There was constant turnover -- the hygienist seemed different at nearly every cleaning, and my dentist changed multiple times. With each visit, the overall bedside manner felt less personal and more rushed. There seemed to be little concern about explaining treatment plans or helping elevate concerns I had. What ultimately concerned me most was the treatment planning. After seeking several second opinions, I was told by other dentists that some of the recommended treatment recommendations, including crowns, were aggressive and unnecessary. That raised serious red flags for me. I also began to feel uncomfortable with the front office staff. There was noticeable pressure to agree to additional services, and when I asked questions or declined treatment, the response sometimes felt dismissive. Because of these experiences, I decided it was best to switch providers. I hope they can refocus on consistency, patient communication, and more conservative treatment recommendations in the future.

Removed over the weekend since our kiddo had a long time day weekend, so they called and arranged for us to be seen by an oral surgeon tomorrow. I am seriously blown away by their customer service. They are so kind and helpful! Side note about just walking into their office, walking in and checking in you're greeted by the nicest lady, you step over and it's like you're in a living room area, there is coffee and water in the corner for you to grab as you wait. The dental assistant that helped us was super sweet. She was just so warm and sweet. In the Actual room itself it was so cozy. The vibe there was really amazing. Our dentist Dr. Le came in and helped answer all our questions and the check out lady was also very helpful. We did call on a whim to come to this office, but I think moving forward we will most likely make this our future dental office. Thank you again all of you guys for your help! Since it was my first visit, they did X-rays too. I was told the visit would be $25. I thought I'd be there for an hour. I was there for 2 hours and 15 min. They really should tell you that the first visit is going to be this long so people can plan accordingly. They told me to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment, but I waited a half hour before I left the waiting room. I had already filled out the paperwork online, so there was no need for me to be there so early. The dentist was pleasant and thorough . She did my exam and reviewed the procedures she recommended. Then, the insurance girl came in to talk about what my insurance covers. I told her all I wanted today was the cleaning. For some reason that price was now $75 instead of the $25 they told me it would be when I first arrived. I paid the $75. Finally, the hygienist came in to clean my teeth. She was very friendly and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. On my way out, I noticed they had a sign in the window that said a cleaning, exam, and x-rays was $59 for new patients. I'm not sure why I was charged $75, even with my insurance, if they're only charging other new clients $59. Overall, the medical professionals at this office were professional and competent. The wait time and total visit time took too long. And I feel like I overpaid considering they charged me more with insurance, than they do people without.

That is a huge and very expensive procedure what with the filing down of all of these teeth, even the 3 other healthy ones. So I needed time to consider, do a little research, and get a second opinion. Just when I made the decision to proceed with this big procedure, I received a letter from Dr. Schwartz telling me he's dismissing me as his patient as I'm not following his advice. I was in the process of trying to follow his advice by first doing my due diligence. So now I'm having this procedure done by another local dentist whose staff is kind and respectful, unlike Dr. Schwartz' office manager Jennifer who always exhibited a mean, nasty, and cruel attitude towards me.

After I received my Explanation of Benefits from my insurance, I noticed several issues and called the insurance company to verify. They confirmed that my concerns were valid. The main issue was that my secondary insurance had been billed as the primary insurance. Delta confirmed they had no record of my primary insurance on file, only a note stating that I had another insurance plan. I worked with a Delta representative, and they explained that everything would need to be resubmitted either by the dental office or through a claim filed by me. When I brought this to the office staff's attention, I was not looking for an argument. I was simply trying to point out the issue so they could review it and correct the billing. Unfortunately, the staff became defensive and rude. That experience is what ultimately caused me to lose trust in the office after being a patient there for five years. To be clear, this review is not about the doctor's performance. My concern is strictly with the billing process and the way the office staff handled the situation. A billing mistake can happen, but how it is addressed matters. Patients should feel heard and respected when they bring forward legitimate concerns.
