Over the years, Dr. Wells never made us feel like just another appointment. He always took the time to truly listen, to explain, to reassure, and to care in a way that felt personal and genuine. As a parent, that kind of consistency and compassion is something you never forget. It feels like we are closing a long and meaningful chapter. My son is grown now, which is a milestone filled with pride and emotion on its own, but it's made even more poignant knowing we are also saying goodbye to a doctor who has been part of our lives for nearly two decades. Due to insurance changes and my son aging out of pediatric care, we are moving on, but we do so with immense gratitude. Both David and Dr. Perez worked to get us the required vaccinations for the lowest possible cost, even though that meant that they didn't make any money by giving her the vaccines themselves. They clearly want to help people through the residency application process and their kindness and compassion is both remarkable and very much appreciated! His voice/tone: direct. The call was super quick but truly informative that highlights David's systematic approach. I asked for the soonest available appointment and confirmed. I then received a text from him with the address and documents I need to bring. On the day of the appointment, we thought I'll be late so I called the office but ended up being early even. Considering that I said I'll be late, I assume David wanted to be productive during the time that I said I won't be there yet, so he started another task. Truly understandable. He still accommodated me and dropped that task he was doing. I really commend this Medical Office as they are pragmatic and warm. They have required me to come in for multiple appointments just to state this and they refused to prescribe me my medications otherwise. Of course, I get a $500 bill after insurance for a short chat about how I have 2 prescriptions and I'd love to get them refilled. I inquired about the bill being so high, they passed me around from department to department, sent me chasing after answers to what I was getting billed for on my bill. No one could come up with an answer, the finance department couldn't match the codes on my bill to any of their documents. They reduced my bill to shut me up and then a year later asked me to do the same thing again. The worst part is, the number of times I've had to wait for them to refill my prescription. Here I am going off anti-depressants abruptly again because they can't do the most basic aspect of their jobs and I get no response when I call. Jody Gorman is my NP and I've never been assigned an MD. I am over this place, it's a sham.

But it shouldn't have taken 3 weeks to resolve the issue. Horrible communication and inability to correct a mistake on their end. I needed a TB test for grad school and a lot of urgent cares didn't take insurance for the test. When I made the appointment on June 4th, the person I spoke with said they take my insurance. When I arrived for the test on June 8th, I was told the test wasn't covered by insurance and was $69. Since I needed the test for school, I just paid the fee and it was a little lower than some other places. However, they should have told me at the time of booking so I could have been prepared to pay or go elsewhere. The bigger issue is that they haven't refunded the $50 fee I was charged when I filled out my information online. The online portal just asked for my card info but nowhere did it say I'd be charged a fee. When I went to get my results read on 6/10/26, I showed the receptionist a screenshot from my bank account and she said that was a no show fee and they would refund it since I showed up to my scheduled appointments. When I check my bank account two days later, I don't see the refund. I've made several calls and the people I talk to keep saying they'll look into the issue yet my bank account doesn't show the refund. One person I talked to said I shouldn't have been charged the NSF because I had a TB test, not appt. It shouldn't take 3 weeks to refund the fee and am seriously considering taking City Health to small claims court. The person who did my TB test was friendly but I would not go back to City Health due to the above issues.

The receptionist was super nice, I was able to get an appointment that very day and once I came in everyone was so nice. They quickly got me inside and the nurse was very nice and attentive to all my symptoms. The doctor is quite the funny guy he cracks jokes as soon as he walks in, which is awesome but also I feel like it stops him from listening to me and taking me seriously but at the same time was funny enough to make me feel comfortable. He sent me away with some antibiotics and some lab work. I didn't get my lab results back until about a week later (even tho I remember him saying I would get them 2 days later) and when I called nobody got back to me I had to call again and speak to the receptionist directly. Overall I would recommend this office the receptionist/nurse is great the doctors pretty good. No real complaints but also nothing crazy.
