Next to a salon called Infinite and there are a lot of parking available there.

To me, this is your typical asian office. What I like was that this office did not have that medical office, funky herbal scents or massage salon smell. The office was very clean and well kept. To me, the staff was nice and as expected. Some folks may not understand Melinda as her accent maybe strong and can come off wrong but she is nice, a very direct person and funny at times, too. I am used to that as I understand their culture. The only downside is she is the receptionist too and does not always get to the phone. Her phone skills are ok and better in person. She does offer hours from Monday -Saturday though! I really come here for the medical services she offers and from all the Yelp reviews, she does an awesome job and makes sure that all her patients have the treatments needs; all needs are different. Melinda was very thorough with explaining the procedures that she would do to my back and what she will do in my weekly appointments. I suffer from a pinched nerve on my tailbone and with that an irritated disk. I have gone here twice now and all experiences have been great. The needles are put in gently on the surface of my skin and she pushes it in by tapping it little by little. She states for it to work, it has to go, at least, half an inch below the skin! Aiy yah!! She uses a little electro machine to attach to the needle. I have to have this on for at least 20min-40 min depending on the severity of my pain that week. She states this way it will stimulate the muscles better that are inflamed. I know it will take time for my back to heal and seems to relieve the pinched pain but of course, its not a cure. I know I will have to have regular maintenance of her procedures. Good thing I am not afraid of needles! The best part was the little massage that was part of my treatment as they are severe; not all treatments will receive massages. I got it done by Annie who works Mon, Wed and Friday. For a little lady, she has some strong hands! Very nice, too! I wish she could do it for longer!! Maybe, she would if I paid her! LOL ;) I can't wait for my next week appt. I am glad I found this office through Yelp. Thanks Yelpers for the suggestion. She will be my acupuncturist from now on....

I saw her regularly for about 3 months, including following her advice and drinking herbs, and became pregnant at 3 months of seeing her!! Really! I have been to previous acupuncture businesses over the years for various other things. Acupuncture really works! I have been to one other fancy & pricey acupuncture business last year, but was not happy with their intense vibe and approach, so I highly recommend traditional Chinese medicine such as at this office. Both acupuncturists are very friendly and speak English and Chinese. In terms of price here, if it helps you live a pain free life or accomplish a certain goal then it is worth it! Prices were fair and comparable.

As a previous nurse practitioner, I know quite well the benefits and limitations of modern medicine. My husband would get these colds on and off (like literally every 2 weeks in the winter sometimes) and the recommended Western medicine regimen can only help marginally. After just a session of Dr. Fu's acupuncture, cupping, and some herbal teas, he would bounce right back. The duration and frequency of these colds are also considerably shortened. I see Dr. Wong for an assortment of chronic ailments. The most memorable is when I had a bad case of acne on my face and back. I had been using a clindamycin solution and tretinoin cream that was prescribed to me for 2 months without much improvement. However, after 1 week of her herbal teas, my acne cleared up. Her teas are about the only thing that works for my acne. So glad we found them!

While I did not personally receive acupuncture treatment from Megan herself, I had two acupuncture sessions with members of her team, and both experiences were great. Megan is truly a gem when it comes to fertility nutrition and supplement guidance to support infertility treatments. I had two virtual appointments with her, and before each one, she took the time to understand my progress, changes, and specific concerns. Every appointment felt highly personalized and tailored to my needs. Beyond the virtual appointments, we exchanged countless emails about supplement adjustments and questions as I navigated the ups and downs of fertility treatment. Her responses were always thoughtful, supportive, and incredibly helpful. After more than a year of diet and supplement changes while working with Megan, I delivered a healthy baby boy this April. It truly took a village of care teams, along with a lot of self-dedication, to make this miracle happen. The infertility journey was an incredibly bumpy and lonely road at times, and I am so grateful for Megan's support and encouragement throughout the process.

The space is also very clean and calming, which made every visit feel peaceful and supportive.

Since then, unfortunately, I've also broken my arm and my hand at different times, and every single time the treatment produced exponentially better results than I expected. There have been periods where the wear and tear on my hands and arms from playing guitar, editing productions, and working long hours in my studio left me feeling genuinely worried that my arm only had a few usable years left. I went from debilitating pain and stiffness to completely forgetting that was even a period of my life. I now go weekly, especially since I play hockey twice a week, and the difference in my mobility, pain levels, and overall body comfort has been huge. I move better, recover faster, and just feel more normal in my body again. I can't recommend Eastern Medical Center enough, especially Teresa Shen. She has a deep, passionate history with the practice and has done an incredible job modernizing the process while staying rooted in real, effective care. She's thoughtful, attentive, and clearly invested in long term results, not just short term fixes. I'd rate this place 6 out of 5 if I could.

Teresa at Eastern Medical Center proved me wrong. My experience with her was nothing short of transformative; it wasn't just a treatment, it was a complete reset. Teresa possesses a rare gift for healing that balances profound technical knowledge with true, instinctual intuition. She didn't just place needles; she seemed to listen to what my body needed and found the root of issues I've been dealing with for years. She is hands-down the most intuitive provider I have ever met. Beyond the treatment, the vibe at this clinic is amazing--it is a sanctuary of healing. The hospitality is top-tier, starting with the receptionist/office host who is incredibly kind, organized, and welcoming. They make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. If you want a sterile, clinical experience, look elsewhere. But if you want a warm, welcoming environment and a practitioner who can truly transform your health, make an appointment with Teresa immediately. 10/10 recommended.

She sat me down and did a very thorough intake interview with me. Never did that with any acupuncturist or doctor. It was more like therapy really. She took notes on what physical pain I had, but more importantly, asked in depth questions on what emotional and mental obstacles I may be suffering that may be be contributing/causing the pain. This is so refreshing to experience. "Light bulb turning on" kind of moment. I knew right then, I'd be in very good hands. Since then, I've done needles, ear seeds, and cupping with Lynn. Each has its own merits. I especially love the ear seeds. They're little herbal balls with a tiny bandage to cover it. She'll use a little tool to find the correct spot for your ailment and stick the seed there, hold it in place with the bandage, and then press to activate. For me, it works almost instantly and you can keep them in your ear for as long as it'll stay there. I've kept some of mine for almost a month. Depressing the little seeds whenever I needed it. Almost addicting really. It really works for my back! Cupping is fun, too! For those that love a deep tissue massage, this is your jam! It's even deeper and I feel more penetrating than a massage. It feels amazing! Bottom line: Don't just give acupuncture a try...go to Lynn. She's not looking to treat a symptom and send you off. She's looking to help you find the root cause, help you work through it, and help you live a pain free life.
