First and foremost, WEAVE does great work and it is an organization that you can feel good about supporting. Second, this is a lovely little store and it has none of the usual thrift store funk (read: stank) in it. Things are arranged nicely and are well-organized. It's primarily women's clothing but there are few books, CDs, DVDs and a couple of racks of men's clothing. The quality is generally pretty good, and on the first visit we actually found stacks of brand-new Bearpaw boots for women, all in the box, that had been donated by the manufacturer. On a quest to find a vintage 30's style dress, I checked this spot out. Located next to Kiss'n'Tell, this thrift store has tons of space. Clothes are sorted according to size. Went on Sunday when it opened at 10am, pretty spacious. Thanks to Melanie D., Amber S. and Cyndi L. found some good designer finds at WEAVE Arden. Got in INC top for $1. Got a great Bisou top for $4 and silk knit beaded top by Studio M for $4. There is a $1 rack in the back of the store and a high end designer rack of Ralph Lauren, Paris Blues and such but those are marked higher, near the cashier. They size their clothes and separate by pants, skirts, dresses, etc... The clothes are clean and the store doesn't smell. Has it's own parking lot. This was a great find. Certain days of the week are certain sales. On Sundays it is $1 for green tags. The best sale day is the 3rd Saturday of the month, everything in the store is 50% off! I went the day after the sale, even with the store picked through, I still did find some designer wear throughout the store. It was well put together and nice and organized. It had a cute hanging chandelier with seating space and a dressing room. Plus, it didn't have a dingy smell like most thrift stores have where it feels like you're going to have a sinus attack with the loaded dust. "Ahhhh-chooo!" I especially liked how they hung their pants (don't judge lol). I ended up finding 2 items that I really liked and used for the photoshoot. A beautiful vintage white flowy wedding dressing for $14.99 (which didn't look like a traditional wedding dress) and an old gold broach for $3.00 which I used as a hair piece instead for my model. Upon paying for it, other shoppers were eyeing the wedding dress and complimenting how gorgeous it was - I couldn't even believe I was paying for it for only $14.99 - it was that beautiful. The staff was really friendly and it was through them that I learned about the cause behind the store. If it wasn't for them explaining about it - I would have walked out thinking I just left a nice looking thrift store. read more

WEAVE has a great thrift shop. The shop used to be downtown but it's moved to Arden Way (amusingly placed next door to an adult store, tee hee). Good size, lots of stuff, and seems like they're always having a sale or special going on. I particularly love the book room and the women's formal/vintage room, where I've found lots of great cocktail and formal dresses. An example of the epic offerings: on one of their half-off days, I got 2 little black dresses (one from Kenneth Cole and one from The Limitied) for $11 out the door. BAM! They're doing a great job with COVID precautions. The staff wears masks properly and sanitizes all the clothes. They also have fitting rooms open and sanitize them after every use. Me and my mom used to come in here all the time to support them and there mission on helping people and their situations, but maybe some of there employees don't know or maybe understand the mission. I have tired 3 times recently with this store and every time I'm less impressed with this establishment. The first too times they simply were to busy with themselves and there conversation and it took them literally 20 minutes to open a dressing room while I asked 2 times and 2 of them were just standing there talking. This last time was the final straw. I tried to donate something and the immediate thing was "SORRY WE ARE CLOSED" someone came in behind me who also didn't see the sign and the first thing the maybe manager said was "god what is wrong with these people don't they know where closed" me and the other female who walked in was African American. I was so out done with what he said I don't even feel comfortable ever returning. They got a few fake designer hand bags now they thing there the best thrift store in town. Whoever prices items has no clue that Goodwill is up the street and is stiff competition. They had no issue letting me and my two bridesmaids in their larger dressing room so they could help me zip up and choose between the many options they had. Very high quality used garments, they also had a nice suit section and I'll probably be back to browse those with my fiancé. This place had so many great cloths in fantastic prices. They held an everything fifty percent sale and we left with loads of beautiful items, mostly women and a few men. We wish we had longer to spend in the store and enter the gown room. Service was friendly and we were told that all the money goes to help troubled teens and anti trafficking activities. This place is a great store in that they they have a wide variety of items most in great condition. The store is very cute, clean, and well organized. If found a few great pieces. Some things seemed a bit overpriced for a thrift store. The biggest let down was the staff, who my younger cousins could hear talking about their clients. I get it's not Nordstroms but common curtesy and customer service still apply. If there was an issue with anything or a rule was being broken it should have been brought to the attention of the customer so they could correct it. They recently re-did this store and it is now very organized, attractive to shop in and have a TON of stuff! I don't usually buy clothes from thrift stores as I usually just find overly used stuff. Weave gets a lot of new items and higher end clothes. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for! An evening gown for a cruise that was cheap. I Found a beaded dress for only $14.95! I hit every thrift store and consignment store in the mid town downtown area that I could find. Many of them are no longer there, limited selection or very used stuff. I should have come here first! I went back the next day and piled through the 98 cent room. I found 5 more goodies! 3 of them had never been worn! I am going to a very warm climate for 3 months and needed lightweight dresses that I could leave behind as I have very limited space. I thought their selection was very well organized, in good condition and priced well. The staff was helpful and kind. They actually let you take as much as you want in the dressing room to try on! Wow! They are open 7 days a week. They carry women's clothing, men's clothing, women's shoes and jewelry. No toys or furniture. I would highly recommend you check out this store! read more

