The last two times I have come in to the Sudbury mass location... I left in a bad mood. The customer service here is lacking. The customer service rep is RUDE!. So I came in here one time and I was carrying a heavy box... Customer service person walked past me and couldn't even hold the door for me. This time I follow directions on an Amazon return but he said I did it wrong and that they are not responsible if it gets damaged. I called Amazon and they said I did it just fine and that I was protected. Not going back to this store again. Don't recommend it. By the looks of the other reviews and the rating this place has other people feel the same way. read more

I shipped my daughter her birthday present last week from the Sudbury location. When I tracked it the next day, I could see from the picture it had been delivered, unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong address. I called the store and spoke with Victor; he assured me he would take care of it and he certainly did! He called the local dispatch office in NY and had them find the package and deliver it to the correct address, all along contacting me and keeping me updated with the progress and assured me it would get delivered. he could have easily made one call and left it like that, but he stayed on top of it and kept me informed until it was delivered. My experience at this location has been negative in the past. I made the mistake of returning here today out of convenience. I was told to fully tape up my package before arriving. No other UPS locations give me this headache, then act like I'm receiving a big favor when they do accept the package. Next my cell phone screen wasn't bright enough to scan a return label. I will happily visit any other UPS store. It's just not worth it to deal with the Sudbury store. read more

I used to frequent this store for all kinds of shipping and mailing needs. I have noticed a decline in customer service but most recently they made an error on shipping an item and would not acknowledge the error or do anything to offer fix the problem. The employee at first could not even tell me where the package was and where it was going next. And UPS customer service was also not helpful, offered to have someone call from dispatch and I never received a call. If I cannot find another pack and ship provider-UPS seems to be the only game in town for this- I am going to look for a site with better customer service and accountability. read more

This was my first time using this UPS store in Sudbury and I was a bit hesitant reading so many negative reviews, but my experience yesterday, overnighting a tick to UMass Amherst for their "tick report", was stellar! Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and "how may I help you" by Kelvin who patiently walked me through my options and when my decision was made, immediately typed up my label, showed me on the receipt how to EASILY track my package (just type the tracking # into the google search box- so easy!) and my package was on it's way! I just checked and it was received on time! Thank-you Kelvin! I will definitely use this location in the future. read more

Came here on Wed, March 3, 2021 for a complicated return in the afternoon. I thought it was going to be a problem and set low expectations for myself. There were 2 young ladies working in the store. The manager heard my problematic details and immediately provided 3 options to solve the issue. I was extremely impressed because she didn't waste my time making things worse. Instead she only focused on the solutions. Thought the trip was going to take me at least 30 mins but it was done in 5 mins thank to a brilliant manager with a great problem solving mindset. She should be recognized!!! read more

Horrible experience! We have shipped from this store for years. It should have been a tipoff when my husband went in, and they could not find us in their computer. My framer had carefully boxed a large piece of framed needlepoint ,and we just wanted them to put the label on and ship to our vacation home. Evidently, the label never made it on the package, and the package was lost. When we got to our vacation home, and it was not there we asked that they start to track it since the system would not allow me to track. Only showed that label was issued. Told us they would, but a week later nothing had been done even after several calls to the store. After a few more days, we were told they could not find it and would start a claim. I told them I did not want a claim, I wanted the needlepoint which had sentimental value and had taken hundreds of hours to complete. They could have cared less. They just wanted to settle the claim and be rid of me. After more than 10 hours on the phone with UPS , I was told that once claim was settled nothing more could be done to search for it. Finally contacted the UPS Corporate offices and they took an interest and were able to find it and ship to our home. Thanks to UPS Corporate for solving the problem, but I will never use this store again. It appears that they did not put the label on the package, and it was picked up without the shipping label. read more

Sadly I will add to the dismal reviews for Kitty and her UPS store. Unfortunate experience. We're a small business looking to expand our reach into other local cities and was looking forward to having a local address until we added an actual physical address. Signed a contract for 6 months and two days later learned that our desire to be proactive and have a presence in the city prior to having an actual office wasn't going to work as efficiently as we thought. Pout. I asked Kitty to allow me to pay in full the entire month... despite only having it for a handful of days, and if we could please refund the remaining five months? Sadly she talked around the request, ignored repeated efforts to communicate and has since simply disappeared. It's a shame. Was really looking forward to working in tandem with another small company and creating a solution for us both. read more

Lied and took my money. I packed clothes in a wine box to ship. I was told UPS won't take it in that box. They charged me for a box and he said he would repack it. I told him I would do it,but he insisted he would repack it. Sure enough, the box arrived in the wine box. It's not the $4 for the box that irks me, it's the outright lie. The owner Kitty did not seem concerned and said the box could have been rejected and sent back which would have made it very late. She blamed it on Holiday help. I explained the clerk knew what to do because he told me! Horrible place. I will never go back. read more

Employees are helpful but realize this is not a UPS owned store but a franchise of some sort. Prices seem high!!!! I had a UPS return and an account number to bill the package recipient. They wouldn't take it for (like I said) they are not a UPS owned store. I couldn't believe they wanted to charge me $35 for 3 day delivery of a 8.5x11 UPS envelope to the west coast. Instead I went to the US post office and shipped it in a priority envelope for about $6 for the same 3 day delivery. Crazy! read more

Great Store. Always great service. I always feel like i get their immediate attention when I come in the store and all of their services have been provided without a hitch. I've been to several of these UPS stores and they have often been manned by inattentive owners and inept staff. Not this store. This Sudbury UPS store is well run. read more

Used this store frequently as it is nearby. Today we visited and asked for to have copies notarized for a visa application. Tall gentleman behind the counter told us that they don't do that. He said they do provide notary services, but refused to do this, told us to go to the bank or library. When I said that this office had done this for me before he stated that this office doesn't do that. If I could give this store a zero star I would. I walked in recently to encounter a woman her name tag indicted she was the owner. she was horrible, rude and very pushy... she added insurance on my package without asking me first, This is not the first time I have been in this store. She treats her employees like trash. A few of them are very nice, however lately I've seen a few employees that have not been there that provided me with great service. The store is not a corporate store, her main prices for faxing and printing is high. The owner talks down to you like you were born yesterday, and she often pushes her employees out of the way during a transaction. I've seen that a few times. Awful, Very Awful service. I will not go there again if this owner is present, if she is I will gladly walk out!!! Beware and go to FedEx, There's a few in the area. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

If you ship a large expensive item, be sure to buy triple insurance bc they will not refund you the cost to ship it or packaging services.
