From the moment I engaged them for weed control services, I've had nothing but problems with Weed Man, but those issues reached a crescendo this week, as documented by the attached series of photos. Their technician arrived at my home at 3:48pm, left a door hanger at 3:50pm, was still at my home at 3:53pm, and was gone by 3:57pm. Somewhere in that 9 minutes, I am told, he applied "early spring weed control" to my 1/3 acre lot--not a respray, an application--all without setting off either of my side yard cameras or either of my back yard cameras or alerting me, working from home, to his presence. Amazing. Magical. Worth $92, apparently. I called customer service, explained, and asked to cancel my service. A polite gentlemen named Nick assured me that this "senior technician" had literal footage of him treating my yard and that I would receive it via email in 15-20 minutes. Not so much. During that 20 minute interval, I pulled the attached photos from my front-facing cameras and correlated timestamps because NTP time strata sometimes drift. Did I say 20 minutes? I meant an hour. Having received nothing and no contact, I called back and spoke to an even nicer woman named Marie who, pleasant as she was and insistent she would "make it right," finally relented to cancel my service when I insisted for the 750th time that a lack of trust means a lack of business. If you are happy with their service, wonderful. But if my photos give you pause, take my recommendation: caveat emptor! read more

I stopped using Weed Man after many years as a customer because of a very disappointing experience. During a lawn treatment service, the technician dragged my child's bicycle through the hose/spreader equipment instead of simply moving it out of the way. When I politely asked him to move the toy to prevent damage, he responded aggressively and said it was "not his business" to take care of toys on the property. The situation became even worse when I contacted management to report the incident. Instead of addressing the technician's behavior, they defended him and claimed he was "afraid" to come back to my property -- which made no sense considering he was the one using foul language, including F-words, during our interaction. After being a loyal customer for many years, I expected much better professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left me no choice but to cancel my service. read more

Our lawn is absolutely destroyed from whatever they did to it this last round of treatment. The first year had the lawn looking good, but this year we have had periodic issues with them with spots here and there. However, this last treatment was the final straw causing burns all over the yard. They give no warning when they come, so expect to see someone just show up. They also make it a nightmare to cancel their service, so do your lawn a favor and pick another company. read more

We used Weed Man Lawn Care for over one year, and the weeds were never eliminated despite ongoing treatments. There was no meaningful improvement in our lawn after giving their service more than enough time. When we raised concerns, they claimed the lawn issues were due to fungus and patches and recommended aeration and topsoil. However, the affected area is in the backyard, while their team only serviced the front yard. They quoted and billed for the entire lawn, including areas that were never treated. After we disputed this, Weed Man acknowledged that their representative made a mistake in quoting and billing the entire lawn, yet they never corrected the service or the charges. Instead, the account was sent to collections. To make matters worse, the collection agency was rude, impatient, and unwilling to listen, repeatedly demanding payment for services that were not performed as agreed. This experience shows a lack of accountability and poor customer service. I would not recommend Weed Man Lawn Care due to ineffective treatments, admitted errors, and unfair collection practices They billed for the entire lawn, later admitted it was a mistake, but never fixed the service or charges. Instead, they sent the account to collections. Very poor accountability and customer service. Not recommended. read more

This is the worst lawn service I have used over the last 17 years. They rep told me they were the best and I would have golf course grass in no time. They did my first weed treatment on 3/6. I didn't have many at the time. 1 week later I reached out and said the weeds have gotten worse. They told me to give it another 1-2 weeks. Waited 2 more weeks and reached out again. They said they would give me a free weed treatment. When they finally confirmed the day of 4/7 they no showed. I texted my rep and he didn't respond. I also paid $130 for aeration and you could barely tell it was done bc the guy was going so fast. read more

Lawn care is not an easy thing and so when I finally was sick and tired of being sick and tired of looking at a shabby yard, I gave WeedMan a call. I may have had the weediest of weeded lawns, but thankfully WeedMan is bringing it back. Honestly, I truly had more non-grass than grass when they began. Don't get me wrong, it's been a process, as recovery from trash to treasured is about as speedy as watching grass grow, but the impossible is happening before my eyes. I now have a flourishing lawn!! I initially called and spoke with Deanna Freeman, whom I've since had multiple chats with, each time being an absolute delight. She's always available to walk me through the process and suggest various improvements, and always with a chipper attitude. We've actually laughed a bunch over the last year. Their technician is always a friendly dude who cares for my lawn like it's his own. Billing has been efficient, and the online portal letting me know what treatments to expect next and when to expect it has been very helpful. I even get a text a day or so in advance keeping me in the loop. When I tell you! These folks saved my lawn. I use to envy beautiful luxurious greens lawns, now my neighbors envy me. Truth be told, the results DO NOT happen over night. After the first application, you will notice the weeds dying, but you got to be in the game for a minute ( as in a year ) consistent care both on their part one on yours because it's not just a one person solution. These days, they are automatically in the house budget as a necessity. As it the lawn is repairing, don't abuse by not watering or cutting as they recommend.
