Went through the drive through and ordered two salads and a cookie. The drive thru order taker sounded very done and like she wanted to go home. My food was ready as soon as I came to the window. Both meals were cheap ($18) and the salad was decent. This is not a good chicken, it's like the rubbery bouncy chicken that you can tell is highly processed. The salad had a strange sweet flavor to it, which I couldn't pinpoint. It might have been the ranch but I'm not positive. The bacon all came in one strip instead of cut up, and that threw me off. That completely defeats the purpose of a drive-thru -- especially for people in a rush or with mobility issues. I waited at the counter for 20 minutes for someone to take my order. While they were moderately busy with the drive through the restaurant itself was empty and the man working the counter had plenty of time to stand around and do nothing while not taking my order. Luckily, the manager finally stepped in and asked if anyone had taken my order, and then promptly ignoring me in order to assist people who had just walked in for an online order. One star because I had to. Who owns or manages this place? Tonight we went and sat in drive thru for several minutes before giving up. As we drove by the windows, no one was there but all the lights were on. There was no sign at the intercom about closing early (again all lights on) other than one stating "Sorry for the inconvenience, we currently don't take Apple Pay." I can't believe the terrible experience I had tonight at this location. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to make my order. No apologies were made about the holdup. The cashier actually walked off at one point while I was waiting in line and said "I can't handle this." So while I'm waiting for my food I headed over to the coke freestyle machine to get my drink. It was empty. The only drink options on the machine were Sprite Zero products and regular coke. Then I went to sit down at a table while I continued to wait for my food. I could not find a clean table in the restaurant. Would have settled for one table that had a clean spot big enough for one person to eat at but that wasn't available. Last night (9/23), we pulled into the drive thru line. Probably 6 cars were ahead of us. It was 11:00 pm. The dining room lights were off but we could see several of the employees sitting in the dark in the dining area. We waited 20 minutes. One car moved so we assumed they were just moving slowly at preparing food. The employees could see all of us waiting in line. At 11:20, we decided it was taking way too long. We pulled around to see that 1) all the lights in the drive thru were on as if they were indeed open. 2) no one was in the kitchen area or drive thru windows working. 3) multiple employees were still sitting in the dark ignoring the line of customers waiting. I'm sure the owners don't know nor care how their business is run. But, the idea that your employees just sat and chilled while customers were waiting outside is both inconsiderate and rude. Maybe they need a break but everyone taking a break simultaneously is poor customer service. read more

Today, the line at the drive-thru was unusually busy (at least when compared to the few times I've come here). I ended up having to go in and decided to sit in, as I had some time before work. This was a terrible mistake. I entered the restaurant and the line inside was worse. I could see that everyone was working sloooowwwly and working on ONE order at a time. Not even entire orders, but individual items within each order! That's not even an exaggeration; it was absolutely ridiculous. And, they all looked tortured, not one smiling face in sight. By the time I was given my order, I had to ask them to wrap up my food to go, as I was now running late. Zero sense of urgency, zero concept of customer satisfaction, zero friendliness and zero apologies. If not for the mandatory one star, this place would get a big, fat zero from me. read more

Wendy's! Where we all go to get that chocolate frosty fix. You know you do it! We all do it. Just because you're a local business yuppy doesn't mean you don't crave fast food from time to time. But don't touch the vanilla frosties...I'm not sure where Wendy's came up with that disgraceful concoction. For fast food in general, Wendy's emerges on top of most. Lots of actually delicious salad creations. They're smart about catering to the changing times and dietary demands of the populace. The sandwiches are in good variety and at least actually make you FEEL like you're eating healthy (grilled chicken anybody?). The burger patties are IMO the best to be had on the cheap from a fast food joint. (I say on the cheap because Five Guys is clearly above and beyond this.) They even have some excellent strawberry lemonade. Last but not least, while most other fast foods have constantly tried to make their chicken nuggets appeal with change, Wendy's has stuck it out. Their nuggets are unbeatable as far as I'm concerned. And whoever came up with the 4 for 4 scheme is a genius of marketing. Makes me crave that and a frosty now just typing this... read more

I just tried the newest burger on Wendy's menu - Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger - and OMG!!...it was sooo good!! I went through the drivethru today (Tuesday) around 2:30pm and they did a great job of moving the line along quickly. I spotted the new burger listed on the menu and the accompanying picture was too tempting to resist. I really wanted to wait and eat it once I got home but the smells wafting from my paper bag were too irresistible...sorry, I was too busy devouring the burger to think about taking a picture of it for sharing. It really was an enjoyable burger. The bun was fresh, the hamburger was cooked just right, not too over or too under cooked, not overly greasy and the mixture of condiments, bacon and crispy onions was perfect. Just a great burger experience. I highly recommend it. read more

THIS WENDY'S SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! I arrived at this location at 3:18pm and there were already 6 cars that I could see at the drive thru. I have no idea why the door was locked to go inside but it was. There was no sign on the door except for the hours of operation and a yellow cone in front of the door. It's 3:42pm and I STILL haven't made it to the call box yet. I only get 30 min for lunch! No major issues with my most recent visit here. It was about 830 or 9pm. I probably sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes waiting to get up to the window, which I surprisingly wasn't phased by. My chicken nuggets and fries were fresh and hot, which I was very thankful for. Customer service is decent. I've been here multiple times and have never had any issues in that area. One thing that did go wrong this visit was that I asked for no ice in my drink and they put ice in it. But that wasn't the end of the world. read more

So I understand fast food is not a five star experience. But this Wendy's is horrific. We stopped for a quick bite before heading out to see a show in Charlotte. So as we approached the counter the girl and the register just stared at us and finally said " hi". That's it. I proceed to order and apparently confused the hell out of her because I didn't want the chicken sandwich as is, I added other toppings. Then my friend asked for a " non premium " bun on his. Meaning he wanted the smaller bun for less bread. Apparently they served him a sandwich with NO bun. His chicken sandwich was in a salad bowl!!! The manager on duty was at the counter and she was not any better rude, dismissive and hateful. I'd love to list their names but no one wore a name badge. Then the dining room was horrible.
