Really excited to find this hole in the wall in Arcade! I actually said "wow" when I bit into their piping hot Malibu chicken sandwich -- the combo of marinated portobello mushrooms, sautéed sweet peppers & onions, & melty pepper Jack cheese was just so tasty! My husband & I are fairly new to Cattaraugus county and have found it hard to find really good lunch food - beyond deep fried stuff & pizza - but this lunch was really solid. A mustardy/tangy potato salad accompanied my dish. Hubby got a great burger tho the fries were really sub par. Still --- a very tasty lunch, and we'll definitely be back! read more

First time my family and me dining at this Bar & Grill. Along with 2 other family members,I tried the Zuppa Toscana (soup of the day). We agreed it was excellent. For my main course, I had the 'Black and Blue' Sirloin Steak Dinner with French Fries & Coleslaw. Besides the 2 other family members who only had soup, 2 tried Friday's fish offerings, 1 ate wings & the last had the 'Weck & Chick' (Beef on Weck & Chicken Fingers). All agreed, each of their choices were great as well. The portions were also generous. There is a full bar with draft beer, so I ordered the Lake View Lager, which was nice & refreshing. The prices are moderate at about $14.00 for sandwiches and $14-$19 for dinners. The soup is $5.00/bowl. The service was wonderful. This was due to the staff being very accommodating and our server being outstanding. She went above and beyond, never missing the mark. The décor is bright & modern southwestern with decorative lizards on the walls. There wasn't any music played here on this night, however public Wi-Fi was available. Takeout is also an available option. My family and I definitely will be visiting this establishment again. read more

Ordered Malibu chicken over salad and chicken fingers and beef on weck. Waited over an hour for the food on a Wednesday night 6pm. They were filling take out orders before seated customers. The waitress was very efficient but seemed to avoid us, coming over after we'd waited 45 minutes with some lame excuse about why the order wasn't ready. The food was okay nothing to rave about and should never have taken 30 minutes let alone over an hour to prepare. Delicious fish fry! Highly recommend the Parmesan crusted fish. It was probably best fish fry that I have ever had.

I have always enjoyed this place. One of the staples of a fab place is the ownership. And L&B tolerate me and my churlish charm. Plus they have Thirsty Thursday and Taco Tuesday! Alliteration is not only awesome but delicious. The prices are fair, and the staff has taken the time to know my name. I can build an amazing burger that has been constructed just for me. The pizza logs are exceptional and so are the wraps. Did I mention they have entertainment? Because they do. Music. Pool table. Virtual juke box. Trivia night. Sports on the TV. Plus the local folks are plenty of fun. Give this place a chance and tell them Eric sent you. When they're done laughing at you, order a delicious lunch or dinner. We stopped in tonite for the prime rib which was sold out as a result of them taking orders before people actually get to the restaurant and then placed an order and after waiting an hour we were told it was on the grill- ten minutes later the waitress came to our table to say they havnt even started our meals because they had 14 to go orders ahead of us! Why would they take so many to go orders before feeding the people actually sitting in the restaurant ?!?! Poor management and/or ownership.... probably will never go here again... hoping the owner sees this and corrects this so others don't have this happen to them- Needless to say we left restaurant and went down the road to John & Mary's read more

Decided to try since they changed owners and names. Being vegetarians, it is always a challenge to find a good small town restaurant that has meatless fare. We managed to find a few items. I had the portabella mushroom burger while my wife had the tuna melt. Both were very flavorful. The service was quick and we even got a visit from the cook to ask how the food was. The only downside was the dryness of the waitress and the fries were a bit greasy. I would go back... Not for a special night, but for a casual night out. read more

It's been a long time since I was last here. Friendly staff, had the French dip special it was great. Roast beef was excellent and not from a deli with fresh cut fries cooked just right. I can now recommend the place and I will go back a few more times to try new things. read more

I love this place! Every time I come here, I leave satisfied. The owners, Liz and Barry are wonderful, the waitress Kathy is great and the food is delicious. The Beef on Weck? YUM- forget the BarBill- MSG is way better. I highly recommend the place! read more

Never had a bad meal here, love the chicken fingers and burgers and their fries are excellent! Very good service and the owner is so nice. Definitely recommend. Only reason it's 4 stars is the lay out is kind of annoying, in their main dining area theres a huge table for big parties and their right on top of all the other tables. Last time I went their was a crying baby and it pretty much ruined the experience. read more

Came in for lunch with my sister and my 3 year old son. Kids mac-n-cheese was great for him. We both got amazing burgers, black and blue and swiss/mushroom, huge, juicy, cooked perfectly and all around wonderful. Fresh cut fries were perfect too. Service was attentive and friendly. The only strike against the place is that the benches in the booths are smaller than the tables... but who cares, it was more than worth the money. I definitely recommend this stop. read more

Since I moved to arcade I have been here many times. Every meal I have ever had has been excellent. Tonight we had the fish fry and it didn't disappoint. The only downfall is the service is slow and there isn't very much seating room. read more

I used to go to this place when it was the Grey Fox, but this food was ok. The fries were a bit underdone, but the extra large beef on weck was quite juicy. Not bad prices for beer on tap with $2.75 PBR's if interested. read more

Tried their food at the Wing Fling Benefit. Jerk chicken - very odd texture made one cautious when eating it. Very spicy - some Senior Citizens were complaining. Macaroni and Cheese - What brand was that? Kraft? Tasted like store-bought box - boring. The apple whatever dessert - Blah! read more

I NEVER asked for you to comp our entire meal. That is a bold faced LIE!! That never ONCE CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH either at your establishment or on the telephone. I told you my husband and my son's girlfriend left half way through their meal to buy Benadryl but I didn't even ask for their meals to be comp. Their meals were in no way completely finished. Bottom line is this owner did not take responsibility for his restaurant's error and there has never been an apology given to my nephew or our family, at the time of incident or when I telephoned the restaurant. Instead we were treated with hostility at the time and now the owner is LYING that I asked for our meals to be comp. I WOULD DO YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY A FAVOR AND NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! The owner does not care about cross contamination in his kitchen and the next person may end up DYING from his negligence. read more

New owners, needed a chance to get it right. Ive Had several meals and the first few needed some tweaking.. I've since had several delicious meals and the service was great. the Beef on WECK was deli meat the first few weeks, but now is a delicious cut of roast. Handmade fries and mozzarella planks are extra yummy. Support local businesses and good people, try a meal. If you don't like it, try something different or don't go back. read more

Waitress was great. Food was eh. Ordered potato skins as an appetizer and it came out with a plastic tube of sour cream. All they have to do is at least put the sour cream in a little cup and it would have been better. Slice of blue cheese instead of crumbly blue cheese on black and blue burger. Kids meal of apple sauce and chicken fingers....fingers were rock hard. Apple sauce was still in the container they purchased it in from. Would expect that from a chain but not a small local eatery. I must say I really enjoy the Main Street Burger, you can build your own. I like it with bacon, cheddar, crispy fired onions, and BBQ! Dang is it ever good! I also like the chicken wings! I order that at least once a week, and they have a great staff, always friendly. read more
