My plate came with hashbrowns and sourdough toast, which I boxed up and brought home for my husband's lunch. I was very pleased with the price of my plate, only $15.50, less than some of the sandwiches. Steak was OK, a little more well done than I would've liked, but I'm not complaining. The wait staff are also kind and efficient. Restaurant is clean and everybody seems to know everybody else in this tiny town.

On the day that we visited, Falconer Meats was hosting an event called "MEAT US IN THE COUNTRY". Vendors were selling handcrafted items and farm stand produce. There was a BBQ food truck as well as an ice cream food truck. A winery was offering samples! It was an absolute delight to meet the nice folks from llama Adventures at Buffalo Creek, displaying their animals, as well as some of their handcrafted llama fur items.
