Is this guy honest, or what? I am a little skeptical whenever I see businesses with near 5-star reviews but We Fix It, Andreas (the owner), and Renzo and Gabriel (two of the Mechanics) have definitely earned all five - see below. I brought my Prius in for an oil change last night and was a little weary of going to a new mechanic, because I just moved from California to Arizona. I called pretty late to see if they could do my oil change, but they were happy to fit me in. The worst thing is when you go into a shop for a simple oil change, and leave with a whole laundry list of things that are wrong with your car and a huge headache, but this was not the case. Renzo did my complete car inspection (which is free with every service) and my oil change, and found a few things that were wrong. Because i needed my car that night, I had to leave with just getting my oil change done. The next day, Gabriel, finished the rest of the work on my car and I can not remember it running this well for as long as I've had it (almost 11 years). The service, work and repairs done by Gabriel were done to a quality that parallels that of a dealership. Not only was he very clear on what needed to be done and why, but I was sent pictures of exactly what was wrong so I could see for myself. Gabriel is a quality mechanic that definitely takes pride in his work and treated my car as if it was his own. Today, I was recommending him to all of my colleagues at work, and will continue to do so. In this day and age, honesty is hard to come by but this business is out to earn your trust, not to make a quick buck, and the quality and care provided by Andreas, Renzo and especially Gabriel are second to none. They all three deserve more than five stars. I will forever be bringing my cars back to We Fix It. read more

Replaced manifold gasket on 2005 Dodge Durango 4.7 liter engine. No problem. The cost was one third of the dealer estimate. I dropped the truck off when they opened and had it back later that afternoon. The dealer wanted it for two days minimum. The parts cost was what I could have purchased them for. The dealer would have triple the cost. I waited a few months before making this post to make sure gasket held and it has. Excellent service, excellent price. I've used this place a couple times and recommended it to several people. read more

These guys deserve nothing but 5 stars all around! After reading all the awesome reviews I bought the Yelp deal for an oil change. I was a little on-guard thinking stereo-typically I would end up with "hidden" charges. To my surprise, I got an oil change, excellent customer service, a quick run down of issues with my car (which I asked for) AND an exterior car wash - for $20 bucks!! I returned for a more significant repair a few months later and was still treated with the utmost courtesy. Since then I have called a few times with questions about "weird" noises in my car. Dean is ALWAYS very polite, helpful, and gives stellar customer service. They have never pushed services on me and have always made me feel comfortable about the advice I receive. Recently became owner of 2006 Mustang, I felt was in pretty good shape but I wanted to be sure so we took it to We Fix It Auto Repair. I am very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy and work that was performed, As I thought it was in great shape but needed a few things, fuel system clean, brakes flushed, serpentine belt replaced and rear shocks, also had them replace the plugs, Car runs much better and I feel much better about my wife driving the car alone. I appreciate the fact I got the car back in one day. Chapman Ford had it for 5 days to flash a tps. If you have another shop you can go to, you should go there. I was a frequent customer at We-Fix-It after my car broke down on their doorstep while I was picking up my dog at the nearby Scottsdale Pet Hotel (awesome place by the way). I was grossly overcharged by We-Fix-It ($2000 repair) but that is par for the course so I wasn't overly concerned. My mistake was giving them repeat business and thinking that Andreas, the owner, would be a reasonable professional. I had additional issues (interesting, also electrical, which they said they fixed the first time) and needed my car fixed before driving across the country for a job change. We-fix-it knew this, had two weeks to fix my car, and completed the repair. Well, that's what I thought another 500$. THE CAR DIDN'T MAKE IT 5 HOURS DOWN THE ROAD BEFORE HAVING THE EXACT SAME ISSUE THEY SAID THEY FIXED. Now I'm stuck on the side of the highway in Gallup, NM and have to get a tow to a dealer for yet ANOTHER repair. Have to leave my car there to make it across the country in time and then PAY TO GET IT SHIPPED. When I notified Andreas, the owner, he feigned shock and concern. He obviously wasn't really concerned at all. I asked him to help me with the bill, he refused. I asked him to split it with me, since they obviously did not adequately repair my car. Andreas said it was not their problem, there was no way for them to know. Why did the exact same thing happen then? Why did the mechanic in Gallup say it was EXTREMELY LIKELY (but not 100% provable) that they missed something they should have caught? Why wouldn't a business owner help out a repeat customer in this situation? Here's the kicker, the best offer I got from Andreas was 100$ and free oil changes for a year. FREE OIL CHANGES FOR A YEAR WHEN HE KNOWS I'M LEAVING ARIZONA. What a disgrace. If you like getting ripped off and treated like garbage by an owner who fails to take responsibility for a mistake because he has too much pride to admit it is possible his business isn't perfect, by all means, go to We-Fix-It. I'm disappointed to be leaving this review after having spend thousands of dollars at we fix it. Each time I leave the shop I feel uneasy and as if I've made the wrong choice by taking my car to this shop. Their prices are almost double that of other shops near by, even the one right next door. I get that this is because of their "expertly trained" mechanics but my car has left this shop with damages that were not there prior to the visit. I truly feel as though I cannot walk in there alone as each employee I've talked with have pressured me or tried to pressure me into repairs I've felt or known weren't necessary. Just today they had me pay $55 in service fees for them to remove a 3 bolt door panel and screw it back on to diagnose an issue. I also asked them to top off my fluids, which they did not do. On top of all of this I felt incredibly uncomfortable in the shop today as they were not requiring customers or employees to wear masks despite the governments mandate. While the shop is very clean and friendly, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I am a proud owner of a 2005 Mustang and have loved everything about it for as long as I've owned it, except for the Audio system! I was waiting in line at a local grocery store and was on the phone complaining about how I hated my stereo system in my Mustang when the gentleman behind me informed me that his name was Gabriel and he was a mechanic at a shop just down the street and that he could easily help me upgrade my car audio system. He gave me the number and I called the next day and got it done with him right away! He replaced my two door speakers which is a job that you can get done pretty much anywhere; what really impressed me was how he installed two overhead "tweeters," new double-din deck, amplifier and subwoofer! I've seen so many botched overhead tweeter jobs where it looks as if a caveman cut into the plastic of the car and shoved the speakers in, but this was not the case! The speakers look as if the engineers who designed the car made it with them already installed! Then, he converted my single-din radio deck into a double-din. Not only did he expertly mold the surrounding plastic around it, but he finished it with matching chrome detail around it! My car radio deck literally looks as if this is the way that it was manufactured. I can not believe how professionally done this was by this technician. There are no gaps, and the deck fits perfectly in the front dash of my car. Then I looked all over the inside of my car to see where he strung the wires that connected my battery, amp and battery, but they were nowhere to be found! It always looks so cheap when you get into a friend's car and there are a ton of wires for the amp and subwoofer that are on the floor boards, but Gabriel actually took off all of the internal paneling to string the wires so that they could not be seen at all! Lastly, the amplifier and subwoofer weren't just simply thrown into the trunk. The sub woofer was securely fastened down to the cover for my spare and the amplifier was secured to the sidewall of my trunk! It literally looks as if they were installed by the Ford Engineers themselves! Gabriel definitely takes pride in the work that he does and I cannot be happier with the work he did on my Mustang! I will be taking my car to him for as long as he's still wrenching! Amazing job, Gabriel! My car audio system is now amazing; you're the best! read more

