    Living Room Drywall
    Justin C.

William is a family man, so he understands the importance of home. You can tell with his attention to detail. I interviewed a lot of drywall companies but what made me gravitate to William was his passion for what He does and how pleasant he is to be around. Even my two year old son would ask for him when He was not on the job sight. Williams prices were fair and His communication is excellent. Our job was extremely tedious due to our deadlines, very detailed design and having multiple disciplines working at the same time. But even still William didn't get overwhelmed or concerned. He is the reason our home is so beautiful and I would recommend him to anyone looking to hire and get quality work. The finished product is stunning. We still have a few projects left and He has been patience a gracious to come back and finish them. That quality of dependability is hard to find is people these days.

The wall is now clean AND STRAIGHT

William is such a rare-find!!! I can't tell you how happy I am with his work and I am EXTREMELY PICKY as a design professional and William took his craftsmanship so serious I can't praise his work enough. Originally, I had a drywall guy recommended by a contractor, he has all the professional set up but halfway upon him finishing the first window, I realized the frame was not even on the windows and it's really obvious with black windows against light color wall. I don't know if it's the language issue or what(I don't speak Spanish and his English was very limited), I had someone translate for me and basically he kept saying it's because the frame wasn't even which we all know nowhere is perfect. But the fact he wouldn't spend any little time to shim anything but want to just close walls up as soon as possible, I just can't have that and cut that contractor lose right away. I talked to so many drywall guys and some of them either straight up told me they are just going to close up the wall too(cuz they want easy projects) or some people would be like oh you are looking for perfection and that's gonna cost you $$$$$. I was gaslighted to the point that I'm really wondering am I really a perfectionist or what I'm looking for is unreasonable? Until I talked to William, which he looked at everything and told me that's not a problem. I was a little skeptical I'm not gonna lie, how is that this young, soft spoken guy can do the impossible that everybody's talking about? OMG the work was better than I ever expected! I attached a photo which by itself makes no sense, this is the wall that was not plumb caused by the shatty work from previous owner's contractor on this new addition of the house. Originally I was going to put some acoustical wood panel that basically cover the wall up but make it look nice which is going to cost a lot and requires more work for us. But after William worked really hard on it, the wall where the door is now STRAIGHT!!! Obviously you can't tell from a photo which is why I took this picture of the corner that's even. We never thought we'll see this wall straight the way it is now after EVERYBODY told us it's not gonna happen. He's very professional, quiet, clean, meticulous with the work which made my life just a lot easier during this period of time that my house is a mess with all the projects going on and I work from home 100% of time which is not easy. He's my silver lining of losing my first drywall guy, PERIOD! We already talked about more projects when I re-do my kitchen and basically cleanup all the interior wall mess we inherited from the previous owner lol TOTALLY RECOMMEND HIM :)

William did a stunning job on our 1930s Spanish remodel. The original walls were lath and plaster, and we loved the original texture. We asked him to match this with drywall, and it came out beautifully. He was very courteous and pleasant to work with, and he came back himself several times to make sure the job was perfect and we were happy. He delivered on-budget, and incredibly close to on-time (which is saying a lot compared to almost every other trade we worked with on this project). The photos start after he had already gotten most of the sheets up, through the finished texture, and the whole job took just about 3 weeks. So many curves, and tricky corners, and it all came together better than I could've hoped! I was very impressed with the quality, care, talent, attention to detail, and communication I experienced working with William, and would definitely recommend him to friends. PS to William - a thousand apologies for taking SO long to write this review! Your work is so beautiful and I just wanted to wait for everyone else to finish their parts so I could show how it all ended up. We are very happy!

The entire inside was semi gloss and that beige orange color, it was horrible.

I just purchased my first home, and the eyesore was a popcorn ceiling and semi-gloss walls. I researched all my options and the conclusion was to remove the popcorn ceiling and possibly skim coat the walls. I called several contractors and they all flaked or never responded and after vetting WDA Quality Drywall, I was impressed with his work and reviews. William the owner gave me a phone Guesstimate, but mind you that was just for popcorn removal. We set up a date and time to do a walkthrough and get 2 estimates, popcorn only or adding skim coat. When I say William will work with you, he will work with you. I was impressed with both estimates and figured hey it's my new place, its empty, let's go for everything. We set up a 3 payment agreement, down payment, mid payment, and final payment on completion. We spoke about the business and he is in high demand, so if he doesn't get back to you, just call again, William is worth the wait and the work. I happy with the results, and I know you will be too. William loves to focus on quality and attention to detail. He used a light for the final inspection as others have also mentioned, to examine the drywall. Just know an over-the-phone guestimate is just that a guestimate, so make sure if you're ready to pay get an in-person estimate and William is safe for wearing a mask for covid safety. Thank you William!

