Awful service and even more terrible, their customer service. The back portion of my lawn was completely ruined because of their neglect, and it's taken months to repair it after I cancelled my service with them. I was very specific and particular about the areas of my lawn that required attention; asked for a sign to be placed in each of the areas so that I knew that the areas had been addressed; plus, to notify me the day prior to arrival of the pending service; and each time, no notification and repeated missed areas of service. And I endured this for several months, many more months than I should have, but I was promised each time that it would improve, and it never did. And even when they assured me that service was complete, I could witness both visually in the yard that certain areas weren't treated, and, I have cameras that provide coverage of my entire property, where I could see that the technicians did not treat. And then lastly, after I closed my account and cancelled my service, they had the nerve to ask me to pay full price for my last service--a service where they only treated the front of my lawn and not the back. The nerve of them; their utter ineptness; and lack of professionalism and commitment to quality. I definitely would not recommend them for service. read more

After a couple of years being satisfied with these guys, they advised me to "be patient" when I got a few weeds in the back yard. I was patient and watch the weed take over and kill the grass in my back yard. To make it right, the manager sent his best tech out - my wife videoed him tossing a handful of fertilizer towards one of the barespots and left. Evidently he lied to his manager about it who defended him until my wife told him he was on video. Cancelled. Now they owe me a credit and are sending ME late payment notices. Not sure what happed to them but service has gotten terrible and nobody in the office communicates with each other. 1 star for the easy stuff / negative star for any challenge and communication. read more

One of the worst companies you will run across. They will tell you they came by your house and bill you but they don't. How do I know? I work from home. They have said they fired a tech because she said she came by the house but ran out of product. Great pitch to get me to activate. Serviced the lawn just once. Missed large portions of the lawn then refused to come back. I called to cancel but, the person I spoke to did not have the authority to do that. I was supposed to get a call back never did. Text messages yielded the same results. Called again and got a sales rep but, he was not authorized to cancel, told me it was a lot like trying to cancel a timeshare. Only a "Retention" person can do that. He never called either. So, got a robo call telling me they would be there the next day. I met them at the curb. It was pretty ugly. Warned them if the stepped foot on the property, I would call the police. After 20 minutes of arguing with me and my wife, they left. That was last week. I just got another robo call. They're coming back tomorrow. I'm thinking of just sitting on my front porch with a shotgun. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I wanted a lawn service, meaning someone to make sure my lawn was ok , thinking it would be $58 a month or so. I added mosquito service, thinking $50 a month for the summer time. The billing was all screwed up. They started to up sell me on tree/shrub/bug applications. Next thing I know, after 1 year of service I have paid them almost 3,000. I asked for a complete invoice from when I started with them and they said I owed a couple hundred more. They kept sending me invoices in the mail that were wrong. When I sent an email saying that I would pay the difference from the first emailed invoice and stop the service, the customer service manager Tucker sent me a new invoice that was all over the place and said I now owed 4,200. This place is the worst! I will be contacting a lawyer soon. read more

