This company is a sham. I paid for 1 year of service and all they wanted to do is up-sell me in additional services. My lawn developed severe crab crass and despite calling them to correct the area they did not come out as they claim they will when they sell you the service. They even tried to sell me grub control service in October. Any intelligent person would know that grubs are present in the spring until they hatch as beetles. The real issue is they will not stop harassing me with phone calls for their service. They constantly call and despite me blocking their numbers they continue to robocall me. Don't do it. read more

Our experience with Weedman has been AWFUL! We had more striving weeds, in our lawn after multiple treatments with them, than before we started the Weedman service. The techs are only interested in upcharging you for extra services, not really addressing your lawn concerns. Weedman had an excuse for everything. There was No holding anyone accountable because 'someone new' was always doing the lawn treatment. We stopped our service months ago yet Weedman keeps calling, it seems like weekly, even though we have TOLD them to STOP Calling. Do not use this service, absolutely horrible. I had man come control the weed at my house and after their first treatment all of my grass started dying. I called weed man customer service and they said that they would check back the next day. When they came they said that the grass was completely dead and said it was due to insects. I have lived in the same house for 3 years and my grass were always fine and we had another professional come check the grass and said that the grass had died due to an overuse of chemicals. It also affected a neighbor of mine and the chemicals that killed my grass started affecting their lawn and killed their grass. We called many times and each time they pushed the problem and responsibility on something else and were unwilling to take responsibility and action to fix this problem. Everyone is blaming Covid 19 for all their failures this year.My lawn looks worse than it has looked in 20 years. Rarely sprayed the back yard, received frequent sales calls and sales visits to my home to purchase their additional services.

