When the tech guy arrived, he told me he thought the problem might be in the attic (what? so clearly from under the house) and might be mold (what? smelled like dead animal). I never did receive an estimate from them. Then I called Pest#1 - WOW what difference! Otis said that it smelled like there was a dead something under the house. The crawl space is very short/full of ductwork, and the smell was awful. Otis said the tech from the big-name company probably just did not want to do the hard yucky work. Otis put on his gear, and spent half an hour dragging himself through the crawl space looking for the problem. It was grueling, but he just kept at it. Eureka - a really gross large dead rat. You want help from someone who knows how to work to solve your pest problem, can't do better than Pest#1 and Otis.

We hired them to get rid of some rodents, my son heard them in his bedroom wall.Otis just sealed off the furnace room which is right next to my son's The rats came back, and when Otis came out and looked at the traps, they were untouched, so clearly the rats were not getting in from the place that they charged us thousands of dollars to seal. The next thing they did was charge several more thousands of dollars to seal up holes that they thought they saw from underneath the house. i'm guessing we spent probably $4000 or $5000 by this time. This did not solve the problem. I called them back again, Otis came out again, and this time he said that they were jumping on the roof and that we should cut the trees back. We did so. Otis looked on the roof and sealed up anything he could find. But this did not solve the problem. My son continuously reported to me that he kept hearing the rats in his wall. When I would tell this company this situation, they would say oh we don't open walls. Well, if they don't open walls, why did they keep looking at other places when that's where my son reported hearing them? They weren't coming in from the furnace room which cost us thousands of dollars. They weren't coming in from the roof which also cost us thousands of dollars. They weren't coming in from under the house, which cost us several more thousands of dollars. And guess what the rats are still there. I contacted the company yet again, why I have no idea since they clearly can't fix the problem, but I wanted to get them the benefit of the doubt. This time, they had the audacity to say, will seal it up and will guarantee it and it'll be perfect and it'll cost you another $2250 I contacted them and said you guys said it would be perfect and wonderful and sealed up before, the last three times I hired you and Mark laughed and said oh you know we don't open walls. He actually laughed, incredible. They seem to think I would actually hire them again. I'm considering small claims court. In any event folks, save yourselves a lot of grief, and don't hire this company under any circumstances. I have a feeling some of the other five star reviews were relatives of theirs, trying to help them get their rip off business on wheels.

We had a stressful raccoon situation with a mother and baby nesting inside an old electrical box…read morethrough a hole in the exterior of our house. The baby was trapped in the wall shared with our bedroom, and we could hear both the baby and mom at different times. It was very nerve wracking. The mom would come and go, and at one point seemed to leave the baby alone for a day or two. We even hired a general contractor to open the wall to try to find the baby, but we could not locate it. Meanwhile, the raccoon started tearing up parts of the exterior, including a vent. We called several pest control companies, but they all suggested trapping the raccoon which did not help since the baby was still inside the wall. We eventually contacted Wildlife Support, who recommended Tony, and I am so glad they did. Tony responded quickly, came out to assess the situation, and created a thoughtful game plan with us. The next day he returned with a thermal camera to locate the baby and set up a one way trap to safely remove both mom and baby. When the mom figured out how to open the trap and kept going back in, Tony quickly pivoted and came up with another plan. He returned the following day with a smaller trap and a makeshift blocker so we could close the hole immediately once the mom left. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly cared about the animals. His priority was getting them out safely without harming them. He was also friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned for our safety, reminding us to stay away when the raccoon returned and checking in on us often. Not only did he successfully resolve the raccoon situation, he got them out safely and we did not have to open the walls again. He also secured the electrical box opening and sealed other vulnerable areas around our house using quality materials. At no point did we feel upsold or pressured. He truly put us first. There is no one else I would rather call for rodent or wildlife issues. Tony has both Wildlife Support's recommendation and my full stamp of approval.

She said Tom would show up later that day and that we should be patient because traffic was especially bad that day. We waited. He was a no show. We did not hear from them to reschedule. We made 2 subsequent phone calls with no return call from Neighborhood Spiderman. We are extremely disappointed that our pest problem has not been resolved. We cannot recommend this provider due to their lack of professionalism.

Recently we had a very bad skunk smell about a week before Labor Day. Our furnace provider checked…read moreour duct work and confirmed some rodent in our crawlspace. We frantically began our search, but many offered limited services (e.g. prevent but not remove/cleanup) or have no inspectors till after Labor Day. We are glad we found Attical. Their inspector Angie came next day, recommended that we sanitized the crawlspace and covered it in plastic etc. We approved, and next day, their team led by David showed up promptly. During the work, I asked if the deck needs to be checked too. David volunteered to remove a couple of planks and viola - we found the dead skunk right away thanks to his work! After removing it the smell improved dramatically in our house. The work is done well, and they even helped to put wire meshes around my porch and deck to prevent future rodents from coming in. Overall, we are very pleased with their professionalism, quality of work, and promptness.