I'm giving them a three because their prices are absolutely insane! This is not a thrift store they charge like a used clothing boutique. I literally found shoes and tops in the $20-40 range. It was so sad seeing two people walk in who clearly NEEDED clothes on a budget and were forced to look through the "sale" racks. 1) you would make more money if you lowered prices because you would sell more items 2) How are you providing any in need people with affordable clothing if you are pricing everything at these high price points??!? Very disappointed! Staff was very friendly but because of the ridiculous pricing I can't return. I have always been a fan of WEAVE's thrift stores. They often receive donated items that still have the original sales tags attached, and lots of name brands. I've got a sweet, pink velvet chair that I bought there a while back--lots of groovy items that have been well-cared for by previous owners. Just the other day, I stopped into the new location on Arden. It's much larger than the downtown store (which is now closed), with clean dressing rooms. The racks aren't marked by sizes anymore, which I miss. But I still found way too much killer stuff! I found a funky pendant necklace, some hardly-worn jeans, lots of tops and skirts, running shorts, cute shoes, purses--everything but the kitchen sink. As my friend and I were leaving, we found a collection of handmade totes by Bag Ladies of Northern California--they were sort of tucked into a corner inconspicuously. Apparently, the designer of this line buys old jeans from the store to turn them into fun totes. They're the kind you might use for a pool party or farmer's market. I bought a cute one made of white-striped denim with a Fourth-of-July strap-y ribbon. Very cute! For only $10, a portion of the proceeds also goes back to WEAVE. There are lots of styles, some made with rainbow colored suspenders for kids. We recommended that the clerk move them closer to the cash register so folks don't miss them. They were darling. My friend bought three of them! A few years back, I worked at WEAVE and shopped at the stores regularly, but this was my first visit to this new store on Arden. It definitely doesn't have the same vibe as the downtown location, but the quality of the merchandise is still pretty comparable. read more

Are you into high quality stuff from good designers for less than $10 per article? Clothes look relatively new and they're not torn up or damaged? Then WEAVE is your best bet. I love this thrift store, it's my secret to affordable dressing and honestly, I don't want more people finding out about this place and becoming competition to the selections here LOL but this place deserves a shout out so I have to write a review. I got a jewel toned summer dress here (~$4), and a 100% silk Ann Taylor dress (~$8). I also regularly find cute tops made of 100% cotton (~$2-$4). It's very hard to find good material clothing like silk or 100% cotton (particularly pima cotton) at thrift stores, let alone ones still in good shape, but that seems to be the norm at WEAVE for a modest price. It's even cheaper than the fake polyester stuff at Goodwill that are sold for $6 each, and forget about finding new stuff at Target. Why go to Target for a $20 dress when you get a $4 one here and then get it tailored to fit you better? My trick is to get my clothes from here, because they provide a good base, and then get them tailored for even a better, sharper fit. read more