A few years ago I gave them high score however as time passed by, their level of customer service went down and down hil. I think I had five occurences where the recording said that they'll call me back and they never did. My technition even paged his manager to call me - Nada! In short, the only way for me to "punish" Weedman (and I truly don't want to punidsh them, it's just a phrase), is to recomend doing bussiness elsewhere. This is not high tech. They blamed the new sod and said it would take some time to get the weeds until control. It's not been two years and we have more weeds than ever. We are also the only yard on the street with weeds. Absolutely terrible.. 5 people on our block had Weedman and now they are down to only one person.. and he too is thinking of cutting them. In less than 7 months we have been through 5 different techs. Meghan the first Tech was fantastic always came out, always worked with the people on our block ,, just a great Tech. I had to call multiple times for follow-up service and one time given a 2 week wait time because of some half A;; excuse about waiting to reapply the weed treatment.. it was never done right the first time and weeds continued to grow. To compare I used an over the counter weed spray on one portion and weeds died within 2 days.. 2 weeks later Weedman spray nothing on specific weeds! I have called their office 3 times and the recording claimed someone would call you back before the end of the day.. still waiting.. so we have cancelled and waiting for our refund.. Oh... also from day one they wanted to "upsell " you on services some phone operator had no clue what you had done or what your property was about..even the first 2 Techs knew this was a bad practice. I was happy with the weed control. Yard was 95% weed free. Not happy with, calls from pushy salespeople trying to up-sell other products and services. Not happy with, 31 messages in my inbox none of them mentioning my pre-paid amount had reached the limit. If you can send me messages and call me to up-sell product why would you not take the time to call me about billing on my account. I spoke with a manger in the Roswell office about this. During our dialogue he asked me...if he pre-paid for ongoing service work to his vehicle would I continue once the the prepaid amount had been reached. (I'm a diesel mechanic) My answer to him was, absolutely not. Why would I risk performing service and using product that I had not been given express authorization for? Boilerplate: Nice people, working together to FAIL anyway. They are nearly certain to disappoint, make unrealistic promises and ultimately waste a lot of your time and money. I should have listened to my gut long ago. Numerous attempts and promises to kill weeds: It seemed the weeds prospered, rather than died ... absolute clown show. Techs aren't "trained", except to recommend services they provide and up-sell. At long last, I wanted to cancel, and of course they aggressively pursued their "customer retention" protocol, with their manager Anthony promising to achieve the goal as early as that week. That was 10/13 ... nothing happened that week nor the next, and possibly the next (but by then it's too late anyway - I had made other arrangements). Then I got a robo-call about my next scheduled service for aeration BEFORE the weeds had even been killed - a progression agreed upon back on 10/13. I called to cancel all future services. Then guys showed up at my house the next week anyway to aerate; unannounced by either schedule or robocall. I told them in-person to cancel everything (11/2). Then I got another robocall for services scheduled the following day, and I called to cancel that and all future services (11/3-Ashley, 3:45PM). Then I got another robocall THAT SAME DAY for the following day, and I called to cancel all future services (spoke with Casey 11/3 again at 5:05PM). All assured me it would be handled - the hold times for their Cust Serv can be substantial. Texts don't get you a person or a callback - Bush League. On 11/5, I got another robocall informing me of my next service the following day, and I called back to cancel all future services (unnamed female, 11/5, 3:37PM). Then, on 11/9 around 3PM, I got another robocall informing me of my scheduled services the following day (today). I called back, spoke with Caitlyn on 11/10 at about 10AM, and she assures me it'll be handled. I paid them their final invoice, which they ROUNDLY don't deserve, and am glad to be shut of them. It's worth the money to watch my weeds grow in peace. In short, maybe you like them, but they're NOT going to do any good for you either (I have a friend who is dissatisfied with them too). Do you really have the time to risk this 5-call SAGA (a sideshow, at best) should you experience the same dissatisfaction as me? Just go with a reputable company. Believe me, you don't have time or energy for the aggravation. They're nice, and that earns a handshake and a smile, but not your hard-earned money...plus, the totally messy breakup. Posting again here, as Weed Man continues to not contact me. Notice the post from Ashleigh in my last review. States to contact them so they can resolve this. I did by doing as she said and emailed Ashleigh multiple times. Never a single response. I called on 12/28 and was advised my balance is zero and my services are cancelled (Weed Man check your recordings). Then received a statement dated Jan 18 that I owe $77.37. Most frustrating experience ever. Weed Man will recommend services not needed, bill you for services you actually tell them not to deliver. They WILL NOT, SIMPLY REFUSE, to have anyone from management contact you if there is a problem. It doesn't matter if you email, text, or call, they WILL NOT have management contact you. They bill you for Disease Control that you never requested and tell you that it was actually for Surface Insects. Even tell you that Disease Control and Surface Insect treatment are the same thing. The products the company uses do work...HOWEVER...they have an horrendous communications problem. We keep our fenced back-yard locked because of pets, so when they come, an adult has to be present to bring in the dogs and unlock the gates. The scheduling is always a problem for their visits. They hate having to schedule to meet someone, plus I have had to constantly remind the workers of which areas are to be covered, caution them to not leave gate doors open, etc. I finally fired them when they lied to me about having come to do service - and saying I wasn't at home when I was. Bottom line...if you have an easy access yard and won't have to interact with them, go for it. Otherwise, stay far away. read more

I give them 4 stars and not 5 because while their service is fantastic and environmentally friendly I feel like I get too many phone calls. They give reminder calls for service but do not specify which service I am receiving. I also will get several calls from different people at weedman for different things. It seems like they should have 1 person handling my account and scheduling all services and coordinate and consolidate their process. I would prefer 1 email or a simple txt message. I don't have time for so many phone calls. They told me they are correcting this. That being said I feel like they offer good lawn care service and are quick to correct anything they missed and are happy to do a free re-treatment for weeds in between services. This company performed services for us for over 2 years. Every time they came out, they tried to upsell us because of a problem in our lawn which was not covered by their traditional service. We noticed more of our neighbors in our subdivision firing the company because of poor service and upselling. My wife explicitly told them in a call to discontinue their services to us. They showed up again and sent us a bill for the service. Take a moment and examine all the poor reviews about them. I hired Weedman to aerate my lawn. Both times I was not home and both times I trusted them to complete the job that I was charged for. First aeration, I saw areas in my lawn that had not been aerated. I was told to send pictures. I viewed this as an insult and did not comply. Second time, I did not bother to look, because based on my first encounter, I knew that after the second aeration service, I would NEVER call them again. Unfortunately, I had to call because the service man who aerated my lawn the second time, put a gapping hole in my sewer cap. I contacted Weedman and was told that a manager would contact me. Needless to say, that did not happen. I purchased another sewer cap and had it replaced, which caused me a lot of grief. Mind you, more than 24 hours had passed and no one bothered to contact me. Even after I emailed them and told them that I resolved it....still no contact. Ask yourself: Is this the kind of service you would continue to use??? read more

