Finally tried the Wednesday meal and it was great! At first glance you think well it's just chicken nuggets and fries but let me tell you the black cherry frosty is EVERYTHING! That is the best frosty I've ever had. The meal also comes with a mystery sauce that tasted like the sauce that's on sweet and sour chicken at any local Chinese restaurant but it compliments the nuggets and fries beautifully.

Cold fries with shredded cheese not warmed completely.

Food was cold Cheese on the fries was not melted. It was the shredded cheese type. Asked for it to be warmed up to which they replied they couldn't. Kids meal cheese cup was old looking and cold. This place has been going down hill for some time and they also stopped giving military 10 % discount. Used to be a great place to eat.

Them attempting to get an order right.

The customer service is sub par for one, and it's suppose to be fast food. They paid no attention to customers walking into the establishment. Took them over 20 min to fill a biggie bag order. Worst Wendy's that I've gone to this year. Will no longer stop by another Wendy's we I get hungry. No order what's so ever at this location. Even had employees walking out to take breaks while cooking. Can't believe I stopped there for a quick bite.

Really wanted Cherry Vanilla Coke but all the flavors were out.

Not my favorite location. I went here after work last tonight to grab something quick before a meeting and the drive through line was around the building. I decided instead to go inside thinking it would be faster. I was wrong. They had one person at the register despite there being a line. She was also the person packaging all the meals. I can understand her doing that if they are slow, but during a rush time, they need more people there to help out. The food was good, but I was saddened by my drink. They have one of those machines where you can add flavors to the drinks, but all the flavors were out. I don't go there enough to know if it's a regular thing or not, but hopefully they have someone check when it's out and refill it. Not my worst fast food experience by far, but it could definitely be improved.

The Smashburger was unlike any I'd had before as were the Hashbrowns. The others enjoyed their Gluten Free selections that were prepared in a separate fryer, which is so important for Gluten Free & Celiac sufferers. Their choices were Bacon egg n cheese biscuit, Fried Chicken (some of the BEST EVER) biscuit, Corn Dog and Waffle Fried Hashbrowns. We ordered a deluxe burger and a crust burger with curly fries. Both burgers were super good and juicy, and served piping hot and came out quick! The curly fries were a good choice too. The meat is well seasoned and they don't skimp you on the toppings. The service was really friendly also. The menus didn't offer an explanation of what everything was, so I had to ask. They have lots of sauces to choose from for your burger, so that's fun. I also think it's slightly pricey for getting just a burger with no fries, but maybe that's just me. I'll be back though, it was delicious!

If you're getting food, definitely try the blistered green beans, poutine, and the farmer's salad (which is like a Cobb salad/bowl, it's amazing) *but* my all-time fave is the fried chicken sandwich - it's honestly one of the best l've ever had in Charleston. Also, this place is huge so they were able to accommodate my friend's post-wedding party (about 20 people) at the last minute and we had a blast. Everywhere else we tried to go either didn't have the space for us or were closing so it totally made our night! We just made sure to call ahead to check and they were more than happy to have us - the bride was happy so you know it was good :) Bottom line, the Peacock is a local gem hidden in plain sight on East Bay and, as a local, it's become one of my top go-to's in Charleston. You can't beat the prices (seriously), ambience, quality, and awesome staff. They also have live music every week so they know how to keep it classy and lively at the same time. I highly recommend checking it out!

The staff went above and beyond, and the entire evening went off without a hitch. The bartenders were fantastic -- attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone's glasses were never empty (water included!). We also ordered one of our favorite dishes, the Farmer's Salad with Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious -- so good, in fact, that we dove right in and forgot to take a photo first! The food at the surrounding tables looked equally incredible; I'd especially recommend the cheese plate and the tuna. As a bonus, there's a nightclub on the second floor that gets lively on weekends, so the fun doesn't have to stop after dinner. If you haven't been to The Peacock yet, do yourself a favor and stop by -- great food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I went to the restaurant side which is a large, redesigned Victorian style house. We went in as in Walk -Ins but reservations are recommended. The service was fast and the food was phenomenal. The beef tartare was fresh, and easily shareable. Cocktails were brought out fast and both tasted delicious. The scallops and pork chop were some of the best we've had. The only slightly disappointing dish was the corn bread which was on the more dry side, however the collards more than made up for it. The only downside to this restaurant were the flies, I felt like I was battling both large and fruit flies my entire meal. There were so many. We were inside so I'm not sure where they were coming from. Would've been 5 stars had it not been for this.

