Once in awhile, you just need a fix and that's why I came here, along with my free frosty key tag. Drive through might hold the world record for slowest in the world. Do yourself a favor and go inside to order if the line is too long. Food is decent and exactly what you'd expect from a typical Wendy's. The $5 bag is a good value in my opinion. Stopped in for a snack, was trying to order the new $4 "Biggie Bites" deal. Not a full meal, to read the sign it says to select two of the following and then lists: sm drink, sm fries, 4 piece nugget, Jr Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. To read it, it seems that you can order any two from that list, but that is not the case. The actual deal is Sm Drink OR Sm fries, and then one of the other items, sandwich or nuggets. Despite the wording, the system will not allow you to order two sandwiches. There was no additional text or disclaimer, I checked, so advertising is wrong. The manager, Brenda, saw fit to lecture me on how to order, ignore what the sign said, but the manner in which she did so was very condescending. "Sir, for the future, you should understand the order ...". When I mentioned fixing their advertising she just waved her hand and said that I could call somebody and walked off. I did also discover that the individual who had started taking my order initially did not know the ingredients on their sandwiches, as she informed me that the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger did not come with mayonnaise when I ordered it with no mayo. It clearly states on the wendys.com site that it comes with Heinz Mayo. Of course, the sandwich I eventually got was dripping with mayo. We live two minutes away from this Wendy's, and we went to Wendy's today and stood in line for about five minutes and decided it would be faster to go to the one on the Carlisle Pike. The cashier was slow, didn't really know what she was doing. The drive thru IS ALWAYS slow. My boyfriend waited 20 minutes just at the speaker in the drive thru. This place needs shut down. For years this place has been messed up. The food is usually good, but the service is the problem. You have to wait in the drive-through line for 25 minutes sometimes. There's always some excuse. Even after all that waiting your fries are still cold. Today I left the drive-through line without even getting food or paying. Apparently their computer system was down. After 10 minutes waiting with the cashier just staring off into space I asked for my credit card back and just left. What a joke. Maybe it's better if you go inside, but then you run the risk of certain death with Covid of course. Do yourself a favor and just cook at home. read more

A quick stop for lunch....NOT! This has turned us off for sure! My mom ordered a kids meal with Chocolate milk, no out of Chocolate milk; a water then, no out of bottled water; ok lets try rootbeer--seriously out! The bun was so hard she couldn't eat it! If I could give no stars I would. I simply was reading the menu and the girl at the takeout kept asking, " is that all". Then I said after she asked three times in a row. I'm still looking at the menu. She replied" well you didn't say anything". This was at 9 pm btw. Do not come here after hours. After about 20 minutes I FINALLY got the 3 small fries I ordered. We just sat at the window for ever and the lady was scary. I also wanted a chocolate shake but they only had vanilla. Okay not a fast food fan but I never had a bad spicy chicken sandwich here. So I figured I would drop in for lunch today on my way to an appointment and grab a 2bl hot and juicy burger! I know lunch time right busy busy busy! Not the case there were a few cars in the lot and only 1 in the drive thru so I opted in and ordered a 2bl cheese burger med meal! Well another case of where's the beef? 1 burger short of a double! Went back to counter they added another patty to my sand not sure if I should have gotten a second slice of cheese but I didn't. Now sit down to look at two dried up squares that were probably sitting awhile in prep for the lunch rush which by the way I am in the lot writing this and the lunch rush isn't happening! The only juicy thing on the burger was the thin slice of tomato. Also I did watch them get the fries from under the warmer but they were cool almost warm too! The horrible reviews should be a sign that maybe another location should be added to the area. While I'm not a huge proponent for fast food, sometimes this mama is busy and would like a 4 for $4 without taking more time than it would to go into the grocery store and cook a four course meal myself. Not only does the drive-thru take an awfully long time, but the entrance is one that warrants a life or death situation. Awkwardly placed on a hill, it is difficult to see who's coming in/out, and people speed through it. While it may not be the staff's fault, this location in general just elicits a second look at the logistics. read more

Wow! This Wendy's is a disaster, and a genuine fast food hell hole. First, if there's more than two cars ahead of you in the drive thru, you're going to wait 10 minutes to even get to the speaker to place your order. Upon placing your order, the English-as-a-second-language order taker ignores what you've said and tells you to wait, because he's already confused by the orders he's gotten from the two cars in front of you. When he collects himself and gets back to you a minute later, you order a Dave's double with lettuce and onion and no mayo or ketchup. You're told they have no lettuce because it's "been recalled." (This is a major burger chain and they don't have lettuce? Are there no supermarkets nearby where lettuce can easily be obtained?) Anyway, you manage to get to the food window after another 10 minutes and a fat teenager takes your money, passes out your food and drink without a word (Thanks or Have a nice day or anything) and you look into your bag and find you need to ask for salt and napkins, which apparently are no longer standard issue at Wendy's. Then you pull into a parking space and find that (Surprise, Surprise!) the burger has no lettuce (which you expected,) no onion (which you requested) and a chunk of tomato and gobs of mayo (which you expressly said you didn't want.) Well, now you've wasted over half your lunch break, so you go inside to speak to the manager to make things right, not in the best of moods. And there he is! Tim, the unshaven, condescending little ass hat who's supposedly there to insure customer satisfaction and fast food efficiency. (You have to ask Tim if he's the manager, because even though he seems to be the oldest guy behind the counter he doesn't seem to think that wearing the little badge with name and position is in keeping with his superior rank, and tends to clash with his unkempt "man of the people" image.) Anyway, Tim acts like it's my fault his crew screwed up my order, doesn't offer to remake the order, and says he'll give me a refund. I tell him I don't want a refund, I want the food I ordered and paid for, but he doesn't give me the time of day. Just hands me my money back and leaves me with no lunch, no satisfaction, and a real nasty taste in my mouth for Wendy's in general and Tim in particular. As I'm leaving, I see an Orkin pest control guy walking out the back entrance to his Orkin truck with his spray can and holding something in a box at arm's length. (No lie- call Orkin and ask them if they paid a visit to this Wendy's on Wednesday September 28!) So, I look up to the sky and thank God for not letting me eat cockroach trodden burger or rat droppings and promise Him I'll never go to this Wendy's again. This is the most gawd-awful wendys in the franchise. Today, we tried to order medium and large drinks however, the person taking our order can't seem to get it together long enough to get it right. We got smalls because it was easier. The rest of the meal was worse. Both of our sandwichs were lukewarm at best. The fries were soft.... not kinda crispy,... and certainly soaked thru if you know what that is. I can say that since we ordered frosties.... that seemed to go over with least effort and without issue. Save your time and trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Every time we stop here it's like the place is full of first day employees. The line is incredibly long and yet the tables (which, by the way are all filthy) are almost all empty. Employees are clearly annoyed with each other - not all out arguing, but definitely disagreeing about how to run this show, there in front of guests. Today's visit was slow as molasses, our feet stuck to the dirty floor, and not a single table in the place looked like it had been wiped any time recently. The drink machine is visibly dirty.
