I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Weiss Jewelry. I paid for a clasp repair on my 14K gold tennis bracelet, picked it up two days later, and the repair failed almost immediately. The bracelet fell off and was lost because the clasp they repaired came undone. When I went back to the store, instead of taking responsibility or even showing empathy, the staff were harsh, dismissive, and repeatedly accused me of lying or trying to get something from them. They kept saying it was "impossible" for their repair to fail -- even though that is exactly what happened. Their tone and attitude were shocking. No accountability, no professionalism, and no attempt to help. I felt completely disrespected and humiliated. If you value your jewelry, be extremely cautious. I trusted them with something important to me, and they treated me terribly when their workmanship failed. I'll be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs. read more

Turns out his parents had a ring from his great-aunt that they offered to us, but it didn't fit me and was a bit out of date, so we went to Weiss to see if they could take the diamond and reset it in a ring for me. I showed them some photos of rings I thought were lovely and why, and Daniel drew a sketch for me right there! He then made a virtual 3-D mockup of the ring and asked if I wanted to change anything (the only thing being that we made the band slightly thicker). He was really practical about design so the ring is easy to clean and very sturdy, while still looking so delicate and gorgeous. We just picked the ring up and we couldn't be happier. Daniel and Sara (the couple who own the shop) were just so kind throughout the whole process and now we have the most beautiful ring to ever exist that is absolutely, totally unique. My wife wanted an atypical design for her engagement ring and in her words, Daniel did a great job helping her turn her ideas into the perfect ring; something both beautiful and practical. The turn around time for all our rings was also fairly fast, despite a shortage in raw materials at the time. I also have to give Daniel credit for doing a great job resizing my wedding ring, which was difficult due to my ring having meteorite in it.