This is an horribly managed business. JUST STAY AWAY. If I could I would give no star at all. I signed up for their service. They said they will have the first treatment within 7-10 days. Noone showed up within that time and I called the customer rep. He did not answer, I left a message. No response over couple of weeks. I called their office. They ensured that they will show up next two days. Nothing happened. I called again after 2 days. This time they said that I am on ASAP list and they will come that day afternoon or latest the next day morning. Nothing happened. Finally I have got hold of the customer rep and said that I would like to cancel my contract. He said that I need to call the office as he is not authorized. I called the office again. As I told the agent that I would like to cancel my contract he just hanged up on me. I called multiple times after that and they answered and just hanged up on me. Finally they answered and said the contract will be cancelled that day and I will get my refund the next Monday. Next Tuesday still no confirmation or any refund on my account. read more

They have some nice service technicians and your yard will look somewhat better but their products are not effective, after 18 months using their service I have fired them because they could never get rid of my crabgrass. Two years in a row, I have had to apply chemicals myself to kill what they couldn't. Did not know it would automatically carry over the next year, instantly billed over $300 for the services that no one even bothered to confirm that I still wanted in 2022. Cannot cancel via the online site which forces you to call them so they can "discount" you into staying. When you still decline and cancel, they will continually call you and each representative will say they will personally monitor your account. After continually telling each representative I was no longer interested, the last guy to call started off jolly until I said I was not interested in coming back and before I could say thank you he hung up in my face. I have been a loyal customer for years and this service has gone down hill over the past 3. They have burned my lawn 3 times only saying we will put some organic treatment down and this will help resolve growth. For the past year and a half i have had to redo my back yard which is fescue. They say well we have to wait till fall to fix. I understand that but now its been almost 1 year and a half and i am still dealing with this same issue. Weedman of Roswell - a frustrating experience. I searched this platform and apparently we're not alone. We ended up choosing Weedman of Roswell for yard fertilization last month. What a mistake.. - Week 1 - Signed up for annual deal - like $400. Said they would be out next week - Week 2 - Nobody shows up, or no sign of them like a little sign in the yard that they had been by. - Week 3 - Call. Yes they will be out next week. Still nobody shows. - Week 4 - Call. Promises they will be out. Nobody. We do get a call saying "hey we noticed you have shrubs that could use trimming - can we sign you up for that service? How would you know that - we can't get you out here!!!! - Week 5 - Call to cancel. Guy argued with my wife saying they would be out. Refused to cancel the service, just keep on with her. We disputed the charge with CC company. What an awful experience. Bunch of clowns. When choosing someone to help, pass on them. I had some neighbors recommend them so I gave them a shot. Original guy was great but he left very quickly. He warned me that they were under new management but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I've been with them for about a year and paid them about $300. My weeds are just as bad as when I started. Finally I decided to leave and when I did I was hassled for about five or 10 minutes on the phone by someone trying to retain my business. I called in before and they gave me the same promise that they would come out for free and fix it and didn't. So this time I had already decided I was gonna leave. But they just keep repeating the same thing over and over again saying that they'll fix it for free. I'd say I'm good I'd like to quit and they kept on saying that they'll fix it for free.
