Banana split big enough for multiple people
    Cassandra W.

Don't let the name or the outside fool you. This is the local go to place for all your ice cream needs. I love their loaded banana splits, but they also offer hand dipped ice cream, slushes, build your own sundaes and all the toppings you could ever want. Another specialty they offer is flavored soda. You can go classic with vanilla or cherry, or go a little more on the wild side and add marshmallow. And yes, they have the good ice (IYKYK). While ice cream might be their more popular option, they do offer their name sake food here. Many people love their foot long hot dogs (get it deep fried), but they also offer fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and other fair/dive foods. If you're driving by, stop for a quick sweet treat! They even have a drive thru!

Soooo I had never been here before a few days ago - never heard 'o the place. I've been 3 times in 5 days. Don't judge - you will too when ya try it. Fair food at SUPER low prices. The mini corn dogs are crispy and YOU GUYS...! The broccoli cheese bites are phenomenal!!!!! Crispy, flavorful, cheeeeeeeeesy, the ice cream - hand dipped or soft serve - perfect snack for a bad day, Friday, Monday, ANY day!!!! I wish they were in my back yard. But then again I don't. Yes I do. Go there please

When mediocre is the standard and you don't even reach that, you really have to consider what you're doing. This is the case with this establishment. It reminds me of an old timey antique throw back without all the charm and desperately lacking in good food. The corn dog was still ice cold in the center. The footling was thin, pale, and just plane sloppy. The fries were meh. And the chocolate shakes are better at McDonald's. Avoid this place. I'm sorry that this town was handed such a raw deal, just like the food at this place. Go find a convenient store. At least the hot dogs are on those rollers till they are properly cooked. See pics.

Weenee World is so fun! I mean, I'm always questioning the name - but they are one of the best places to grab ice cream in Henry County! :) Their banana splits are my favorite dessert. They are big enough to split between 2 people and for under $5, it's a great deal! The prices are almost better here than getting fast food, so it's a great stop for families after games at the sports park next door. Their carrot cake and banana pudding ice cream (hand dips) are highly recommended as well. They specialize in fair-themed food, hence the name. So you'll find hot dogs, onions rings, ice cream, slushies, lemon shake-ups, funnel cakes, cotton candy, and treats like that here. Personally, we come for the ice cream and slushies. Our kids like the coney dogs but I haven't been a fan of the food - I've tried the tenderloin and onion rings but I prefer to stick to their sweet treats. There aren't any healthy options here, BUT you can get a diet coke slushie if you are looking for something sugar-free. They have a drive-thru and walk-up window with outdoor seating, but there is no indoor seating. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Weenee world is just fun. They have all the summer treats you love, burgers, onion rings, coney dogs, along with all kinds of frozen treats. Their banana split is HUGE and don't pass up the lemon shake up. The big draw is the picnic table area full of kiddie rides, toys, and hula hoops. It's a great place ro take the family on a sunny day. Walk up service and drive through only. There is no inside dining room.

Great food, poor customer service! I think the teens that work need to learn customer service!

Food is decent. Nothing is gourmet so go elsewhere is you want a fancy dinner. Coney dogs are pretty good.

Much like Steven Tyler sang on the single that was released the year I was born (I just now…read morediscoverd this!), I am back in the saddle, again! Recently, my family went on a, er, fateful camping trip. Fateful is perhaps a strong term. But much like Back in the Saddle isn't Aerosmith's best song, this wasn't my favorite camping trip. Oh, far from it! But this isn't a review about camping venues. It's a review about a restaurant. Why? Because when the rain comes in and dampens your family's weekend plans, quite literally, it's time for Plan B! I wasn't familiar with the area, but something drew us to Ky's American Bistro and, honestly, they kind of saved the day! Ky's is a locally owned establishment that specializes in down-home cooking and classic American fare. They advertise an unlimited salad bar, which I think is great. The unlimited salad bar seems to be vanishing from our culture (R.I.P. Ruby Tuesday!), and while I am not the biggest fan of the all-you-can-eat buffet (don't judge my lunch choice below!), I AM a fan of a salad bar that giveth abundantly. Beyond the salad bar, they create "handcrafted" burgers, tenderloins and hand-cut streaks. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and they had a hot bar you could add to the unlimited salad bar. Yes, it was technically a buffet, but I am going with "hot bar" because its my review, and I can. Joking aside, it was a solid Sunday meal. The hot bar had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac 'n cheese and green beans. Basically, the perfect Sunday comfort meal after a less-than-stellar camping trip. My son ordered the bone-in wings and they looked great, nice and meaty. My girls loved the "jello fluff" off the salad bar. I am a sucker for a salad bar that includes more than just salad, even if its simply something for my kids to enjoy. They also include a soup with the salad bar because, of course! It was a cheesy cauliflower, and my oldest daughter was skeptical. But she loved it and downed a bowl quickly. The decor is rustic, yet comforting: knickknacks on the wall, but it never felt like they were going full Cracker Barrel. My youngest daughter loved the "Farm to Table" sign with the greenery hanging down. She was already interested in decorating her bedroom in a similar fashion, so she was very impressed. And let me tell you, that's saying something for her! Lol. My only drawback was that it was nearing the end for the hours of the hot bar, yet more people had just been sat who stated they wanted to order the salad and hot bar. The kitchen brought out some fresh chicken, but said that was all that would be served. It was a little early, I felt, since a large family had just ordered, but it all worked out. There was enough food, and I understand a business wanting to save on food waste. I saw a review that mentioned instant mashed potatoes. All due respect, but that reviewed is crazy. These potatoes were THICC. No "k" needed! They were served with a delicious chicken gravy. The food was exactly what you would want for a down-home comfort meal. Whether you are surviving the bad weather or just looking for a great meal, Ky's has you covered.

We were seated and it was not too long before the waitress came to the table and took our drink order. I ordered the breaded tenderloin and onion rings, my daughter had the tenderloin and fries, and my grandson had a hamburger and fries. I was not a big fan of the tenderloin, too thin for my liking, but my daughter liked it. The grandson was happy with his burger and fries. They were pretty busy the entire time we were in there but our waitress did a pretty good job of keeping up. She did check on us during our meal. I would likely go again if I were back in town. I would just order something different.
