    I reached out with my boyfriend's help on Yelp and was quoted $120/hr, the cost of extra materials was not mentioned at the time. The day before my move I hadn't gotten a confirmation call, so I sent an email. That night I got a call confirming the teams arrival. They came within the agreed upon window and immediately got to work. The contract they provided was not quoted correctly ($130/hr) and I was told saran wrapping would be $25 and heavily emphasized to use. I called Dorothy to get clarification and expressed my discomfort in this cost not being noted upfront. The team moved my furniture from a 3rd story apartment to a 2 story home. While moving my adjustable computer desk it was dropped in the moving truck. I was too concerned about checking the functionality to check the damage and it was bad. Overall, all my furniture was dinged in some form or another and the house has markings on the walls, base boards, doors, and entryway frames. The total for three hours was $480 after excluding the Saran wrap. I tipped $10 each because I couldn't believe how banged up my furniture got. The movers left materials both in the apartment and house that I had to assist in returning. Two weeks later I noticed the damage on my table and reached out to Dorothy. My email was kicked back, so my boyfriend messaged on Yelp. We were left on read. I looked over the contract receipt and on the back it said that any damaged incurred in the move must be noted at the time of move. I'm incredibly disappointed in the service of this business. I've moved several times, especially as an ex military dependent, and this has been the most frustrating. As a woman, the selling point of this business being women-owned really drew me in. But choosing this service based on that primary selling point is a sacrifice for quality service.

    I have avoided leaving a review to give this "company" a chance to resolve their issues. I moved in JUNE 2022. My movers were kind, although there were times were they went missing to "go get gas" for an hour after getting to the second location of my move. (The hour or idle time they were no where to be found, Which I paid for) they showed up late to the first location too. These are things I could have gotten over. When I first booked my move and up until the move ended, If I texted or called the owners number, I would receive a very quick response (of course when it was time to pay and I had questions they were very prompt in responding). During the move one of the guys put my glass topper to my antique table on its side, balanced on a wall. Of course it shattered and broke into a million pieces. The sweet guy felt really badly about it, which again, things happen and I said it was totally fine. He told me that the company would replace it and I messaged them immediately about it and they followed up with a confirmation of this. After I paid upwards of $850 for my move and the guys left, I found two large scratches in one of my TVs. After reaching out to them, the owner attempted to gaslight me into thinking that the tv was wrapped upon the movers arrival. I was still packing when they arrived, I had zero wrapping equipment and I couldn't have wrapped the tv. So after clearing the manipulation, the owner agreed to replace it. She of course made me jump through hoops by saying she needed to see it turn on (the movers lost the cord) and she even said she ordered a cord for me. A week passed and of course no cord arrived, so I purchased one. I sent her the measurements and she agreed to replace it. It is now late February of 2023. I have attempted to call, leave voicemails, and text this terribly run business around 15 times since they fell off the face of the earth. I am always hit with "I'll contact the insurance company and give you a call back today", which had never happened. I am so incredibly upset and now have to waste more time, energy, and money finding an attorney to get them to follow through. I moved again and used "two men and a truck" who gave me the experience I deserved. I highly recommended the latter company. I would rather chew on the glass from my broken table than use this awful establishment again.

    Missing black pieces

    The owners asked me to update after doing what they could to rectify the situation. Updating to 2.5 stars. They replaced my suitcase, though not an exact replacement, and bought me replacement pieces for my bed. It took a while, but it was done. I can't rate any higher due to the way my items were treated and comments I heard from the movers. Also forgot to mention in my previous review that I found a cigarette butt under my bed, left by the mover who reassembled it. My experience may not be a reflection of the owners/management as they seemed apologetic enough, however, more customer service training is needed for those who will be handling items.

    Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

I originally found them when I needed to move a piano and quickly realized that, based on the quotes I was getting, it was almost as expensive to move just the piano as it was to move the whole house. Thankfully they handled it with no problem. Both moves were smooth, the crew worked quickly, and everything was handled with care. Moving is stressful enough, so it's always a relief when the team you hire is organized and professional. Another reason I'm happy to keep giving them my business is that they volunteer their services for a food drive at a nonprofit I'm involved with. Seeing a company show up for the community like that really means a lot. Great service, dependable team, and a company that gives back. Hard to ask for more than that.

Let's begin with what are two of the most important considerations with a long-distance relocation--cost, and protection of your property. I say with confidence that Brandon will give the best available pricing when compared with other interstate movers. He has been in this business for a very long time and his experience equates to efficiency, which in turn equates to cost savings for his customers. When it comes to protection of your property, Brandon's experience again pays off. Each item is treated as he would treat his own property. Boxes are well packed with contents protected with sufficient wrapping. Mattresses are double-bagged and arrive in the same condition as they left. I had a lot of glass and/or fragile items in this move, and nothing at all had any damage, for which I am grateful. I experienced multiple interstate relocations during my career in the U.S. Coast Guard, all of which were contracted to major companies. I also made one interstate move on my own over 25 years ago (for which I still wonder what I was thinking). This move with Parker's Interstate Movers tops all of the previous for cost, efficiency, and ease. I think it's so important to do your research when you're looking for services and I kept coming back to Creative. Their prices are extremely reasonable and more competitive than other local companies in the valley. They also offer a law-enforcement discount, which is awesome. I spoke with the owner via Yelp messenger, and he was very responsive to everything that I asked! I got a call and an email a couple days before my scheduled move for confirmation, and everything went so smooth. I can't say enough praises about my entire experience!! Renée and her other two guys showed up right up about 720, when they gave me a window between 7 and 730 which was perfect. I had two stops before my final destination, and they did everything like real pros! They were so gentle with my things, and once we got to my new home, they went out of their way to assemble furniture for me. They even took all the trash before they left. All three of them were so friendly and personable, I loved getting to spend time with them while we were moving all of my belongings. I can't recommend another moving company enough, if you're looking for someone to take care of your goods and provide incredible customer service for reasonable pricing, this is absolutely your company.
