I love the selection of vintage items that are available, you will find everything from 1920's women's dress shoes to 1970's house coats. The prices can be a little steep on some items but with the vintage stuff you really get a good deal on what you pay for. I have purchased countless dresses and bags (all in excellent condition with no odor or damage to the items) and can always find a unique item on the number of clearance and sale racks placed in the shop. A solid guy, knows his stuff, and treats you like his bestest buddy from the moment you walk in the door. I've caught Brian O'Neill (owner) in there once or twice and he's a sterling dude. Great people, great clothes, and great service. Hell, when you buy something they wrap it up and carry it to the door for you! Made me feel all special. I don't go "antiquing," in part because I refuse to transform that word into a verb, but mainly…read morebecause I'm not much of a collector. Somerville's, though, is worthy of a visit. Here's why: It is in the lower level of an historic building, in the "East Center" of Richfield, i.e. the geographical center. This was the main stagecoach stop between Cleveland and Akron, and this is in the original building. Geoff Somerville knows all this, but he rarely bores you with any of that stuff, choosing rather to find out where your interests lie and whether he might have something that you would like to take home with you. Somerville's has a whole bunch of stuff, rather casually displayed. Books. Housewares. Art. Some of it is really old, as in many hundreds of years, while much of what is on sale is "mid-century modern" for the Jetsons lover in all of us. I saw a great accordion, an amazing book on steam boilers (well, some of us have rather peculiar tastes) and some beautiful leaded glass signs. I think Richfield has become such a bedroom community that some of the unique flavor of the town has been swept under the rug. Somerville's survives as local color, with charm, grace and wit. The minimalism is actually great because you can really browse and not be distracted by clutter. You can conveniently access the boutique from Main Street or from the back parking lot. Crocker Park visitors also visit the store as pass through (from parking lot to Main Street). Convenient and free parking options are available at parking garages in Crocker Park. Clothing: Clothing racks against the wall contain various collections such as Feels Like Home, Empowerment, Cleveland, vintage, and others. All garments are casual and unique. You can find t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, bandanas, sweat pants, baseball caps, and other merch. Clothes are clearly high quality, fabrics feel nice to the touch. All merch is unisex size and runs slightly big. Sizes S-XXL are available. Average prices are $30-60. 20% discount is currently offered in store. The same discount is available online for the first order. There is also a small vintage collection on the rack. Clothing items are priced at $10. What a steal! No fitting rooms seem to be available at this location. QR price list is available right next to the racks in case you'll have any pricing questions. Service: Emily's friend was working at the store this afternoon. That's how she introduced herself to my friend and I. She was super friendly, open to questions and casual conversation. The store contains a glass one office where you can easily chat with employee. Ordering: If you'd rather shop online, there are options for pickup in store and delivery. The website is well organized and has clean aesthetic. You can browse by style or collection. It also has more clothing choices. Overall, I love this brand! I can really see myself wearing some of these pieces to the ballpark or just out and about in CLE! I have yet to own one of the pieces (browsed today with my friend). My size is 3X and it doesn't seem like XXL will fit. Nonetheless, I'll keep following this brand and hoping to see more expanded sizes. I love how much love this brand has for our city!
