When I bought eye contacts from Webeyecare my cart was showing $29.90 for the product including the shipping fee, although my credit card was charged an extra $17.48 for a processing fee that was not disclosed upfront. The processing fee appeared only after they charged my credit card which was a surprise for me. I was not happy about this undisclosed and illegal practice and cancelled my order, furthermore because the customer service agent didn't acknowledge the practice they are doing. To me the wait is worth it. I have consistently ordered from Webeyecare for 3 years. Website is easy to use and I've always been able to easily contact customer service by chat, phone or email. Prices are consistently lower than normal, comparing them to my local eye doctor. Shipping can take a little bit but it's free shipping! Want it faster pay for it, it's still affordable. I was hesitant initially too, I just purchased a small 6 pack contacts first. I do not suggest using them and free shipping option if you are in a bind. Also have your prescription uploaded with all needed info like doctors contact information, their license number. Things that will make it easier for them to verify it. This is excerpted from my PayPal dispute, of which I just received my full refund. These guys are crooks, liars, and sneaky as heck. Learn from my mistake of trusting them and run away... I placed this order on 03 April, and they promised to ship within 24 hours. They charged me for the purchase immediately. I had not received shipment confirmation on 08 April, so I called them. I was told that part of my order was unavailable, so they were going to refund that part of the order. They promised that the rest would be shipped that day (08 April) with expedited shipping. On 09 April, I received an email saying that the contacts were on backorder. (They should not have processed my payment if the items were on backorder.) I called today, 12 April, and was told that they were not on back order, and they were shipping today, but they could not give me the expedited shipping. I was very upset, as I need these contacts asap--I am out of contact lenses. I ordered them from this company because they promised 24 hour turnaround and quick shipping. I told this person that I wanted a refund and to cancel the order. She said that she could not cancel the order as it was shipping today. They also said they had not processed the promised refund, but would do it today. I called back, asking for tracking information. I talked to a different person (Felix), who said that the contacts are not in stock, and had not been shipped (contradicting what I had just heard a few minutes earlier). He said that there were no notes on my account from the previous rep. This person confirmed that no refund had been initiated. This person reiterated that the contacts were backordered with no estimated time to replenish stock. I told the representative that I wanted to stop the order and get my money refunded (ALL of it). This representative promised to call me back with updated information by close of business today, 12 April. It is past close of business, and I received no call, and no email. read more

Was told my item is in transit but don't have tracking and won't have tracking for another 24 hours. Can't cancel the order because it's "pending." Customer service repeats cue card responses. Totally unhelpful. Tried to blame the whole verify prescription nonsense. I told them my order said it was ready to ship 3 days ago (which meant they had already verified prescription). I think this is a drop ship type company that pays for one of those call centers that has no contact with anyone real in the company. So here I wait with only 5 days left of my contacts after they gladly took $180 from me. Fingers crossed I get my priority ordered contacts before 10 days total. Oh, website said orders process in 24 business hours, whatever that means. UPDATE: They told me my order was in transit, before above written review, and that's why I couldn't cancel my order. Just got shipping information. Label wasn't created until 3 hours after I wrote the review. Apparently UPS Ground is their priority shipping. It's shipping from across the country. I Googled shopping Alcon's Precision 1 contacts and there were only a few companies listed, none of which were familiar to me. I looked up each o option and webeyecare.com offered the 2 things most important to me: availability/price of the contacts I needed and speed of delivery. I got a great discounted price for the contacts (at least 20% less than what I would have paid using my optometrist) and next day delivery. I quickly and easily uploaded my son's prescription, clicked on the fastest delivery option (a surcharge over the free option with slower delivery but worth every penny), and easily checked out. When I got the confirmation email, it incorrectly mentioned that I got free shipping. I immediately clicked on the chat option on the website to let them know that I had paid extra for shipping to get the fastest delivery possible. Unfortunately, they were closed for the day but I received an email from them first thing next morning apologizing for the confusion and confirming that in fact I was getting expedited shipping. I am very pleased with how quickly they responded to my email, the speed with which they delivered the contacts, the ease of use of their website, and the accuracy of the order. I will definitely order from them again. I was offered $5 refund in my purchase of I left a review (yet another thing that impressed me given that pretty much every company I've ordered from wants me to take surveys, answer questions, leave reviews but never compensates me for the time I take to help them improve their offerings.
