Stopped in for a cup of Joe. Got the 16 ounce. Pricey at $3.40. However, the coffee was excellent! Best I have had in a coffee shop for quite awhile. I like the unique atmosphere of place. Nice spot to spend some time. Definitely recommend. I am glad I found this place on Yelp and detoured over. Worth going out of the way to come here. Parking is free in a lot in front. read more

A somewhat solid coffee " VANILLA LATTE ICED COFFEE WITH OATMILK" Good price, tasty beans, good baristas. The place was calming to just chat with friends or read a book! Tons of people of all walks of life just enjoying their mid afternoon coffee. They had an edible straw for 25 cents and that was interesting to try out. It tastes pretty much "healthy" and "vanilla" soak it while you drink your coffee and its a little fun snack at the end. I do not see myself going back, but this is a great find! read more

Cute little cafe, with cozy mix matched chairs and tables. There's also a small meeting / event room. I love the bulletin board for community events and community resources. There philosophy seems To be about supporting the community anything from helping the poor, addiction help, etc. read more

Just tried the Italian sandwich and it was the best one I've ever had. Perfectly toasted . I swapped the pesto for mayo and it was great. Also service is always great. I was served by a lovely woman and a young boy who really went above and beyond to make sure my experience was amazing. Their iced chai is also my favorite read more

Absolutely love this place!! The women there are so kind and remember you by name when you come in. My favorite drink is their honey vanilla matcha with oat milk. I also love that i am supporting a good cause with every purchase instead of spending my money at large coffee corporations that don't align with my values or give back to my community. We visited Well Grounded because we were looking for a coffee shop close to the Dallas Arboretum. I'm so glad we stopped by! The staff was so incredibly friendly and kind, and service was very quick. So many great things to say about this place. Amazing coffee and tea options and flavor! The tea even if you get it iced is freshly brewed you can even see little particles of tea in it. Which is always great because you know it hasn't been sitting there forever. The mini cheesecake was to die for! So tasty so rich and honestly the best little piece of heaven you could ask for with your coffee. Though it is tiny it is mighty! My son and I were able to share it and have a nice sweet treat. This coffee shop boasts plenty of cozy seats and has converted two parking spots out front into an outdoor seating area as well. Their mission is a heartwarming one: helping formerly incarcerated women back on their feet! My barista seemed a little nervous when I asked what's good on the menu but she walked me through all the coffee options like a pro. I love that you can select your own reusable mug from a wall of differently designed mugs - they made me a rich and creamy caramel latte which was perfectly paired with a pecan carrot cake muffin. Bathrooms in the back were clean and spacious. Folks from the nearby apartments came to pick up coffees with their dogs in tow. All in all, a cheerful place and great addition to the neighborhood. read more

I was riding my bike around White Rock Lake when I started browsing for coffee and other places. I rode by Ascension and I knew White Rock Coffee was close. I randomly found Well Grounded Coffee. I only had a drip brew but I was very impressed by a few things. 1. they had half and half and other "milks." Some places only have milk which isn't to my liking. 2. Instead of paper cups, you choose which ceramic mug you want to use. 3. A lot of the popular coffee shops use really acidic coffee (light roast). Well Grounded had a nice medium dark roast. Their baked good looked good and I will try them. The staff were very personable and helpful. The owner offered to steam my coffee for me so the temp was right. In addition to being a good coffee shop, they have a good cause so I always tip a bit extra. read more

This was a surprise stop for us, but we are so glad we did!! The people here are amazing and that level of amazing was matched in their coffee and pastries. I had a latte with oat milk. My husband had a decaf honey lavender latte and both were made to perfection. We also tried the lemon ricotta cookies, spiced rum cake (keto friendly, if that's your thing), and a cinnamon roll. All were fresh and delicious. The other thing I love is that they are on a mission to help recently released women that were incarcerated. We need more people willing to help those get back on the right track. Overall, great stop! We plan to stop in anytime we are in the area. read more

Charming spot for coffee and intimate socializing. This little treasure is nestled in The Reserve at White Rock Apartments. Work spaces are nicely separated for patrons who choose to hang out and get some work done. There's a nice sized table if one needs more space to spread out. Small tables and chairs provide distance and allow for quiet conversation. The decor is homey and comfortable. This coffee shop could very easily become a regular hang out. The menu offers various beverage delights. The all time must have is the keto cheesecake. Love this shop! I work walking distance so you can always find me here. I post 5 stars, not so much for the coffee of match but for the ladies that work here. I'm SO PROUD OF THEM! The mission for this coffee shop is amazing. The shop itself is cozy and welcoming. I always enjoy coming in and getting great service. The ladies are quick and SWEET! Matcha is great! Best place in East Dallas to have a meeting with a client or friend. Can't say enough great things about this place. You just have to experience it! Food and drinks are great, always plenty of space. They even have a conference room that you can book or if it's available you can use! I've seen someone I know here that I wasn't even intending to meet every time I go bc the love East Dallas has for this place. A weekly visit is necessary. read more

Great service! Natasha created a delicious dairy free, vegetarian sandwich, off the menu, so I wouldn't go hungry at lunch time. The trail mix cookie is amazing too. The place has great vibes. I sat on a comfortable couch while I studied for exams. I love the company mission and personal stories of recovery. I saw a booklet with resources for the those who want to help the homeless. I found more than a coffee shop when I tried out Well Grounded Coffee, I found hope. read more

The coffee is good and the matcha is good!! I got a iced vanilla latte that was made to perfection. Just the right amount of sweet and the right amount of vanilla. My wife got the matcha latte and said it was great. I love that they are providing opportunities for women in the community! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas.
