this place always messes up my food. i dread coming here but it's one of the only fast foods in the hill with drive thru. the workers there are awful. it's like your talking to a wall when your ordering, i almost never get a receipt and have found myself going BACK thru the drive thru multiple times bc they forgot something. workers are never paying attention, always on their phones, and just all around some shitty teenagers who need a min wage job and don't care if your food is warm or not lol. don't recommend this place, go somewhere else if u can. read more

My husband and i went last week to this wendys and got our order to go. We ordred 2 doubles and got just about to hillsborough and seen we only got singles. So we thought we would give it a try again today. Well we had 3 people waiting to give there order and 2 waiting to get there food.Which is ok but everybody that was waiting there orders was wrong.So i spoke clearly and told the guy what i wonted and so did my husband. Well our order was wrong and i got a coke zero from the machine it was out so i went to the other one and it was out. I dont know what happen to that place. We use to go there and get good hot food and great service. Now the people behind the counter acts like we r bothering them.. Never did see a manager at all. I hope u get what is wrong fixed cause its bad when burger king down the road does a better job. And just think people want 15. dollars a hr and they cant even get a simple order right! read more

Once came here and got a 4 for 4 that was absolute shit. Workers forgot to give me all four chicken nuggets, the double stack was squished and crushed in its wrapper. Other days it's pretty good for in dining, workers are friendly if you're friendly (most of the time). read more

The girl working the window couldn't hear me over the intercom and got mad when I raised my voice a little so she could hear me. When I got to the window the girl had an attitude. I gave her $20 for my $7.41 order then she gave me my food and then walked away. I said i didnt get my change and she said oh there working on it. My order was $7.41 and i gave her $20 they gave me back $10.59. Bad customer service and apparently they can't do simple math. Horrible service. We waited ten minutes for three frosties, and there was no one in line in front of us. I don't mind waiting, but literally, all they had to do was fill a three cups with soda and ice cream, and it took them ten minutes. The employees looked pretty unhapppy. The lady at the register was rude and short with her replies to a senior citizen as well to us. She didn't care if you ordered or not or whether you were ready or not. The ketchup was out at the dispencer as well as the drink machine. We had a bajank table that was dirty and floors not swept. @ Supply station the lids were strown everywhere and spilt drink was all over it. Needed cleaning. Would give it at least 2 stars if my order was correct and at least somewhat fresh. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes because they could only take one car at a time, meaning they had one person giving out food and taking orders which caused the severe wait. I heard the guy tell the lady in front of me twice to continue to hold and she waited 4 minutes at the speaker box before she even ordered. When I got to the window it took him 3-4 minutes before he even opened the window to take payment. I didn't get a receipt, my order was incorrect and everything was almost ice cold. Definitely need to get better management to train staff or at least learn to multitask. If I wanted to wait 20 mins for food I would go to a sit down restaurant. read more

Worst Wendy's I've ever been to. You wait in line at the drive-thru FOREVER, and then they give you the wrong order to top it all off. This happens at least 2 out of 3 times I go there after I get off work after working late. I know, I know, I'm a glutton for punishment, but Wendy's is about the only place open that late, which is its one saving grace. But at this rate, I'm starting to think it may just be better to save my money and go to bed hungry and eat a bigger breakfast the next morning. That's how ridiculous the complete and utter failure of the staff at this Wendy's to get simple orders correct has become. Wendy's is a real staple of the Carrboro. Admittedly a real life saver come 2 am when Timeout is packed! Older guy in the drive-thru has the patience of a saint and seems to always add a little humor to my order. Only real complaint being they're ALWAYS out of at least a few things if you pull up around dinner time. Consistently mediocre, but at least they keep grinding 24hrs! read more

Okay. So, there was a "remodel" done sometime last year where this particular Wendy's was closed for a long time and no one knew why. Once they reopened, we all rejoiced because it's literally one of three fast food places in the area. Now, the first time we went, something was off right away. We went home and checked our food and found out the spicy nuggets we ordered were just original. No big deal, easy mistake. Plus, they just reopened so I cut them some slack. Now, I'm not joking, every single time we go to this restaurant, they ALWAYS get our order wrong. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Once, they forgot an entire bag that included some dollar menu burgers. Luckily we checked before we left. Most recently, we ordered 2 spicy nuggets, 2 regular nuggets, a large fry, and a frosty. It was late, so we had to pull over to let the nuggets cook, which we didn't mind. They brought out the order and forgot the frosty, to which they promptly went back into the shop, so we had to get back in line to get the frosty. They gave us a medium instead of a small to make up for it which was nice but my goodness, how do they get it wrong every single time? I keep wondering if it's just me who gets the mess ups or if it's other people too. I'm not dissing the workers, I know what working in retail is like, especially during rush hours. But the management should at least get it together. I'd give this a 0/5 if I could. read more

Maybe it's because I always go through the drive-thru... maybe I should stop giving them another chance, but I'm tired of them getting my orders wrong. Forgetting sauces, not taking down the order correctly, etc. etc. Like another reviewer said -- go here only if you really have to. Be prepared to check your bag to make sure they got your order correctly and didn't forget your sauces or drinks. read more

All I ask for is accuracy and consistency. I work within walking distance and this is the closest fast food restaurant, not to mention I really like Wendy's. I go at least 3x a week and at least 1 of those times something is wrong with my order. I've worked in the food industry before and am very forgiving (obviously) but today I went through the drive through on my way back to work. Got to work to find my order incomplete, WALKED back, they apologized and made everything fresh, got back to work to find they gave me the wrong sandwich!! No, I did not go back and I think I'm done with them for awhile. Just give me what I ordered, confirm the order and serve it with a smile. read more
