We hired MZ Drywall Repairs to install and patch around a new ceiling vent in the bathroom, install new drywall on a water damaged pony wall, install new drywall after plumbing work. These three areas of the bathroom were critical to get right because the bathroom is small and these areas are very apparent. You would never know that these areas were opened up and repaired. The surface of the new drywall sections matches the existing old drywall perfectly. Marek and his crew members were highly professional and skilled in their trade. Needed to patch a 3'x3' hole in my kitchen ceiling from water damage from my upstairs neighbor. I texted Marek photos and a description of the work needed, and he gave me a reasonable estimate over the phone and was able to send someone out almost immediately. One of Marek's competitors-- the first guy I called-- tried to upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary services that were gonna cost me, in total, about 5 figures. I said no thanks and reached out to Marek instead and ended up getting that water damage repaired quickly and completely... for less than 20% of what the other guy quoted. Hired MZ Drywall to repair several holes after some electric work at my house. Workers arrived to work at 3pm and stayed until 8pm. Work was terrible. Huge mess everywhere. Drywall mud dripped onto furniture. Cracks, unsanded, uneven. After the work was "completed", I paid in full like an idiot. Then continued to notice more and more issues. More mess. Sheets of drywall and tools just left behind in our backyard. I called Marek to let him know I was disappointed and to ask for a partial refund, whatever he deemed fair, but he insisted he could send someone else to come and repair the work. This wasn't an option for me, because I had painters and other workers scheduled to come. Overall the money isn't the big issue here, it's the shoddy work. I thought by going with a dedicated drywall person, the work would be fast, easy, and good. Alas, it was none of the above. read more

After several other companies/handymen flaked, I luckily found Marek.
