When cashiers and customer service managers will allow you to walk out with only some of your groceries that's poor mediocre service. I've seen some stores actually chase down customers to ensure they don't leave groceries behind, NOT this store. The say they mentioned it to me but seeing that I did not hear them they allowed me to walk out of the door anyway. That's poor customer service in my book. read more

I have been a shopper at WEIS since I was in high school in Harrisburg and when I married, we waited for Weis to come to Allentown. They keep their prices down and have a Senior Tuesday when you can buy WEIS brand products for 10% off! They are generous when you have a return for any reason and don't make you feel like you're trying to "get away with something"! Their PRICES beat most places in most things. (I keep a record of prices as does our daughter.) The gas points are generous and very easy to work with--no gimmicks! The store on the whole is very FRIENDLY y and the employees seem very ready to HELP YOU with any questions you have. When King's IGA became WEIS--I felt like I was going home again!! We even have a few pieces of china that Weis in Whitehall gave away with grocery receipts in the 70's & 80's! read more

Produce is always terrible, i got another moldy cantaloupe and was tired of wasting my money so I called the store and spoke to the produce manager, he over-talked my concerns and cut me off multiple time with his inability to take any accountability for the lousy produce selection. I have complained multiple times in the past and nothing changes.. very upsetting!!! read more

I did not feel safe there AT ALL. No wipes or sprays were at the door. The locked box was empty. Half the people shopping had no masks on. People were walking all over the store with little regard for distancing. Walked by the seafood area and it stank so bad! I left at that point. Oh....severe overpricing. read more

This store is a nice clean store with a descent selection and friendly workers. Although last time I was there I needed a hand basket as I only needed a few small items. I asked an associate and he pointed to the basket stored in the front of the bagging area by a register. I grabbed my items and went to check out. There were two female associates chatting when I got to the register. They saw my hand basket , looked at each other confused and asked me where I got it? I said o asked for one and a gentleman pointed me to it. They proceeded to tell me I "shouldn't have one" ......confused I ask "huh?" They said we no longer use those for customers.....still confused but not needing to argue I finish my transaction and leave the store. ....on my way out I can't help thinking how completely ridiculous this exchange is, hand baskets are very convenient and my preferred method of shopping. I'll most likely never use that store again because honestly the way they made me feel like I did something wrong spending my money there kinda got on my nerves. Pathetic policy if you ask me. gas n go- HORRIBLE!!! rude gas tender harassed me and my friends over the intercom. My friend was pumping her gas and cleaning her windshield, minding her own business, when some guy came over the intercom telling us to "hurry the fuck up" (paraphrased). He then proceeded to turn off all of the lights. We whipped into the mcdonalds drive thru and by the time we received the bag the lights were back on!!! FAKE!! We will NEVER be coming back!! your loss! would give -500 starts if i could! read more

I have been a shopper at WEIS since I was in High School in Harrisburg, and waited for Weis to come to Allentown. I then shopped at the one Weis in Whitehall Mall whilst living in Whitehall. Now since Kings became Weis, I'm "home" again! The people are very friendly that work at Weis, the products with Weis' name on then are of good quality. The store is clean and any clerk or stock person is very friendly when I ask directions. I realize they are limited by what the corporation sends them but anytime I have ever had a complaint, the Service desk has more than helped me or given a full refund. When I complained about something I thought the Mgr. should know, he was very receptive to my problem. I once told the manager about an employee that worked in the deli that really handled being alone with a line of customers very well and before I knew it--that worker had been given a promotion. The meat and seafood we've bought over the years has been fresh and I've had no problems with it. I do know that people with who have a problem are more likely to put up a review than people who have had a good experience. SO--remember that when and where-ever you read reviews. read more

I purchased a family pack of boneless chicken breast when doing the self checkout I presumed someone around me wasn't feeling well and had really terrible gas turns out it was my $18 package of chicken. When I got home and took it out of the prewrapped package it smelled worse than the bay after low tide. When returning it they really didn't seem to care. I believe after going through all that they should double your money back for your trouble. I will not be buying meat at that store in the future! read more

I live in Schnecksville, so I shop here out of necessity, not because I want to shop here. I have had a real problem with the meat at this store over the years. I have purchased meat, that when I got it home and immediately went to use it. It smelled bad. I have returned meat to this store on numerous occasions. Yesterday, I purchased a prepared meat, the Rotisserie Chicken in the prepared food section. First, problem the meat looked like it was a light color and not well done. When I got home. Since this meat looked light, I put it in the oven on 375 for a half hour. I took the meat out and went to serve it to my family. Well, when I cut into it, a very bad smell came off the meat. I bent down to smell it, and the smell coming from this meat was repulsive. There also was a slimy film just under the skin about 1/8 inch thick. I think this meat was allowed to sit out to thaw (or for some other reason) too long and it went bad before it was baked. I was furious because I had no meat to serve to my family. I called the store, they will give me a refund and also give me a gift card. But, this is a completely unacceptable situation. Weis Market in Schnecksville has an out of control process and no quality control in place to make sure something like this can not occur. If Weis continues with this sloppy type of food prep, they are one day going to have a large law suit when someone gets sick or worse. I will not buy Weis' prepared food in the future. If this store wasn't so close to my home, I would not shop here. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the Weis in Schnecksville! "Corporate " puts out this ad that states 400 points for $100 spent on "all gift cards" (fine print...except visa/mc/amex, reloadable cards, and phone cards. Purchase $100 of dining cards and only received 100 points. Asked why not 400 points and was told that corporate wrote the ad but this store only accepts the cards on the photo! Why then does the ad say all gift cards???? Very disappointed at this point and said I don't want them if you can't give me what the ad says. Nope...no returns on gift cards! SERIOUSLY???? Done with this store!!!! read more

I live 5min from the store there probably every other day and I agree there steak rolls get moldy. In a day. u get them home . There meats all have a smell to them. The fresh veggies are bruised. The cashier s are for the most part friendly. They really need to do a over haul to get things on track. There. Shelves aren't stocked. But its a 5 min drive or a 20 min drive to Whitehall read more
