I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track. There's a trend on social media about "wedding regrets" and my husband and I keep saying to eachother thankfully that we have zero regrets. Every vendor was amazing and the planning team really went above and beyond what was asked of them and for that I'm forever grateful. Since we were the second group out pace was not an issue. We made it in at a respectable 4hr 15 mins but never felt rushed during the round. No fog the day we played so it made the day that much better. Looking forward to coming back to play here again some day.

Poor course conditions and repeated harassment from marshals over pace of play that was never…read moreactually a problem. I played Los Verdes yesterday and am writing this review because of how our group was treated by course marshals, not the course itself. We started off well. The starter offered us a re-tee after a mishit, which we declined so as not to hold up play. The twosome ahead of us was moving quickly, which created a natural gap between our group and theirs. That gap was created by the group ahead, not by us, and it should not have been treated as our issue to solve. On the 8th hole, a marshal checked in and confirmed we were on pace, a few minutes behind the two hour mark, nothing of concern. That interaction was professional and appreciated. Shortly after, a second marshal approached and asked us to pick up the pace due to the gap ahead. We agreed without pushback, despite having just been told by the first marshal that we were fine. Then, on that same hole, as we were walking up to the green, a third marshal approached and told us we were two holes behind and needed to speed up immediately. Three marshals, three different messages, all within a single hole. At that point this was no longer pace-of-play management, it was harassment. When I said as much, the marshal responded by threatening to make us skip a hole entirely, which is not an acceptable way to speak to a paying customer, particularly one who was not behind. For context, we finished our round in 4 hours and 20 minutes, a completely normal pace for an 18 hole round. The claim that we were significantly behind simply was not true. Course conditions were also disappointing. Fairways were in poor shape, greens were worn down, and overall maintenance looked neglected. Landscaping crews and tree removal work were active in the middle of fairways around 9:30am, creating noise and disruption during play. We later noticed a tournament being set up, which likely explains the excessive pressure to move us through, it felt like we were being rushed off the course to make room rather than being treated as customers. Pace of play is a legitimate concern at any course, but sending three marshals to pressure one group within a single hole, over a gap that group did not create, is not reasonable. Combined with subpar course conditions, this made for a frustrating experience and poor value for the green fee paid. Management should review how marshals are communicating with golfers and ensure the staff is coordinated and professional, not contradictory and confrontational.

Simply put, the best way to work with her is to tell her what you want, let her do her thing, and keep in touch along the way. Following this model, she has helped her clients give wonderful parties. I write this review as one who has assisted her on several events. As for Rachel S.'s review -- well, the woman is an anomaly among Julie's clients. And I know whence I speak. To say she was trying to deal with would be putting it lightly. She was already anxious and behind schedule when she hired Julie. As far as her invitations were concerned, she sent the assignment without a clear definition of what she wanted but was ready with complaints when it didn't come out right. She also assigned Julie to mail the invitations for her but didn't bother to supply a return address. When it came to planning the actual event, if Julie disagreed with her on even smaller points, such as floral arrangements -- well, she didn't take disagreement too well. This review may sound like back-biting, but I assure all of you other readers that this is not what I intend. I simply mean to caution you that Rachel S., I think, represents the exception. Those who bring Julie ideas of what they want -- with enough time to get them -- and the confidence to let her do what she does well will not be disappointed.

I am both a young professional and a student, so I did not have an overwhelming budget. She was not overbearing or annoying, either. I told her what I was going for and she completely made it happen without having to call me 50 times per day! The food was spectacular, perhaps the best party food I've ever had. All of my party guests went out of their way to compliment the delicious food, especially the appetizers! They were so well-presented too! They looked like edible art! Julie made sure the music and the decorating were perfect, too. By the end of the night, everybody was dancing. As for the bar, well, Julie knew exactly what to serve so that all of my party guests were happy. I'm not much of a drinker, so I had no idea what to buy. She even hired a funny, friendly bartender to keep my guests entertained and their glasses full. If you are thinking of planning a party, definitely call Julie Brown first!
