I have been a customer since they installed my overall system for over $20,000 promising lower costs (ended up costing much more than my old system), reliable service (as unreliable and unresponsive as the worst service providers) and quality care from booking to customer service (WeCare does not care). After convincing me to renew my membership with overall improved service, I have once again been outrageously mistreated from inadequate technicians, heartless and foolish dispatch personnel, and a complete inability to know what is needed after being told multiple times. The latest episode...I have been waiting over 3 months for parts to my system (which I have been told they have in stock from the time I first requested) only to be met with lies, excuses, delays and no service after an initial service visit once again did not have the parts that with them after I told the office what was needed and make sure the tech. had with them upon arrival...yet they forgot again...and I was repeatedly told from my follow-up calls to wait for follow-up service after the weather got less hot so they can take care of other customer needs first...Note: I had an unscheduled technician come out weeks ago, unscheduled and with wrong parts, a much higher cost quote than previously agreed upon, and a horrible attitude. I immediately called WeCare of that incident telling them to never send that rude technician again, yet he came back 3 hours later with other wrong parts. Since then, unreliable scheduling and being canceled after waiting over 6 hours for the latest appointment attempt. An absolutely disgusting display of continuing horrible business practices. You can see so many negative reviews, and I clearly know why...I have experienced way too much incompetence and stupidity over and over with this service provider from my own experiences, and they always try to sell you things that you don't need. I will be contacting Costco to inform them of the kind of service and false promises being dumped upon their customers. They strongly need to reevaluate this company due to the "service" they provide. Shameful and disgraceful for so many...multiple...incidents of not providing quality and timely service. So, still, at this time and for months, I am left with a lack of quality air to circulate within my home due the ongoing negligence and nonsense from the people I have been interacting with at WeCare. I have heard from a couple of neighbors who used to have this provider, but no longer due to similar experiences. Beware! read more

We had a brand new heating and cooling AC system installed a week ago and it didn't work from day one. We have been working to get an appointment since then and they finally were able to assure us a repair person will come out tomorrow, but this means that another full day of work has to be taken off because they don't have the decency to at least give a window. I have had multiple instances where I call the line, it puts me on hold for 5 minutes, then sends me to voicemail, then tells me the voicemail box is full. Then a seemingly AI-generated text will reach out to me with appointments weeks away. This company is a hot mess. read more

After a complete customer service fiasco, and after waiting WEEKS (this appointment was made on JUNE 2-We Care stated it was the soonest opening they had) for my July 29 HVAC maintenance appointment (I am a long-time customer and pay the monthly "VIP Club" dues), after confirming my July 29 appointment, after ensuring my schedule was rearranged to allow me to be home all day, and after getting a text this morning stating today's appointment was on-they cancelled it. No go. After weeks of waiting for a basic HVAC appointment. After the owner who wanted "one more chance"...cancelled. Do NOT believe what their website states regarding the importance of maintenance and the benefits of their VIP Club. 8/12/2026-I scheduled a service appointment well in advance and confirmed that my coupon would be accepted, but when the technician arrived, I was told it was invalid. Even after contacting the office manager, they wouldn't honor it or provide a partial discount, though they did offer $20 off the diagnostic fee. The technician was professional and polite, but the unhelpful attitude of the office staff was disappointing. This experience has made me reconsider using their services, as better communication and honoring commitments are essential. read more

Our new AC unit was installed and purchsed by Oak Island in 2023 which was bought by WE Care and included the 5 yr warranty. For the past month we have had issues with the unit and WeCare came out several times to address the problems. The third visit the repair guy was here almost 3 hours and told us not to run it over the weekend (the recent hot one) and then turn it on. The issue was condensation which had been addressed at the other 2 visits, but obviously wasn't fixed. We turned the air on as instructed and only heat came out -- no cold air. Reminder: the hottest week we've had in Oceanside 2026. Second day turned it on and we had cold air, it worked for 6 hrs and then it began accumulating water in the pan as before and wasn't draining. We cleaned up water, turned unit off and called WECare no one could help us and we were transferred to numbers that had no answer or voice mail which was full. We now wont' be serviced until Oct. This is not acceptable and we want service NOW with this ongoing problem. read more

Used to use a local plumber when I was in restaurants and that company was too busy for me on my residential need a few months back. Also decided to leave a review because of a longer term solution We Care helped me with.... we have a battery system at the house so thought we could run off AC forever and never worry about a utility bill. Wasn't the case. Had to wrestle with peak shaving the grid or cooing the house but not both. So back to...called out We Care for that plumbing issue and was just talking shop with the plumber, AJ. (Shout AJ)- he was super quick and showed up on time- I can't stand waiting for 4 hours for someone to show up in that last minute too. Dude ended up telling me that his company has an electric side and maybe look into adding a whole-house fan (ceiling). Dude called it- these things work so great. It's like a cheat code in the morning before the day starts, and hell of a lot cheaper than the night rates... so now my battery just sells more solar to the grid at the peak rate time instead of cooling down my house! I had we care come check my a/c and heater i was one of there customers that had a service contract with them they sent one of there technicians he came out of my attic were it's located to inform me that I need a new system $20k plus he new I couldn't go up the ladder I had just got out of the Hospitol he sent pictures of supposedly my system I called another a/c heater company who inspected my unit he said my unit was like new be ware of (we care plumbing ) read more

