I was in the mood to absolutely demolish a burger, so I was set on my decision upon entry. I was a bit shocked to see that their burger only came with one 1/4 patty, that's a fairly small burger. So I elected to add an extra patty on that thang (don't judge me). There was no sort of selection as far as how to cook the burger, so it ended up being a bit dry for my liking. It was supposed to be your traditional bbq / blue cheese style burger, but I don't think there was any sauce on it once I got it. Of course I made my own with the condiments provided (nice work having cholula, I have no idea why places carry traditional Tabasco from the pre-historic days). This restaurant is perfectly serviceable, especially for a small airport. The side salad and regular salad are actually surprisingly decent for what you would expect too. I just think there's a few things that they can easily adjust to make the burger much better.

Well, that didn't last long because I finally got my hands on them and they're so good! There are a few donut places in town but this sure stands out. Fried in beef tallow, these donuts fill your craving for a guilty pleasure without giving you that almost regrettable feeling after you eat them. They offer a nice variety of flavors but my stand outs have to be the original glazed, Nutella, and huckleberry. I thought I would really love the creme brulee but the cream inside had a strange sour tang to it that my palette did not enjoy. When you walk in, you'll recognize the same expected red and white ambiance with large grills full of fresh patties, fryer baskets full of fresh cut peanut oil fries, and assembly lines of people placing fresh toppings on burger buns. Can't go wrong here, it's by design. I don't know why anyone would ever settle for a fast food burger when this is an option. With that said, I suggest trying to eat "there" vs. getting to go. Maybe it's nostalgia, but to me, it just tastes better that way.