First Visit to Husk -- Worth Every Bit of the Hype…read more After hearing so much about Husk over the years, we finally made our first visit--and somehow it still exceeded every expectation. Housed in a beautifully restored historic Charleston home, Husk perfectly captures everything you love about the city's charm. From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere feels warm, elegant, and inviting. We were seated upstairs in a gorgeous dining room where the tables were thoughtfully spaced, making the experience feel intimate rather than crowded. The hospitality was outstanding from start to finish, but our server, Chris, truly made the evening unforgettable. He welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm and, after taking our cocktail orders, walked us through the menu--which changes daily. Rather than simply listing dishes, Chris described each one in detail, explaining the flavors, ingredients, and preparations with such passion that you couldn't help but get excited about every option. It's rare to meet someone who so clearly loves what they do, and his knowledge and personality elevated our entire dining experience. We started with the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo and the Woodfired Oysters. The tuna, paired with delicate slices of cantaloupe, sounded like an unusual combination on paper, but somehow it was absolute perfection. Every bite was fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced. The oysters arrived warm, buttery, and perfectly seasoned--simple, yet incredibly satisfying. For my entrée, I ordered the Seared Diver Scallops served over creamed corn. I'll admit, I was hesitant because creamed corn has never been one of my favorites. But after Chris encouraged me to trust the dish--and after seeing how incredible the appetizers were--I went for it. I'm so glad I did. The scallops were perfectly seared, tender, and sweet, while the creamed corn was rich, fresh, and nothing like the version I had imagined. It completely changed my mind. My husband chose the Rabbit Roulade, which was cooked beautifully with just the right amount of spice to keep each bite interesting without overwhelming the dish. We also shared the Hearth-Baked Skillet Cornbread, and if you're debating whether to order it...don't. Just do it. It's absolutely worth it. Then came dessert. Chris walked us through several tempting options, including a mud pie, a watermelon ice pie, and a peach cobbler, along with Husk's house-made ice creams featuring flavors like Chocolate Peanut Butter and Key Lime Pie (plus a refreshing fruit sorbet). We settled on the Peach Cobbler along with scoops of the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Key Lime Pie ice creams. Every single bite was phenomenal. The cobbler tasted like summer in a bowl, while both ice creams were so flavorful and creamy that we kept passing them back and forth trying to decide which one we liked better. Spoiler alert: we never could. From the stunning historic setting and exceptional service to the thoughtfully crafted food, Husk delivered an experience that reminded us why Charleston has become such an incredible food destination. If Husk has been sitting on your "one day" list, consider this your sign. Make the reservation. Trust your server. Order dessert. And enjoy every single bite.

Everyone just fits in, no matter if you're the black sheep! Seating is a little limited, but worth the wait. I guess the first person I ran into was a manager, he introduced himself, (legit, "Hi my name is Bryan" and shook my hand!) (Post Script, the handshake is pervasive here, literally both bartenders were introduced to me and both came up and shook my hand.) I had checked this place out from other Yelp reviews and already knew I wanted the Fish and Chips, so after my beer order, I was shocked and awed that without asking, he brought the Malt Vinegar! You know it's gonna be the bomb already! The fish arrived very quickly! Bruh...this fish was legit. A large solo iceberg of fried perfection crested upon a wave of fresh made "chips " and they were clearly fresh made, not the frozen variety. The beer batter on this fish was so good I was in heaven. I thought it might be heavy and greasy, and yet somehow it held only flavor, crunch, and absorbed my Malt Vinegar to perfection. This place is packed with regulars and it clearly seems to attract other service industries personnel. All good signs of a good time! This may have been my first visit, but won't be my last!
