I walk in and am greeted by a really nice receptionist, the decor isn't high end but I care more about the services than decor anyways. The woman who did my facial spoke very, very limited English but was kind and did try. Although it was a fear of mine since I've never had a facial before. I watched a few YouTube tutorials and heard about some of my friends experiences so I wanted to know everything that was happening/being put on my face. But, I didn't quite get that :( After the general cleansing of my face from my makeup, she puts a mask and the mister which made it a little hard for me to breathe (is that normal?) afterwards she proceeded with the extractions! Then, another mask, tiny hand massage and some different creams on my face which I wish I knew what they were! It lasted the full hour and maybe a few extra minutes. In the end, my face felt clean, delicate and soft! It was an enjoyable experience for the most part (besides having a hard time breathing)! The woman tried her best to talk to me, I don't take it offensively when someone can't speak English I just think it's somewhat essential in a service like this.

Will try to be as balanced as possible in this review: Pro: was able to get in with only a few hours notice Pro:.appears to be clean Pro: the young inexperienced masseuse I had, has some basic training but clearly only in relaxation massages and not sports or deep tissue like I requested. He was pleasant and we had good conversation (I don't go for relaxation or silence so usually enjoy some conversation) Con: exterior: when given the address, I asked if it was a professional office and sent the attached picture - it's an apartment unit with no signage - I whatapp'd the manager who came down to let me in - I should have left right then but was in pain so proceeded Con: interior: when you get inside, it's three tables side by side (the picture makes it look like a couples room) - no privacy, no place to disrobe and get re dressed - I stood behind a curtain covering part of the kitchen eating area and disrobed and walked to the table in a towel. When we were done, my massage therapist waited in the bathroom while I got dressed Con: interior: thankfully I was the only customer so I was alone - what would have happened if someone else was there and on another table???? I shudder to think about this - I'm not a shy person but I do not want to share my massage experience and their conversation with a stranger Con: bathroom - no toilet paper (and um - there is a cvs across the street) - just some wipes left on the counter. It's clean and smelled nice but clearly is being used by someone living in the apartment when it's not being used for massage given all the non massage related toiletry products Con: price - I paid $140 for a 75 min massage, plus I left a tip of $20 for my masseuse (he was pleasant and none of this was his fault). My top notch regular spa has professionals, in a really nice, professional location with trained therapists, and they charge $150 for 75 mins. I feel like this was amateur hour and did not get what I requested at all. This was a huge waste of my time and money and would not recommend more than $50 or even just getting a chair massage at your local nail salon for the extra $20 add on they charge you Con: quality - the masseuse is young and clearly doesn't have any formal training - I'm sure the manager has given him some basic training and he wasn't horrible but NOT skilled. I asked, in advance, for a male and a deep tissue massage (I find they are usually better with deep tissue), I said I was in for an extremely bad/painful lower back and to focus there - he spent almost less time on my lower back than anywhere else and the few times he used pressure with his elbow, it was almost on my spine and was painful not in the right way So - summary - I would NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you are super desperate for a massage and you only want a relaxation massage, requiring less Massage knowledge and skill. Bring a friend so you don't feel so odd in this private apartment (and maybe some toilet paper in case you need to pee before or after the massage). And try to negotiate a rate more commensurate with a non-professional working out of their home.

They did chair and table massages. Everything from a quick 5 minute neck and shoulder massage ($5) to a 90 minute deep tissue massage ($190). There was no wait when I arrived. I asked for a 20 minute shoulder, neck and head massage and the guy who was there did not disappoint. I had never had a chair massage before but I was in serious need of a massage and figured it would be better than nothing. Turned out to be the best massage I've ever had! In 20 minutes he accomplished what my usual masseuse takes an hour to do. They're located in The Falls right across from the TCBY and next to Mrs Field's Cookies in an actual store location, not just chairs out in the open in the middle of the mall. It is a little weird the entrance door is all blacked out. In the lobby at the front desk a guy greets me. I tell him I will do half hour as I only want to do my back. This man is a first class hustler because he keeps trying to talk me into an hour and then into 45min. I stick to the half hour as I don't know what therapist I get either way. I am guided to the room and to snap a picture, I try to turn up the light switch. Now did I not know it was the volume button and suddenly I'm blasting spa music in the building:) A man that doesn't speak English walks in. I try to show him where it hurts. He was very friendly. But he's close to a dominatrix because I was in pain half of the time even I asked to be more gentle. I'm bony and my muscles aren't really in good shape so I feel like he will tear something any time. He works fast, you don't feel like time is being wasted. In the end warm towels and hot stones are being used. I asked to put my arthritis cream on the sore spot on my spine and he is very helpful to do so. The massage was 31min long so it wasn't shorter than what you pay for. I got dressed and walked out. I tipped the therapist and then try to handle the rest with the front desk attendant. I show the yelp check in, and he says it's only for hour massages. The yelp check in offer says any so he ends up giving me the discount. I did tip half of that back to him. The front desk is pushing the hustle mentality a little too far. I don't know if it's a Chinese thing but it is borderline rude. I rather find a place where I can come often to take care of my back issues then being pushed into paying more and talked into something I don't want. Service is good depending on therapist you get but if you like deep tissue then you are at the right location for that!
