About 7:40 am I heard the roll up doors going up. I got out and told the guy opening the doors that I was there for a smog test. He told me that he would smog my car right away and that it wouldn't take long. I handed him my keys and he did the rest. \ I sat on a chair in the office area while the test was performed. The test took about 7 minutes and at 7:50 am I was on my way home. It doesn't get any better than this. The technician was friendly, courteous and professional. They have very little physical space, so you should be prepared to pick up your car as soon as it's done. Called around and was getting prices of $200 to $340. Called Larkins and was told fixing a flat was $40...a bit more if they need to clean things. I drove over and within 30 minutes had a fixed tire. And highly detailed and professional work! $10 for the cleaning, so $50 out the door! The tire had uneven wear, so need to go back for rotation and alignment...will be back at Larkins tomorrow for that!

First, I want to say they were responsive. They were able to take me on a Saturday with about an…read morehours notice. They were also kind and respectful. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend them. I went in with a check engine light and $150 diagnosis later was told I needed to replace an engine part related to my EVP system. The part would probably be cost $100-$150 and with labor and taxes they said probably around $3-400. I left actually happy that It was likely to cost under $500. I got home and checked online for the errors they had recorded and found that the most common cause is a lose, cracked, or missing gas cap. I checked my gas cap, and it was in fact a little loose. My check engine light didn't turn off, so I thought maybe it was still an issue as they said, then I read online that the check engine light has to be reset. It won't turn off automatically after a problem is fixed. I ordered an OBD reader from amazon, checked it. Got the same error codes, erased the error codes and low and behold - no more light. Been driving it for 2 days and no light has come back on. $150 to get the wrong diagnosis would have been ok if it was a life lesson. But $150 to then be told I needed to replace something that didn't need to be replaced and would cost an additional couple of hundred bucks seems less than honest to me.