Bewildered that this biz has high marks for reviews, as soon as I declined their repairs, true colors revealed...consider yourself warned, price gauging at its best, overtly strong sales/scare tactics. They quoted $1029 for repairs, dealer quoted $650, that is without mention of prior quote to dealer. Do yourself a favor, avoid like the plague. read more

I have lived in Scottsdale for 25 yrs , and I take my cars to We Fix It . Honest, friendly, reliable , reasonable with work guaranteed for a year. I ran over a bag on the 101 that flew out of a truck bed last year and the skid plate under the car became detacthed. Three places looked at it, did not even offer to fix it. Andreas' crew found a way to attach it for $40. They even honored a discount coupon I had , so it was basically done for free. I just got a motor mount done , very reasonable, always friendly, never pressure. The work is always done in the time frame promised, and they even offered to pick me up to get the car. They gave me a FREE oil change / tire rotation for my birthday..like FREE!. These guys are truly a hidden gem worth finding, tucked in on the East side of the street , about a half mile south of McDowell Rd on Scottsdale Rd . I came in today for my first time here and I was happy with my experience. I needed a lift for an hour to do some basic detail work and these guys provided me that. My only complaint is that I had to wait an hour to get a spot, but that is not their fault. They told me over the phone beforehand that it was first come-first served. Being that I have to drive over 25 miles to get here I wish it was not so risky for me to try to get a bay. Regardless, I cannot source what they provided for less money or at a nearer location (there is no nearer location). The concept is brilliant and, at this address, well executed. The owner has a great demeanor and checks up on the customers to make sure everything is going OK. I can see myself coming here again. Aside, this place gets almost cult-like reviews. This ia a very small shop and I had to wait an hour for them to "back my car" into the bay - the parts were reasonable and they did have the tools I needed for a basic brake job, but when I inquired on replacing my clutch and the specialty tools needed, the guy that I needed to talk to "wasn't there". Andreas and Dean were able to get my car in right away. They are very friendly and courteous. As a woman that is very refreshing not like some auto places that they talk down to you or can't be bothered to explain the problem to you like you couldn't understand anyway .They even gave me a loaner car free till they could fix my radiator, and timing belt..They gave me a fair price and got the job done in a timely manner when they said it would be finished. They also pointed out some things to watch out for but no sales pressure was pitched..They even gave my car a complimentary car wash and a 20 % discount with the VIP Car Care Club membership. I saved $150 which already pays for the $79. fee to join including a 3 year 36 k miles warranty. The car owner is entitled to all kinds of discounts including multiple free oil changes and other benefits. Savings of up to $674/yr!. I would highly recommend this business and even a do-it-yourself car owner is allowed use of the shop's equipment. and space to work. I hope this business thrives in Scottsdale and is around for a long time! I sent a message to We Fix It via Yelp overnight on 3/21/16 after reading their good reviews. I wanted to get my fathers 2008 Honda Accord in for an oil change and general checkup since he just drove here, visiting from New York. I owned a repair shop & dealership in NY and therefore I knew his car ONLY needed an oil change and nothing else. Andreas called me around noon that day and told me to bring it right in if we could. So, we dropped it off at 2p and told them to call us when it was ready. They called us at 4p and we went to go get it. He went inside and paid for the oil change. He was told that his car was in excellent condition, so I'm happy to say our first experience with this shop was a very good one. I will be bringing my car to them for an oil change soon. It's a 2015 civic, so I know it's also in perfect shape, and as much as I'd hate to be the guy who only needs oil changes, I want to go back to this place because first impressions count, and they did a good job. I had actually gone to another shop down the road from We Fix It to check out a ticking noise and get an oil change. That shop completely refused to even look at my car because it had the ticking and they were scared. I was in a huge pickle and really needed help getting this taken care of. I started Googling other shops that were around me and I found We Fix It, it was closing time but I took a leap of faith and called to see