William did an amazing job with drywalling my garage. I contacted William based on the amazing reviews I read on Yelp. You guys weren't lying about him being very patient, attentive, meticulous and just an honest person. The work was done in the timeframe we discussed and he even helped me out with a small project inside my home. He even offered to take any leftover materials for a full reimbursement! I will definitely recommend William for anyone wanting premium drywall services and will definitely use his services in the future. It's refreshing to find someone that says they can do something and follow through on those promises. Breath of fresh air. Thanks William! -Extremely Happy Customer

I am currently renovating my house and had it completely gutted down to the studs. My house was built in1962 and had plaster walls which were a huge pain to remove. The popcorn ceiling was left intact. We hired another contractor to attempt to scrape the popcorn off but it ended up making it worst and looked like cottage cheese. There was no way to scrape it smooth because of the plaster. I knew when I got to the point of hiring a drywall contractor, this was not going to be an easy job. To make it just a little bit more challenging, I wanted smooth walls and ceilings (level 5 finish). I spoke to and got estimates from several drywall contractors. When I called William, I was almost certain he wouldn't service my area since it was so far from the Valley. However, he told me in person he always makes an effort to go where the job are no matter how far. What initially attracted me to William was a lot of his reviews point out his attention to detail. This is very important to me especially since the final finish on drywall will be visible to everyone. After talking to William, I learned that he loves to focus on quality, will use a light for final inspection to examine the drywall, and loves to skim coat. These were all of the traits I was looking for. He gave me a very competitive bid and the rest is history. My wife and I are extremely happy with the final results. The walls and ceilings are smooth and looks perfect. One of the biggest transformations are the ceilings. It went from this rough cottage cheese to perfectly smooth. William had to apply 3 coats of mud. Whether you have a large or small drywall job, give William a call. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I already told him I plan on hiring him again in 2 years time when I get to my bathroom projects.

William was very professional from our 1st phone call to the final job being ready for paint. I hired WDA Drywall to install all drywall for my bathroom remodel project. To my surprise William recommended using 5/8 drywall opposed to 1/2 " drywall, I understand the difference in thickness and it makes the integrity of drywall better. The price of the job was reasonable and the quality of the work was exceptional. My occupation is a home inspector and i used to be a contractor so i understand what quality drywall looks like. I highly recommend hiring WDA Drywall if you want quality work and a smooth finish. John

William did an outstanding job! He was very conscientious, and incredibly clean. He does phenomenal work. My contractor said the final product was outstanding and was extremely impressed by the quality. William responds to texts and calls immediately. Can't recommend him enough. He has our number and we would be glad to be a referral for him anytime!

William is an amazing contractor. I wish I met him sooner! He's diligent, thoughtful and detail-oriented. I had an emergency project today, and he moved his schedule around to finish a bathroom that is getting tiled tomorrow. The pictures speak for itself. Looking forward to having him finish a few more rooms that need his skills

Over the years I have been doing DIY fixing of more bad spots around the house but I also work so I was never going to get around to all of it. I decided to call Luis back recently because I didn't want to do it myself anymore and I want to repaint fresh non-patchy walls. I hired Luis to reskim two bedrooms and two accent walls and some other miscellaneous spots that I added after he started working at my house. Luis was at my house for 3 half-days (1.5 in total) before telling me he was finished with the walls. I was (still) happy as a clam at that point and paid him in full for what was completed, fully trusting that the work was done skillfully based on my prior experience. (He was coming back one more time to finish the misc. stuff that I added on and I would pay for that part then.) Anyway, imagine my horror when I checked on his "finished" work and saw imperfections everywhere and tons of sanding dust still left behind on the walls, switches, and even mud on the door knobs. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves from here with brief descriptions of what's being shown. -Pictures 1-3: Some of the imperfections from the first time Luis said he was "finished." -Picture 4: His first fix-it visit(half day). He was supposed to find all the imperfections and patch them (the yellow highlighter spots), except he was patching bubbles with more bubbles. I had to patch all the spots again with my own compound and added a ton of other ones that he missed. Took me two full nights. -Pictures 5&6: His second fix-it and final visit (another half day). He was supposed to sand over all the patches and walls to leave them with a smooth & uniform finish that's ready for primer & paint. This was how I found them after he left. I sent him these pictures and told him to not come back as I had given him 2 chances to fix and he failed both times. There was no response from him. -Picture 7: I made only a partial payment of the balance on Luis' last visit because part of the remaining work was him making the corners of a ceiling overhang crisp, the corners are crisp but somehow the overhang is now squiggly when that wasn't the problem before. -Picture 8: I had taped up all my trims before Luis came as I didn't want any mud/compound to get on them, but I thought my crown molding were safe. They were not. He had busted them pretty badly with his electric sander in 7 spots and dinged them in at least 10 other spots but those were minor and I was able to superglue them back together. I did take on the repair of the major dings myself because I wanted to tape all of it up before he came back for more sanding. Luis and I had good rapport and I actually liked talking to him, but once the job took a turn for the worse, he never acknowledged that he didn't do a good enough job. He instead said things like, 1. "You're not supposed to look at the walls with a light from the side like that" and "I've never seen anyone look at a wall like you." --Yes, technically he's right, walls usually have paint on them which would have made these imperfections painfully obvious even when looking at them straight on, but until there is paint, this is how drywallers check for imperfections and fix them before they get permanently sealed with paint. (I had two painters (who also skim coat) come over for quotes and this was how they both checked to see how much prep work they would have to do before painting). 2. "I could fix these walls 10 times and something will still come up."--it really shouldn't if he did it right the first time, he's supposed to be a professional, not a DIYer like me. 3. "You've got to be kidding me. I'm at a point where I want to just refund your money and get out of this insanity"--after he came and saw all the patches I added to the walls (that he missed). I know what he was trying to imply and still gave him my electric sander to use so he could finish the job. With all that said, guess who is still stuck sanding the walls now after paying Luis to do the job and saying I didn't want to DIY this anymore. And with all these patches that I had to add to cover up his mudding imperfections/bubbles, it's looking like I'm going to end up with patchy walls again, which is exactly where I was when I handed Luis this project. What a joke. And the crown molding that I fixed up? That still needs to be repainted as well. I wasn't going to leave this review, but after several weeks and my walls still needing to be finished, I thought I would share my experience.
