My dog doesn't have the best manners - but they see him for the big love that he is. They smile as big as he does when they see each other. They remember tiny details about his silly personality quirks. (Usually just seeing him once a year for a few days) They care for all of his needs and bring him so much joy. The first time they even texted details about his day to help us feel more comfortable leaving him at a new place. Every time he comes home from Sylvan, we can tell he misses all the friends he made at the kennel - human and other dog friends. Honestly, we would never consider taking him anywhere else at this point. Pro tip - the grooming and nail trimming service is worth every penny - and such a reasonable cost.

Was even understanding for when our trip was extended a couple of days due to car troubles on the way back. What keeps me from adding that last star (or rather, .5 of a star) is getting a call at an odd hour about an alleged flea on my cat's rear. This was news to me, as we have not encountered the little parasites in our house since 2014 when a neighbor of ours introduced fleas to our house. Our cat is strictly an indoor cat, never goes outside, and I have dealt with fleas on cats a handful of times in my life, and have never had an incident of a single flea found only on the pet. The bugs have always managed to bother me as well. I have not been bothered by fleas since the aforementioned 2014 incident that we treated, and eradicated. So getting a call to say a flea was found, but no evidence was offered at the time, or at eventual pickup, just left a slightly sour taste in my mouth for what was otherwise exemplary cat boarding. I would still recommend her services, would even use them again if I found myself having to take the family out of town again, but if I am to be called and told my cat had a flea (not even fleas, I was told one was found on his hindquarters) I would rather expect to see some sort of evidence, photographic documentation preferably.

I was worried about my cat bc she was really scared when I first dropped her off. To see a video of her purring and meowing outside of her condo was so comforting to watch while away. We also got back from our trip a day early and asked to pick our cat up after hours and Charlotte made it possible. She even refunded us for the last night without us asking. Such a sweetheart.

When we have to travel and we want @ewokyorkiepoo to be taken care of, we go to Nelly's Ark. The boarding price is very reasonable ($17 USD per night) and they seem to have a very good control of their customers. The spaces for the dogs are separated by size of they'll feed either what you bring or what you ask them too. OUTDOORS This property sits in a semi-rural area, yet close to I-5, so you'll find that they take the pets out to the large, natural grass area in the back... Where they can experience outdoors for 15 minutes a day. Outdoors in the #PNW has a different meaning for different people, even for dogs. It's #outdoors nonetheless. RESERVATIONS With a large all-season all-inclusive waterpark resort such as Great Wolf Lodge a couple of minutes away, finding a spot takes time. Make sure you make your reservation in advance and remember to bring your dogs vaccination records! SERVICE It seems that only dogs are accepted, but there's an extremely friendly cat that will greet you at the lobby... Prior to boarding, he was in good overall health, fully up to date on all vaccinations, and exhibited no signs of illness. I also have video footage from the week prior to boarding showing him acting normally and healthy. He had vet records from the 8th of April also stating he was in overall good health. Unfortunately, the condition in which my dog was returned to me was deeply concerning and entirely unacceptable. Upon pickup, he appeared malnourished, dehydrated, and in respiratory distress. He was suffering from excessive sneezing and wheezing, runny eyes, a runny nose, with a hard time breathing, and a significant buildup of discharge that had begun to coagulate. This was clearly not the same healthy animal I entrusted to your care. I immediately took him to my veterinarian following pickup. The veterinary examination and records confirmed that he was both malnourished and dehydrated, in addition to suffering from respiratory symptoms. I have since incurred veterinary expenses exceeding the amount I paid for boarding services. During his stay, I contacted the facility to ask whether staff had noticed anything unusual regarding his health or behavior. I was assured that he was "perfectly fine" aside from minor sneezing. Based on the condition he was in at pickup, it is difficult to understand how these obvious changes went unnoticed or unaddressed by your staff. Even your manager acknowledged that I should never have had to take him to the veterinarian the same day he was released from your facility. In addition to the financial burden, I was forced to spend days and nights personally nursing my dog back to health after bringing him home. The situation was extremely stressful and emotionally exhausting, and I lost a significant amount of sleep caring for him and monitoring his condition to ensure he recovered safely. What is equally disappointing is the complete lack of accountability shown afterward. Despite the seriousness of the situation, neither the manager nor any member of the staff offered so much as an apology for my dog's condition or the distress and financial burden this caused. To date, no meaningful effort has been made to remedy the situation. I requested a refund due to the negligence, lack of attentiveness, and inadequate care provided during my dog's stay. I am extremely grateful I picked him up when I did, as the outcome could have been far worse had his condition continued to deteriorate unnoticed. I also have photographs, videos, and veterinary documentation supporting his condition immediately after pickup. Your own service agreement states that the facility "shall exercise reasonable care for the pet delivered by the owner to their facility for services." Based on the condition in which my dog was returned to me, I believe that obligation was clearly breached.
