Ingrid did my haircut today. The haircut itself was fine, I would give it a 7/10. But the customer service she provided was pretty wack. She talked so much during the haircut that there were times she would stop cutting my hair for minutes at a time just to finish her sentence. It was nice that she was chatty, but I didn't appreciate that it slowed down the process. When she was finished, I asked her to cut my bangs shorter as I had mentioned when she first sat me down. This made her so upset, the entire vibe changed. It was awkward, off putting, and I could tell she was mad. I was confused as to why, because I was nice about it and really, just simply asked for my bangs to be shorter. I dunno. It was weird. When the bangs were done, she immediately just walked to the register without another word. I wish I hadn't left a tip. I definitely will not be coming back to this salon. read more

I went in to see what kind of perm might work for my hair. The gal I saw, Michelle, just said "regular perm" which surprised me since I'd been told by stylist friends that there are different kinds for different hair (mine is colored). I showed her reference photos, and the experience while I was there was fine. She was really nice and friendly. But the result is so bad. It's not curly, just sort of an uneven kinky wave and totally straight in some places, even two days later (I did not wash it until 48 hours later). I would go back and ask her to fix it but I don't feel good trusting her with my hair again. I'm really disappointed. read more

It was my first haircut with Ingrid at Wedgwood hair studio. She was nice, friendly & understood what i wanted. She suggested that i should go with layers for volume. I had a layer haircut up to the length of ears. After the final finish my hair were awesome. I recommend Ingrid. The price was also reasonable at 50$ where as i have seen salons charging 100$ for a haircut. read more

Tried this hair studio 3 cuts ago, wanted to explore another option and this placed was utilized by my 2 sisters in law. Ingrid was the hairstylist I accessed. Initially she was pleasant, welcoming and seemed to understand how I wanted my haircut (1st cut was good). Second cut I had some concerns which were back left side tapering and spots on both sides appeared chopped and not blended. On my 3rd haircut, I provided feedback about my 2nd cut. This experience, 3rd visit, was very weird, different from my previous visits. Ingrid was non conversant, responded with dead end conversations and minimal to no engagement. A complete 360 from my previous 2 haircuts. It felt awkward, stifling and I just wanted to get out of there. I also felt like Ingrid just wanted to get my cut done and send me on my merry way. In my previous encounters, Ingrid noted that she would put in the computer on my account my haircut details. This 3rd experience didn't reflect what we had discussed before. Although, she had me check my cut via mirror, my hair was not fully dry nor combed out. As I referenced earlier about my discomfort, I just wanted to leave. Got home, combed my hair out and wow, I was left with a "shelf cut" on my left side, "no blend/tapering!" Unbelievable! Guess I will continue searching for a hairstylist, I will "never" to back to this hair studio. I am on a trip from England and booked an appointment two weeks in advance to have foils and restyle. The girl who look care of me (I think her name was Teren) listened to what I wanted and did a really good job with the cut and coulour ......just wish I had had my roots done too as still had grey roots when I left. Shame about the fluorescent lighting as my hair colour didn't look good in it! My husband said it's the best cut I've had for years .....if I lived in Seattle I would definitely go there again and book with the same lady (Teren?) Just one criticism .....I tried to communicate (twice) via email two weeks before I left for the states but didn't receive a reply - no matter as I'm happy with the result. Susan read more

Please DO NOT get any services done by a stylist by the name of INGRID! She is awful and a con artist! My Teenage nephew went in to get his hair colored. He showed her the picture of the color and even a video. She quoted him $160 total for the color. After she bleached his hair she told him he has to come back again so she can finish up his color for another $160! It's his first time so he doesn't know. He left with this god awful bleached color. Two days later he called me to ask if this sounds right because right before his second appt she called to tell him it would be $260 and not $160 to finish his hair color. This is when I called and Ingrid and told what I thought of her business practice. She apologized and said she would be happy to finish up his hair and he doesn't need to pay her. When she finished his hair she tried to make him pay the $160! He called me and I said put her on the phone but I could hear her say no it's ok. The audacity of this person. She has no scruples and morals trying to take advantage of a teenager multiple times! If you come across my review do not use her services. You have been warned. Don't go here. Came in for a simple buzz cut/fade. Gal couldn't even blend my hair. I had to ask for her to try a little more, so she grabbed the size in between the two sizes I asked for- looks pretty bad. I'll have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. read more

I went in for a trim and 45 minutes later left with almost nothing taken off despite asking twice to do more than snipping ends. More talking than cutting, and I left questioning whether she really had professional training. read more

I've been coming to Wedgwood for about a year and I love it. Kym is amazing. She always listens to what you want and gives options when you're in doubt. I always ask for her opinion on what I should do with my hair next because I trust that whatever happens, she'll make it look awesome. She takes notes on what she does with my cut and color so we can reference it in the future. The studio is clean, people are friendly, environment has that "local" feel. I was very happy with my service here today. I was a walk in and with a child in a stroller, I appreciated that they didn't turn me away. I kept him quiet and entertained with snacks so that Sheila could work with me on a haircut that would look both stylish and appropriate to maintain with a toddler. I'll be back to have my hair colored with her in a few weeks because as with any relationship, you build trust. She won mine, by both allowing me to be there with my child and then giving me a wonderful cut that makes me feel well kept again! I have found my neighborhood salon, that now when my son naps I can pop in with an appointment ahead of time and not spend too much travel to get there and back. Great colorist! Kimm at Wedgwood Hair Studio has been taking care of my hair for years and doing a fabulous job. I live in the neighborhood and my first visit was a "help my last stylist ruined my hair and I haven't found a new stylist" visit. The girls at the coffee shop next door had suggested Kimm. I was really impressed, she is very professional and has an good eye. There's no reason for me to look elsewhere. Also the price is very fair. read more

Super friendly, super cute, super reasonably priced. Had to take off one star for the fluorescent lighting, though. Makes hair color look awful, and throws dark shadows under your eyes.