Cool spot! I don't normally go thrifting, but my best friend brought me here the other day because it's one of her favorite thrift stores. It is kept pretty clean compared to other thrift stores. Staff is really friendly. Fitting room is kept decently clean. Not too bad though. Everything is categorized by type, style & size. Very organized. I found a really cute pair of black high waisted shorts that fit perfectly! There was a tag missing on it so I asked one of the employees & she sold it to me for $3.98. What a steal! There's only one register, so when the line gets long, the wait is pretty long but it isn't terrible. My cousin & sister love thrift shopping so I will definitely be taking them here. read more

Caught myself a case of the thrify~bug this weekend and since this lil shop popped up on the Yelp radar & is now located in our new hood, me & the man headed out in search of yet more plant stands or anything that can be used as such as I'm a gardener & need a lot of decorative stands to display them on........ Yes I am on a mission and since I had scored 2 fabulous ones earlier in the day at an impromptu visit to a yard sale I was feeling particularly lucky..... Although we struck out at Weave for my mission I did discover a new shop that when I am in the mood to shop for clothing will be coming back here.... Jeans, tops of all kinds & female formal wear: These are the areas of strengths to Weave Thrift. Jeans, jeans and more jeans...... They have a very unique way I've never seen before in how they hang and display their jeans.... They fold them at an angle so that the back pockets are the first thing you see when you approach the rack... I LOVED this as women tend to look at the backside of a pair of jeans first in order to decide if they want to even try them on.... I know one of the many mystical unexplained freakish natures of womanhood.... Tops of all kinds as well super low priced at $3-6 and in great condition. They organize them by "color" and size... Women also love this as most of the time we tend to have a preset "seek and find" mission when shopping similar to a programed missile..... Although I wasn't in the mood to shop for clothing their prices for clothing including some name brand jeans was off the chain cheap at $9 each or less & in like new & or gently worn condition. Also, if your looking for formal dress-wear and I'm not talking stained, ripped or anything of the sort but intact and really gorgeous dresses this place also has the hook up. I needed a new dress like I needed a hole in my head however 3 dresses in particular had my attention and again, bargain basement priced at $15 or less for each when they clearly sold new for at least $150 each! Blew my mind as I think of the hundreds of dollars women and young girls going to prom and the like pay for these types of dresses only to wear them once..... Weave will now be my first stop whenever I need to shop for a dress..... Glassware: Neatly displayed large volume of glass-wears for sale and unbelievably low priced too! Well organized and displayed. They have a damn decent selection of books too. Didn't buy anything on this trip here as I struck out on my plant stand mission but since we were there did look around to see what they had to offer and will be back when I'm in the mood to shop for clothing as their prices,selection & quality is excellent...... I've never walked outta there empty-handed. Organized well. They even have a small selection of men's and children's clothing . . . . and a few books back in the south 40. I've found a few items with the tags still on . . . wooo whoo. Found out recently that there's some kind of extra discount on Mondays. . . . of course, I've never happened to peruse on Monday. It's kinda small and you won't find doo-dads for the home, or "vintage" goods, unless you look real hard (found me some nice scarves and funky shoes) - be patient and grovel to your boss when you come back from lunch late! - ; mainly women's clothes, both "biz work" attire and casual, shoes, handbags, scarves, and accessories. Cool place and a good cause. Update: Long lunch again, didn't find any clothing (rarely do), but picked up a couple scarves, a couple necklaces, and a funky little wristlet. I always go here to buy clothes for work/job interviews and I ALWAYS find at least one outfit (top, bottom, and shoes) that fits perfectly.