We began using Weedman Roswell in 2021. Specific instructions were noted to contact us 30 minutes prior to arrival so that we may secure our dog, as we have a fenced yard. Our property has never looked great during the service time. Company now states they "serviced " our yard on March 28th. We cancelled the service effective March 1, 2023. In writing, and by email. They state they never received the notice. IF they appeared on March 28th, there was no phone call and they trespassed as we cancelled a month prior. I've been a homeowner for 50 years, I've never had such an awful experience with a vendor. It's been a terrible and stressful experience. I tried this service and they sprayed my new sod when I specifically asked them not to and then they didn't want to take responsibility for the damage even though I had them on my ring camera. I canceled the service 3 months ago and they have been trying ti keep billing me and still scheduling service calls. I just git another phone call this week advising that they would be out to service my property. They guy that signed me is no longer with the company and his email is still active. Firstly, after signing up I never received a welcome email or any account information. Next, I have called the office several times communicating the urgency of the initial service of weed control due to pressures of fines from my home owners association; I was assured that this was not a problem by the sales team and that my initial service would be expedited. After contacting CS again, I was reassured that someone would be out to service my property on the week, Feb 21-25 but that never happened. Therefore, I have requested in writing to cancel service with WeedMan due to a lack of meeting customer expectations, a lack of communication and a lack of meeting customer demand. As a small business owner myself, it is extremely important for me to patronize other small businesses and the business behavior shown here by WeedMan is extremely unprofessional and is a bad representation of small businesses that are trying to survive in this current business climate, especially when the larger service providers continue to gain market share. Thsir employees are polite, patient and knowledgeable. Kendal and Derrick represent their company well. In a time where customer service takes a "back seat" Weed Man puts it front and center!! I'd give zero stars but it doesn't allow it. They started service at our house in April, the first application had no effect. They agreed to come back out 4 weeks later to reapply at no charge. In May they sent us a bill for the next application except they never did our yard and there was no sign left at our house. Coincidentally, there was a sign at our next door neighbors. In June the same thing happened. After a phone call, they agreed that they had made a mistake and went to the wrong house. Two days later we got a late bill for two applications (the two that they did at our neighbors). My mother was using Weedman and when asked to not perform unnecessary jobs, they did them anyway and still charged her. I asked them to stop service completely, as she was using another company. They would not stop. I told them to stop all contact and they still would not stop calling and emailing her. They are VERY difficult to get rid of, if you don't want to use them, anymore. If I could give a zero review, I would. Used weed man last year and prepaid for the discount offered (big mistake). the first time they came out to treat the front and back yard for weeds, I was left with very distinctive sine wave patterns in my lawn due to the herbicide that they used. All other times that they came out, they never fertilized nor "spot" treated for weeds. (I have cameras to prove it showing the "technician" sitting outside of my home in their truck for 30mins to an hour). I guess weeds kill themselves and grass will feed themselves. I can deal with incompetence, but expect it to be fixed. When I complained, I got an individual that sprayed for weeds around the perimeter. They did not bother to spot spray in the middle of the yard nor did they fertilize like they are supposed to. Each technician complained that they were not told to do the back yard, so they would not, even though I paid close to a thousand dollars for front and back service and was in the contract. By the end of the year, I was over my anger because I was more angry at myself for prepaying for service. I could have withheld payment until service's were actually rendered. Weedman had to stir me up again this spring by having someone call me to make things better and asking how they could do that. I told them simply, give me the services that I paid for. Probably not a surprise, they were uninterested in "making things better", after I told them they could make it better by giving me the services that I already paid for and that I would not give them any more money. I don't usually write reviews, but wanted others to be aware of the pitfalls of a year pre-paid service. If they already have your money, what incentive and accountability do they have to actually provide the service per contract? A person could sue to try to reclaim money spent for little to no services provided, but that isn't feasible for most people. Better to withhold payment until services are actually rendered. read more

Hired weed man for mosquito treatment as well as weed control service. Both were awful. Mosquito service was so poor, my kids were unable to play outside and would come in because they were so attacked/bitten up after minutes of play. Furthermore, my daughter ended up in urgent care with an infection due to so many bites and had to be on antibiotics for 10 days. The service at this company is awful - stay away! Second time around with this company after seeing that Trugreen was no better. My first tenure lasted 6 years. The second one would have ended at 6 months if Brittney Ossenbaugh hadn't convinced me to give it one more shot. We will see how it goes. I was in better shape when I bought products from Lowe's and did it myself. Nick and a couple of the field guys are the only reason I'm grading a 2 and not a well deserved 1. Reached out with no response. We found out from another company we had chemical burns from the treatment weedman provided. Do not waste your money!! Their service has gone way down. This company is a joke. Early last October they sprayed my lawn for weeds. Problem is I am not nor have I ever been a customer. The chemical they used kills the type of grass I have (had) in my side yard. In addition to that, MY lawn care company had just sprayed my lawn a few days prior. Long story short after I had to initiate all calls, they promised to deep till and reseed my side lawn. Never heard from them again. I took them up on a one-time aeration service, and they subsequently aerated our lawn 3 times in three weeks without any notice. The third unnecessary aeration was done in pouring rain and tore up our front yard. Our yard looked like someone did donuts in a 4 wheeler. They were unapologetic, rude, lied about certain details, and simply showed us that they did not care about how their disorganization affected their customer's lawns. Quite possibly the worst provider of lawn services I have ever used. I had signed a year contract with this company. Although they would arrange dates to provide service, they rarely showed up. I had to continue to stay on them to provide the services we paid for.....the services themselves were not what they promised. They told me they would thicken my lawn and make it greener - they did neither. A complete waste of money.
