My total was about $150 (the office visit is $75 and the influenza + covid test was an additional $70) but the tests were rapid tests you can get at CVS but hey, they don't take insurance so I don't mind that too much. ALSO keep in mind they do not take ANY insurance, I didn't know that before I came in, I just thought they had a flat fee for folks who don't have any. What I did mind was when I called back today, I needed an accommodation letter or note for my job so they have documentation that allows me to work from home and whoever answered was quite rude (a male that wasn't the receiptionist woman I had seen before and also wasn't Dr. Gluzman). The itemized receipt was also... interesting & I'm just hoping my HSA doesn't put a hold on my account because of it. What's also interesting was some of the political commentary on Biden & queer folks that seemed unnecessary (I'm a lesbian so it probably bothered me more than it would others but I'm also good at ignoring stuff like this lol) but other than that they were kind and got me in & out. Unfortunately I did test positive for COVID but at least this Dr. even thought to test me for that, the last urgent care doctor didn't even think to do that.

I went to Valley Urgent Care for a thumb injury that required stitches. While I was seen quickly…read moredue to it being rather empty, the overall quality of care was disappointing and felt unprofessional. After the practitioner finished stitching my thumb, 9 stitches for $330, a total of $460. The medical attendant assigned to clean the wound did not do a thorough job leaving blood all over my hand and thick curdled blood near my wound. I was also told that stitch removal would cost $30. I was only informed to keep water away from my hand by the practitioner and was supplied with gauze and bandages from the attendant that was supposed to clean my wound. The only other info i got was when i was asked. For example i asked if its okay to use Neosporin when changing my bandage. Nothing was said to me about needing to do anything else. For the next 10 days until my revisit i slowly cleaned closer to my wound. Ten days later, I returned as instructed by the doctor to have the stitches removed. This time, a different practitioner (she was great) treated me and questioned why non-absorbable stitches had been used in the first place, suggesting that absorbable stitches could have avoided the need for a return visit altogether. The practitioner also noticed that my wound did not heal correctly because it was not properly cleaned. And a lot of the time during the visit i was waiting for my wound to soak so it could be cleaned because the skin hardened. Since I don't have insurance, my return visit cost $130. Having to spend another $130 for something that could have been avoided is rather disappointing. There is obvious inconsistencies in their pricing, since the fee for stitch removal changed from the intial price disclosed. I told the front desk that this is pretty messed up that I have to pay full price for something that i could have avoided, not only was my time wasted but also my money. I guess as a way to say sorry they waived the $10 stitch removal fee (Yay!). Unfortunately, that fee waiver didn't change my overall experience. The inconsistent pricing, questionable treatment decisions, and lack of professionalism left me feeling disappointed. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to return or recommend Valley Urgent Care to others.

Showed up and they tell me I'm too late by 20 min and want me to pay for another test. F them Why tf did you tell me to head over? TWENTY MINUTES. Update: school nurse called them to tell them they can check up to 96 hours and 20 minutes late of the 72 hour mark shouldn't make a difference. Front desk was super rude to her as well and would not give manager info. Kept saying we have to call back Monday which is way passed the 96 hour mark

I hate crowded waiting rooms, so I booked an appointment online the night before after seeing great reviews and noting the Cedars background. Fyi there's construction on Ventura right now, so drive around to the back and park up the ramp and they do validate! The front desk was so nice and upfront about copays right away. I was called back quickly for vitals, and Dr. Zadorian was great. He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. The facility is spotless, professional, and I was in and out in under an hour. Definitely my new go to whenever something comes up.

Do not trust this urgent care with a real emergency…read more I walked in before their own posted closing time, actively short of breath from an asthma flare-up, a condition explicitly listed on their website as something they treat. Before they'd even check my insurance, they tried to hit me with an outrageous fee, no verification, no explanation. Then, without so much as a basic assessment, no vitals, no exam, nothing, staff told me to "go to the hospital," while I could hear them discussing how the doctor wanted to close early. My breathing problem wasn't the priority. Getting me to pay up and getting me out the door was. This isn't a minor inconvenience. Quoting a patient a large fee before even confirming their coverage, then turning them away in respiratory distress without an evaluation so staff could leave early, is a serious failure. Both financially predatory and a failure of basic care. Between the inflated fee and being refused care I came in during business hours for, this feels less like an off day and more like a pattern of putting money and convenience over patients. I would not trust this location with any health need much less emergency.

I would especially like to recognize Brenda, Maria Florenciano, and Dr. Carmelle Silveo for the exceptional care they provided. Each of them took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. What impressed me the most was that they did not rush the process despite the high patient volume. They made sure I received the proper evaluation and testing, while also explaining everything clearly so that I could fully understand what was happening and feel confident about the care I was receiving. Their attention, patience, and compassion truly gave me peace of mind. It is clear that this team takes pride in the care they provide and truly values their patients. Experiences like this make a stressful situation much easier, and I am very grateful for the kindness and professionalism shown to me. Thank you again to Brenda, Maria Florenciano, and Dr. Carmelle Silveo for going above and beyond. Exer Urgent Care is very fortunate to have such an amazing team.

Nurse Michael Scott, though he did not introduce himself, overheard the conversation and provided his insight. Did I get the information that I needed, yes. If this was a gas station that would be totally acceptable. I am a mother who is concerned for the well-being of her son, scared, deprived of sleep because our regular pediatrician is closed on the weekend. What I expected was the basic, kindness and warmth most doctors give, especially when a child is involved Instead, Nurse Scott was rude, short & condescending. If I knew how to correctly diagnose my son I would not be seeking help from professionals. What might seem to be basic information to you Nurse Scott may not be for the general public- so the snub attitude was unnecessary. Thankfully my son was out of earshot when you started to talk about anal sex and how that could likely be a reason for what I thought was going on with my 4 year old son. Lastly, it's about 9am Sunday June 28th 2026, you all have been open for an hour now. I hope by now you have warmed up and the next patients that come in do not have the same experience that I had. I pray that whatever you saw in us that was undeserving of an introduction of a doctor, understanding, empathy & patience changes.
