in locating the package, said there were no packages in their store so it had to be picked up. He said he was stating facts and I should file a claim. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. never returning. read more

Beware of the Weston UPS store!! Today I was mailing 3 identical simple packages. The 'nice' store person literally put one piece of tape on the bottom of the box and one on top. No filling, etc. For that "service" I was charged $37 for packing and service! That's on top of the shipping fees and the costs of the boxes. It was a "packing and service" fee. When queried about these fees, he said, "That's what it is." It turns out UPS stores are all independently owned and operated. Find a different one! The Manager of this store has a sarcastic and eye-rolling demeanor. I sat in line and watched him give every single customer a hard time for different reasons with 'duh, you should have known that' attitude. Then my turn. Rather than scanning the two PRE-PAID UPS SHIPPING LABELS from my phone and printing onto sticky's, the manager asked me to forward the two labels to the store's email address. He then printed out two black/white 8.5x11 pages and told me to tape them on. He proceeded to charge me $3 for the (2) black/white print-outs. I asked why he didn't print onto sticky labels and he said, 'those are your shipping labels, not ours'. They were very clearly UPS pre-paid shipping labels. I send packages quite often and this is now how it's ever been handled. This is a simple process. Not only was there no need to give me a hard time, but to try and extort the customer for $3 just to print out the labels is disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs unless you're simply dropping off a completely prepared package. read more

I just want to say the solo gentleman working at the store handled this absurd lady who lost her temper on him for zero reason with grace and class. he was just trying to be helpful and he handled things with such patience and professionalism. I'm a design professional in a neighboring town and I have gone to the UPS store in Weston many (MANY) times to get large drawings printed, scanned, enlarged, etc. I've also had some photographs mounted (and they were perfect). I am happy to say that I've never had anything but a positive experience at this store. Nick West is usually there, greeting me with a smile and hugely positive energy. He is so helpful and knowledgeable and efficient. He's also just a super good guy. Even when I'm in panic mode, working towards a deadline, he calms me down with a joke or two (Nick has a fantastic sense of humor) and helps me get everything done. He's no different with other customers who arrive while I'm in the store - and they all seem just as pleased as I have been. So grateful for this place and for Nick!!! read more

I had dropped a package off here at the beginning of October for a return to a merchant. When I still hadn't received a refund by the end of the October, I checked the tracking number and the UPS site said it hadn't even left this Weston office yet. When I called the store to ask about it, the man on the other end became very rude and irate with me, raising his voice and saying things like "no, you are not listening!", when I was very calmly just trying to understand how best to track the package and enter a claim. He kept trying to just blame everyone else besides his office, including me! I ended up having to end the conversation because his attitude made it impossible to try to learn from him. I am still unsure how I am supposed to move forward talking to someone rational from UPS about my lost package. It is a shame, because this site is by far the most convenient UPS for me, but I will not be returning and will definitely not subject anyone I know to this behavior either. read more

This location is awesome! I come here pretty often for returns and Nick who is usually behind the counter is knowledgeable, quick and kind.

Quick service and the staff is incredibly friendly. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. Every time I come even if there is no one immediately in the store or at the front they are aware if a customer enters and come right to the front to help me. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about but I have arrived before opening time at 8am and they come right out and open on time. Perhaps it is the town's vibe or expectations but I have always had a great experience at this location. At other locations I have not had the best experience. read more

I have tried to use this business on multiple occasions and unfortunately the service is horrible. First: I had passport photos taken. Victoria the clerk was seriously put out that I requested this advertised service. She was slow, didn't know how to use the camera, and inefficient. Worse of all, the photo she took was rejected by the passport agent for being too blurry. $12.95 down the drain. And I had to pay for another picture from another service provider. However, I decided to try the business again (thinking perhaps passport photos were outside their realm of expertise. So I went to get a number of hand drawn pictures photocopied. This time Victoria did no better and with her snarky and unhelpful attitude, I would say she did worse. She said she could only copy it by cutting off an inch of the pictures. This was obviously unsuitable. When I suggested I would take the pictures elsewhere for copying, rather than trying to manipulate the size/copying options, she just said go ahead. Third and final try: I had a ink drawing as a pdf on a thumb drive and I needed it printed on 11x14 matte paper. Lucky me, Victoria was there again. She first said I had to do it myself and pointed me at a computer. When I asked her whether the paper was 11x14 Matte paper in the machine she said for an 11x14 print, she would need to print it herself in a rude and unpleasant manner. When I said, "ok, but you just said I needed to do it myself"; she snarked at me and growled. I won't use this business again (for anything other than pre-paid package drop off) because it is obvious that Victoria not only isn't sure how to handle all aspects of her job and deliver printing and copying services, she certainly doesn't like either her job or the customers she serves. read more

Had a really bad experience here that the manager completely turned around. Sent two large boxes that were full of clothes and few kitchen items. One of the boxes was so badly damaged it had been reboxed in transit. At some point, our cast iron pot broke. We submitted a claim that ups turned down. The manager of the weston location ( Nick ) spent a week pleading our case and it was not easy. To our surprise, he got Corp ups to completed reimburse the cost of our pot and the manager agreed to reimburse the cost of shipping. Nick was amazing. Nice to know a manager is willing to fit for his customer. Truly an amazing experience. read more

I use this UPS Store as my go-to for pick up and drop off. Victoria, the manager, remembers my name and makes transactions so smooth. I can't speak highly enough of how simply I go in and out - which is important since I can be busy at times! read more