if someone was still there. Andreas answered the phone and even after business hours he had me bring my car in and he would take a quick look. After a quick inspection he found would could have potentially been a HUGE problem (no oil in my car at all). He asked if he could keep the car overnight considering I lived on the other side of town he didn't think it was wise to keep driving it. I told him I had no other means of transportation to get home and then back to work in the morning, he said your car is not safe to drive and he was able to get me a loaner car at no cost to me (I just needed to have full coverage on my car ins.). The next day he called me and said no severe damage was done to my car thankfully and he completed the oil change, and guess what? No More Ticking!!! He mentioned a few other services that were preventative maintenance unfortunately at the time I wasn't able to afford. He said no worries we can do them little by little whenever we were ready to do them. I've taken my car back a few times for oil changes since my first We Fix It experience and recently I was finally able to get all the preventative maintenance services done on my car (yes they were necessary, I had been putting them off!). I even got a call from a very nice lady in the front office to follow up and make sure my car was working great. One time out of the blue Andreas even called me just to make sure the original ticking noise hasn't come back! I honestly feel that they treated me like they would a family member and I'm very happy to be part of the We Fix It family. I've referred a few people from my office, and my fiancé is taking his car there this Friday to get his worked on. The office is always clean, even the shop area where the mechanics are is very clean and organized! It takes a lot of trust and effort to find a great mechanic that's honest and up front with you. I'm happy the random shop down the road couldn't help me because I never would have found We Fix It Auto Repair!! I'm new to the area and chose We Fix It because of the multitude of excellent reviews online. One of the window regulators in my Impala was broken, so the window wouldn't go up. I admittedly don't know terribly much about cars, but with a little basic research online, I figured the part should cost me around $75-100. I estimated I'd pay that plus labor costs and wind up between $150-200 total. Anyhow, I arrived and told them not to fix anything until they diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. They confirmed it was only the window regulator that was broken, but the guy said, "Oooh, the part for your car is super expensive. That's a pricey fix." (Coincidentally, I'd heard him use a similar line on 3 other customers while I waited.) He then quoted me just shy of $600. Seriously. Six hundred dollars. I was shocked and asked what the price of the part was, and he hedged around the question, never giving me a straight answer. I politely declined the fix and checked at a few other places around town. I ended up being able to get it fixed for $160 by a company (Power Window Repair) who came to my car to fix it. My advice, especially if you are a younger female, DON'T GO HERE. All I can assume is this is blatant sexism. I'm disgusted that they would try to take advantage with such a massive price mark-up. read more

I was pricing out how much our Toyota synthetic oil change would cost using 6 1/2 qts of oil, and called the Toyota dealership, Sun Devil Auto, and a neighborhood shop, before responding to these folks' mailer I received. I might just be a senior citizen female, but I KNEW how much oil my car took, and spent a lot of time getting quotes with tax included, on how much this was going to cost. Only other thing I needed was new wiper blades. Since my husband and I are retirees, I wanted so bad to get the best rate, now that the car just came out of new warranty. I was told on phone that since we had the larger car, and the more expensive oil, it would cost a total of $59.95 plus tax, and $15 for each wiper blade....and could use my 10% discount offer on the wiper blades. They kept my car from 10:30 (with an appointment)..had to call them at 3:30 to ask why it wasn't finished. Finally picked it up at 4:00... but was shocked that total bill came to $116. I was told they make all quotes on just 5 qts of oil....(a lie....that was NOT discussed on the initial contact, and they KNEW my large SUV required more than 5 qts)....and then the filter was an EXTRA $18. All other shops I talked with included the oil filter in their prices. The older gentlemen at the front desk could care less that I was very unhappy and that I felt like I had been taken. Bottom line, I could have saved $$$ going to any of the other three quoted places..... DO NOT recommend this place. read more
