we purchased a GE Cafe' 4-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer from Weir's in September 2023. The fridge was back ordered and was finally delivered in March 2024. The fridge is everything we had hoped for. Our sales associate was very knowledgeable and helped us select the perfect fridge that met our size limitations and preferred options. The installers, both Miles and Derek, were very professional and took great care in relocating our old fridge to make way for the new fridge. I booked Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer with the house builder for my new home and the builder has contract with Weirs for Appliance install. When Weirs installed the appliances, they didn't connect the water hose behind the refrigerator correctly. There was water leakage for a week and we get to know only when the carpet in the adjustment room got wet. This water leakage caused a lot of damage in our band new home. Carpet padding, trimming, basement insulation were all to be replaced. Complete disaster in a new house. I will never ever work with Weirs. The people at Weir's were great overall. Winona was very helpful from a sales perspective. I definitely wanted to give Chris and his helper Jordan a shout out as Chris was super helpful in delivering and setting up my new washer and dryer. It was a real pleasure having them come in and remove the old units and set up the new units. I would actually give a higher rating but no half stars are available and due to a delivery snafu and what I would say is a little less than ideal communications, I can't justify a five star rating. I will say that if not for Chris and Jordan, and the fact they also had my dishwasher with them, which I had planned on picking that unit up myself, I might not have done four stars due to the lack of communication between the time I ordered the appliances and the time they were delivered as I was in the blind otherwise and no call was made to inform me of if my dishwasher was in or not and when I called, I was just told someone would call me back with an update. read more

Miles and Ellis delivered my new refrigerator today. The first removed the old one, then unboxed and removed all of the shipping materials that the new refrigerator came with. Amazing how they handled the new fridge into the house making sure it didn't get bumped by doorways on the way in. They set it up, explained it will take some time to get cold, and also gave tips on cleaning stainless steel and what not to use. I'm always impressed with Weir's and their employees. My freezer started to die. Weir's sent out a 17ft replacement and took away the old one. We purchased a 21 cubic foot GE freezer. A reliable appliance repair person recommended Weir's for my dishwasher purchase. The salesperson, Winona, concentrated on answering my questions and meeting my needs...no hard sell. They have the most reliable brands and my first choice in brand and design was on sale. Follow up customer service could not have been better. The company that could deliver and install the soonest canceled my delivery well AFTER my 2:00 delivery time. I had to be persistent about their returning the dishwasher to Weir's, as I was unwilling to give them a second chance. Weir's recommended Appliance Solutions for the next delivery and install. I was very disappointed by the 'service'I received when I enteres the store. I had to find someone to assist me. When I did find a lady sitting behind the counter I asked about freezers. Her response was they didnt have any in the show room and would not have one till tues(its Saturday). She also stated the price, which I hadnt even asked yet. Just bought my first new washer and dryer ever. I'm so excited! The sales fellow (sorry I forgot his name) was a very straight shooter. I told him what I needed vs what's on my wish list. I told him I have a family of 5 so we do a lot of laundry- he helped size me into what I feel is an appropriate size machine. I didn't want to have a small unit and I didn't want to over buy on a large unit. The install guy - Matt M. was cool too. He got everything set up within 20 minutes. We did the run through of the units and I feel like I have a really good grasp of how these new washer and dryers work. We had an excellent experience purchasing a new refrigerator from Weir's recently. I stopped by their showroom on a weekday afternoon, and started looking at all of the models available on the floor until a sales person was available. Perhaps 5-10 minutes later, after he had finished assisting other customers, "Big Mike" came over to help me and asked what exactly I was looking for. I had measured our old fridge beforehand, and told him that since the kitchen had been remodeled around it we would have to get something just about exactly the same size (no larger, anyway). He understood completely, and took me straight to a model that was just the right size, had the right features, and was the right price. We discussed some other options as well, and since I never want to make a large purchase like this without shopping around I asked him to print of some details to take with me. That same day, I stopped at three other stores comparing refrigerator specs, features, etc. and asking questions. I also went online to compare prices with other retailers and look up product reviews. The first fridge that Mike had showed me at Weir's isn't a top-of-the-line fancy model or anything, but it seems to have pretty solid reviews and the price was much more reasonable than some of the fancier models. I called up Mike the next morning, provided my credit card info, and the fridge was delivered to our kitchen (no extra charge for delivery, installation, and haul-away of the old fridge) two days later. Customer service is non existent here. I would give them zero stars if I could. Emailed for pricing and availability on chest freezers 2 days ago. Called today to verify availability. Person on the phone pretty much acted like she was doing me a favor by being open. Loaded up the trailer and drove my happy behind over there. Waited for 15 minutes while the sales rep assisted another customer while to desk jockeys ignored the fact that I was standing in their store. Finally get to the sales rep and tell him which freezer I wanted and he tells me no one from the warehouse is there on Sundays. I'll have to come back tomorrow to get it loaded up. My wife and I went into Weir's today to get a new gas range, microwave, and dishwasher. The place was in shambles. It looked as though they were going out of business- which they may be. There were empty spaces for appliances everywhere. The appliances they did have were damaged. We saw there were a couple of customers in the store and a couple of sales associates. The sales associates didn't acknowledge that we were there and after taking a walk through the store we quickly realized it was not the store for us. Unwelcoming and run down. read more

I purchased a new over-the-stove microwave from Weir's at the beginning of June and, due to my color choice, took a few weeks for it to arrive. It was seamlessly installed by Chris who was efficient, knowledgeable and a super nice young man. What I thought would need two installers and take lots of moving and possible tile backsplash drilling was done in about 35 minutes by Chris alone. The new microwave, although a different brand than the old, fit perfectly. The process was painless from start to finish! Well, it's had nothing but issues from day one and Weir's is horribly unprofessional when it comes to even answering the phone. I would go through a big retailer if you want any type of follow through. This company is not helpful..... now being told by Speed Queen that it must be taken care of by the company that sold it to me. I have nothing but good things to say about Weir's appliance. Their people are helpful and knowledgeable, and based on my research their prices are better than any other store in the area. In fact, my neighbor outfitted his entire house with appliances from Weir's because, after doing a lot of shopping around, he concluded that no one could meet their prices. Also based on my experience, it seems that they couple with local and knowledgeable technicians to provide solid installation at a reasonable cost. Finally, as a testament to the customer service at Weir's... I had a problem with my Bosch dishwasher that I bought from Weir's. A certified Bosch technician had repaired it three times over the last year. Finally, it came time for Bosch to review my dishwasher as a candidate for replacement (since it appears to be a lemon), but Bosch was balking because I couldn't find my invoice this time (even though I had provided it on three previous occasions). It seemed apparent that Bosch was looking for an out based on a paperwork technicality. So I called Weir's and spoke with Lonnie (spell?) who emailed me my invoice within a few minutes, even though I had purchased the unit over a year ago. This epitomizes customer service in my opinion. I'll still shop around in the future, but assuming that Weir's continues to operate on a customer-centric model, I will definitely keep them at the top of my list when it comes to appliance shopping. read more