He also found that we had a bad air gap and a leaking, rusty garbage disposal which needed to be replaced due to his thoroughness. When I moved to a new home and heater wasn't running well. I called "We Care Plumbing...", they sent their crew right away but I was put off by their sales tactics. After the crew checked my unit, I was urgently advised to replace my entire unit for $15k otherwise they will report to have my gas shut off until I get it replaced. I kindly asked they do not and informed them that the day prior I had the gas company check my unit and the gas company said I only needed to replace the "on/off" switch and the unit was operating safely. I called another heating company, they confirmed the same issue as the Gas company and replaced my "on/off" switch for a nominal price. My unit has been running well and safely. It's sad to witness this type of sales tactics, especially when I have two small children and it's in the middle of winter with temps as low in the 40s at night. The thought of having my heating unit shut off because they wanted to make a sale is not right. I share this review for the business to change their ways and so other potential customers are aware. read more

As the second part of a quest to eliminate foul orders in our house, I requested an HVAC duct cleaning from We Care. As the ducts in our home had probably not been cleaned since the house was built in 1985 weeks ago were WAAAY overdue. Brooke quickly got us scheduled and kept us reminded of our appointment as well as providing technician tracking information to our door on the day of the appointment. Chris and Malik did a thorough job cleaning and disinfecting our ducts and the last remnants of odor disappeared. Chris and Malik were very personable, professional, knowledgeable, neat, and we are very happy with their work. We also opted to have our HVAC System updated with an air purification module to help keep our system as clean smelling and bacteria free as possible. We are extremely happy with the Service we received from We Care and highly recommend them. read more

We have service with We Care. the last 2 weeks we have had them at our residence for the same problem, our thermostat stops working, had different guys work on it and they both have different solutions. then the second person tried selling us a new thermostat for an outrageous price when we have a warranty with We Care. so technically everything should be covered as we signed up for. We shouldn't have to pay anything and feel as though they are trying to rip us off instead of doing the right thing and honoring our warranty. It is incredibly hot, we are both elderly and my husband is disabled and we are unable to even sleep in our room. Would not ever recommend this company to anyone. This was for my WiFi air conditioning upstairs thermostat. . We Care sent somebody out. He just thought it was a bad thermostat. They sent a email with over $2000.00 dollars of things I needed. Just a new Thermostat was over $400.00. I bought the same model thermostat on Amazon for $130, So I canceled the appointment. I had another air company come out. When he came. He already had the parts with him. He came in and Immediately went in the attic and came down with a burnt out circuit board that was for managing the upstairs and downstairs. It had 4 RJ-45 ports on each side. The area that burnt was the upstairs side. He replaced it in less than 20 min. In 5 min it worked perfectly. He asked me if We Care went to check the board, I said no he said to take the thermostat from downstairs and plug it in upstairs to make it work!! The tech laughed. It was not the thermostat at all, just a burnt out circuit board that needed replaced in the attic is all! And the cost was 90% less the We Care quoted me! read more

I received a coupon to have my hot water heater inspected and flushed. I called We Care, they set up an appointment and a few days later, the very nice gentleman (Lee) came and inspected/flushed the hot water heater. I really liked the fact that I received a text with Lee's photo and that he was on his way to the house on the day of service. I would definitely use We Care again in the future. read more

Their service reps are always friendly and professional. They provide a wide range of services. And they've helped a lot over the years in keeping the cost of maintenance low. We use them for AC/Heating and our plumbing. We also liked the descaler they recommended for our water tank it helps keep the build up low. We like they will clean/maintain our AC. And also appreciate their recommendation to install an air purifier which helps with allergies and keeping the air fresher. read more

I called because of a furnace not lighting issue. I did look at it and surmised it was a bad gas valve. Repair technician appeared next day and confirmed the bad gas valve. Prior to the work commencement, i received an estimate for $1200. That was for a $100 part and under an hour of work. I questioned the high charge, but reluctantly agreed to the work. He did discount the work a small amount. I have been a customer of theirs sine 2011 when they installed the furnace and a/c system. I did speak with the owner and relayed my concern. I have had them come out for scheduled servicing in the past, and have received, what i consider outrageous estimates for repairs. I will not have any further dealings with them. Stay clear of 'we care' plumbing! Especially if you are a disabled single female; simply wanting/needing to replace a dysfunctional old toilet with a senior height toilet of 19-20" due to disabilities and painful joints. It never occurred to me that the plumber would be without any knowledge of these toilets. 2 toilets later - neither meeting the height requirement and the 2nd being full of broken parts (which I discovered with the lack of flushing and high pitched wailing)...I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for the toilet payments. I've found this organization highly untrustworthy. Don't rely on the name of 'we care'. My experience is the exact opposite. p.s. R&R Plumbing was very helpful to me as I reached out to a reputable plumbing organization to understand toilet limitations. They'll be the ones I'll use in the future. read more
