OK, I'd give it a 4 stars if the bathroom was cleaner. It was awful, and it makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen. If my mother-in-law saw a bathroom that filthy in a restaurant, she would walk out immediately. That being said, I've tried the patty melt, chili dog and the Big Ben burger. The patty melt was remarkably tasteless. I would not order it again. The Big Ben burger is a very good burger, with leaf lettuce, not the shredded kind you get almost everywhere else. The combos are very cheap, especially if you go on their special day, then they are $1.00 off. But, hey, for $6.99 for the combo, which includes fries and a drink, you don't have to wait for Monday or Tuesday when the price gets dropped by a buck. My wife, surprisingly, ordered the chili dog. She loved both the taste of the dog, which was a little spicey, and she loved the chili, which was not spicey, but flavorful. However, they have hot sauce that is wonderful, so you can use it to spice up the chili, if you want. Sadly, for my wife, when we went a second time, she ordered the chili dog, only to be told they were out of chili. Come on, it was Monday around noon, they shouldn't be out of chili. Yes, I'd come back, and I would recommend it to friends, but don't go into the bathroom. A tip. If you get a drink, they will give it to you in one of those red plastic cups. This burger stand has the best burgers in town. Never have we had a complaint about lunch or dinner here. The owners are so friendly and are very polite. They have a car show every Friday evening which is so cool giving back to the community. I'd give this place 10 stars if it allowed me to. Midway between Mariposa and San Francisco this is a great place to stop for lunch. Probably the best patty melt I've ever had and it didn't hurt that since it was Monday this was the Monday special and you get a patty melt fries and a soda for 599 but even at 999 it would've been a fair price for the quality of this meal.Highly recommended even if the outside appearance is not super modern his convenience to the highway and parking in addition to the great food make for a worthwhile stop. read more

This is the place to come for burgers. Best burgers hands down and the friendliest staff. My boyfriend used to come here all the time when he worked downtown. So he got to know the staff pretty well. Since he switched jobs, we haven't gone in there too much. But we went there tonight and it was the best time we have been there. The food was delicious as always. The cook, Tina, came out to us, shook hands, and asked how we've been and talked to us for a few minutes while she didn't have food going. She knew my boyfriend by face and told him it was good to see him. She even knew his order before he ordered it. They definitely take time to get to know their customers and give great service. My wife and I are huge fans of Scenic Drive-In (a similar burger joint located nearby as well) and had heard great things about Web's Drive-In. It certainly did not disappoint!! Of course, the location is a little sketchy - especially at night - and my wife and I quickly decided to simply get the order "to-go". :-) The interior is clean and retro-looking (which I thought added to the awesomeness of the experience) and the staff (husband and wife, I'm assuming) were polite and friendly. My wife ordered the "Southwestern Combo" and I had the "Big Boss Combo" - both excellent burgers: delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The fries were hands-down incredible...and the reason we wanted to try Web's in the first place. My suggestion: order them extra-crispy. We had a tip from my mother-in-law that they are "to die for" when they're made extra-crispy, so we got one order that way and the other just standard. I agree with her - they are "to die for"!!! We will definitely be adding this to our "favorite retro-fast food" places. read more

The food is really good and the staff is really nice but the restaurant looks vary ghetto holes in the wall and you have to ask for a key to use a vary unsanitary bathroom but other than that I would highly suggest the chicken strips. read more

This place is okay. The burger wasn't that great for $7.50. It's definitely too expensive and there's nothing special about it. The fries didn't taste home-made at all. It smells terribly oily/greasy in there...not in a good way either. I won't be coming back. read more
