First off I was a little skeptical from the pictures and the initial look of the establishment when I was looking on yelp. My initials worries were soon put to rest. I walked in and checked in right away. They told me it would be about 45 minute wait for a spot. If you have ever been to a good barbershop/salon you know this is not unreasonable for a walk in time. From initially entering I was offered a drink and made comfortable until my barber was available. Ashley H. was my barber, she made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. My head is not an easy head to cut by any means. So I am very particular with the way it looks. I got a skin fade blended in at the top with a hard part straight razor line up into a comb over. Ashley had great customer service throughout the whole cut and made me feel very relaxed. She gave good pointers on styling my head, and did a full shampoo rinse, warm towels on the face, and essential oils applied to my skin after the neck shave. So what is my take on Weldon Barber: 1. Ashley's service and cut was amazing. 2. Price is a little high (you get what you pay for) $35 without tip for my basic cut with the line up. 3. Schedule an appointment or expect to wait a little while. 4. Overall will visit again if ever back in the area. read more

It's hard to find a decent barber. But going here you won't have to worry about that issue. They offer amazing service and take their time to ensure that a solid job is done. lady was very rude and cut my hair uneven and seems to have even missed a few spots, I asked for a trim and she pretty much buzzed the top and cut one side shorter than the other. She shaved my neck and was pretty rough with it and cut me a couple different times. Usually service is great here maybe just a bad worker. read more

I had a truly flawless experience yesterday during my visit to Weldon Barber's Spokane Valley location for a haircut with Tiffany. After having a rather awful haircut completed by disastrous barber at a different shop in the Valley, I was more than willing to pay a little more and seek the tonsorial skills of someone with greater experience. Everyone at Weldon Barber was polite, professional and extremely accommodating. The shop is immaculately clean and Tiffany did an extraordinary job on my haircut. Most importantly, she listened to my concerns, rectified what happened at the other barber and I left with a great cut feeling refreshed and relieved. I will absolutely be going back. Yes, you will pay a bit more for a haircut at Weldon Barber than other providers in the area- however, if you're on the fence- it's hands-down worth it. read more

In town on business and needed a cut & shave so I thought I'd give WB a try since it was right down the street from my hotel. I would recommend Weldon Barber to anyone I know after having a great experience today. I'm not name dropping, I live in Vegas and don't know her, but Abbie did a fantastic job and I think she should be recognized for it. The #1 clipper cut was the easy part but the shave was done very professionally and she did an outstanding job. Abbie really took her time using different hot towels, moisturizers, creams, etc and topped it off with a neck and face massage. All of that and she gave me a great locals perspective on Spokane and some of the neighboring towns. Do yourself a favor and book an appt with Abbie, you'll be glad you did! read more

So I set up an appointment for a hair cut. It was scheduled for 45 minutes. I have been getting my hair cut for quite some time so I know how long it takes. My problem is why would you set up an appointment system if you can't keep it. I waited an hour outside for my appointment and went inside for my time, just to find out that it would be another 20 minutes. Really!! Guys hair cuts run about 30 minutes or less. If you can't keep your appointments then shut your system down. So disappointed cause its so over priced hair cut, and you can't keep time management. I will never spend another dime there and will tell everyone what a waste it is to wait for the service if they don't respect your time. Customers time matters. read more

I'm the kind of guy that has always gone to Super Cuts or whatever was near and cheap in order to get a cut. Ever since I've been in a professional industry, I've wanted to present well in my dress and grooming. The results from chain haircut places have been hit and miss... mostly miss. Most times, I'll leave that place thinking "Welll.... it'll grow back". Therefore, I often put off getting a haircut longer than I should. I just relocated from Austin, TX to Spokane, WA a couple weeks ago and wanted to get myself a nice cut to look better groomed at my new job here. Yelp directed me to one of two places that caught my eye with good reviews here in the area and this shop happened to be right down the road. I am thoroughly impressed with this shop. The atmosphere, hospitality, and talent is abundant and well worth the marginally premium price. Tarra was my barber and her work and service was fantastic. I cannot remember ever walking out from a haircut and being so satisfied with what I paid for. It was a pleasure and a luxury that I will indulge myself with next month or next time I need a trim. Aside from the haircut.... Big pluses: - They'll serve you coffee when you check in. - Shampoo, conditioner, and styling product of your choice included in basic service - Everything is CLEAN. You will not walk out with an itchy back because they weren't careful to keep everything clean. - If you call ahead and make an appointment, the service is PROMPT. However, if you walk in for service, there are plenty of good magazines and periodicals to pass the time with the coffee they serve. -Warm towel on the eyes and forehead while they shampoo and condition... Why does EVERYONE not do this? -Right next door to Starbucks for a good cup after a treat of a trim. Downside: - The chairs in the lobby are loud when you sit in them. Lol. I'll always come back here for a cut. Next time, I might get a shave too. Tarra took a straight razor to my neckline and it's as smooth as it gets. This is the third Weldon location I've been to and it was by far the best service I've had. Ashlee gave a fantastic haircut and went above and beyond in the scalp massage, neck shave, and even went as far as to tame the eyebrows. She seemed to gauge the situation well and knew the amount of conversation I would be comfortable with. All staff was professional and polite. I just moved here from Seattle so I wasn't sure if it would be the same as I'm used to in Mill Creek, but it surpassed my expectations, I will be back for every cut from here on out. read more

I've been going here for about a year now and I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Brittney Boyce is a flippin' artist. If she can make my fugly Italian fro into a masterpiece, she can do anything. I've been trying to strike a balance between hip looking individual style, and prim and proper corporate drone. And she is able to pull it off. I can now pass for normal in polite society, looking like a boring adult at work. And then add some more product, spike it out, and recapture my youth without looking pathetic and old. And don't even get me started on the scalp massages. I get migraines and tension headaches alot. But they're gone by the time I walk out the door of this fine establishment. She is awesome. The whole staff is awesome. Go, I say. Go to Weldon. You will not regret it. read more

I've been going to Weldon since they first opening in Coeur d'Alene some years ago. Unfortunately that salon closed but one opened in the Spokane Valley.
