We hired them to get rid of some rodents, my son heard them in his bedroom wall.Otis just sealed off the furnace room which is right next to my son's The rats came back, and when Otis came out and looked at the traps, they were untouched, so clearly the rats were not getting in from the place that they charged us thousands of dollars to seal. The next thing they did was charge several more thousands of dollars to seal up holes that they thought they saw from underneath the house. i'm guessing we spent probably $4000 or $5000 by this time. This did not solve the problem. I called them back again, Otis came out again, and this time he said that they were jumping on the roof and that we should cut the trees back. We did so. Otis looked on the roof and sealed up anything he could find. But this did not solve the problem. My son continuously reported to me that he kept hearing the rats in his wall. When I would tell this company this situation, they would say oh we don't open walls. Well, if they don't open walls, why did they keep looking at other places when that's where my son reported hearing them? They weren't coming in from the furnace room which cost us thousands of dollars. They weren't coming in from the roof which also cost us thousands of dollars. They weren't coming in from under the house, which cost us several more thousands of dollars. And guess what the rats are still there. I contacted the company yet again, why I have no idea since they clearly can't fix the problem, but I wanted to get them the benefit of the doubt. This time, they had the audacity to say, will seal it up and will guarantee it and it'll be perfect and it'll cost you another $2250 I contacted them and said you guys said it would be perfect and wonderful and sealed up before, the last three times I hired you and Mark laughed and said oh you know we don't open walls. He actually laughed, incredible. They seem to think I would actually hire them again. I'm considering small claims court. In any event folks, save yourselves a lot of grief, and don't hire this company under any circumstances. I have a feeling some of the other five star reviews were relatives of theirs, trying to help them get their rip off business on wheels.

We were enrolled in the "gold package" and we were charged $200 and $49 every quarter automatically. When we were not serviced we were still automatically charged. Very unreliable and spiderwebs and other insects would still be very much present after services. We Hired Mohawk on thumbtack and when I reached most recently with my concerns it shows the company as no longer available. We were not able to get in contact with anyone and our card was still being charged for services we hadn't received. We had to go through the trouble of canceling our card and getting a new card.

This company was the only one to respond with extensive information regarding the service and method they follow in working towards eradicating the ant issue. We proceeded in hiring them and the gentleman who came over was extremely knowledgeable and educated us on the process. After the first visit we found more ants and he was very responsive. I highly recommend this company. We're very happy with their customer service and how they educate you on how to prevent reinfestation.

They lack accountability and transparency in their work, their reports are not to industry standard and do work that is garbage and not industry standard. The Pest Control board cited them for multiple issues related to the work they did at my home in Moraga. Q Termite does not follow instructions on how to install Hardie siding and they do NOT replace building paper. They claim the building paper is "fine" but don't show pictures to you as the home owner. For what would have been about $40 in building paper, they skimped and didn't replace it to ensure that the work was done correctly. Stay far, far away from this business. They're sketchy and lack integrity.

Every time I speak with her on the phone, my day is brightened a little bit. I don't know if I'm receiving special treatment for my repeat business, but I'm almost always able to schedule inspections within a few days of the call. Jim and his inspector Steve are always on time for their appointments and just as timely with their reports, which typically are available the next business day. Pricing on both their inspections and repair/treatment work as good as any profession is offering. There are larger companies out there who are a bit more tech savvy and have prettier reports, but I wouldn't trade that for the cold impersonal service that comes with them. I greatly prefer the family atmosphere Q provides.

I was referred to J&N services by a good friend and called them instantly. Since we were unable to do laundry efficiently, I told them that it was a pretty big emergency. Luckily, they were able to get someone to our house right away, despite the last minute call. As soon as they walked through the door, we were impressed! They are not only incredibly professional but they are quick and friendly as well. The best part is that I felt like they were really honest and trustworthy which is important in the home services industry. Not only did I feel comfortable letting them in my house, but they informed me about what they were doing throughout the process and taught us why it's dangerous to have dirty dryer vents.
