I ran into this Wendy's for a quick snack while I waited for someone. One of the staff was training a new employee. After many interruptions by the trainer, the trainee finally got my order correct. I ordered chicken nuggets and fries. The fries were burnt and not hot. The nuggets were OK though. The place could probably use a little bit of renovation and some cleanup. When did fast food stop being fast? 26 minute wait with no communication that it was going to take this long. I was very happy with my experience here last night. I used the drive thru to order some food for myself and my dad, and a Frosty for mom. I pulled up to the first window, paid, pulled up to the second window, got the drinks, and promptly drove home without the food. Frustrated with my stupidity, I drove back fully prepared for the drama that would surely ensue. But, there was no drama at all! This location is the absolute worst. Place a mobile order and still have to wait over 20 mins for the food. The staff is always rude, the food is hardly ever correct and the wait time is always ridiculous. They also never answer the phone so don't bother calling to pick up your mobile order in the designated spots. You're stuck in the drive thru line for something that is supposed to make the process faster. Do not bother with this location. read more

Another trip to Florence, another stop at a Wendy's along the way. This one was close enough to the highway and easily accessible. My small burger was correct and properly prepared. The restaurant was clean and the condiments station was well taken care of. The crew was good and efficient but as I was here for about 20 minutes waiting out a rainstorm, I could see that there was some horsing around when there were no other customers. This place is the reason i downloaded this app. Everything about my order was wrong, no sauce, spicy nuggets instead of regular, and my soda wasnt even filled up all the way and it was diet. I generally don't review fast food places such as McDonald's, Wendy's, Hardee's, etc, but thought I'd do it this time since we hardly ever go to Wendy's. Needed to "scarf a sky burger" quickly for lunch and was going to hit McDonald's on Clemson but the traffic was too bad getting in and out so we went on down to turn around across the interstate and decided to try Wendy's instead. I'm surprised this place is still here since it's on the south side of I-20 and all of the other places are located on the north side, but the drive-thru was empty. We both ordered a single Wendy's cheeseburger and that was it. Sat in the parking lot to eat it. My first thought was I didn't really care for it (as I'm not much of a tomato-on-my-burger guy) but after a couple of bites it actually was quite good. Had lettuce, cheese, tomato and a mayo/type sauce. My wife and I both said the same thing...first bite we didn't think we liked it but then we changed our minds. I stopped in for lunch and went drove in to the drive Thur. I ordered and when I paid, I asked for a receipt. The young lady said the printer was down. I told her I needed a receipt I claim my meals for work and she said she couldn't help. I went up to the next window and asked if they could hand write a receipt and the lady wrote down on a piece of paper in a high liter marker the price. It wasn't the correct amount. Every time I go to this Wendy's there is an issue with my order being wrong and/or the employees are just plain rude. Today in particular I ordered a 4 for 4 through the drive thru and they gave me the wrong order which was nothing close to what I ordered, long story short they replaced my order with no apology. Everything was great. Service and the food I received however I wanted a Caesar side salad and they said they were "all out for the night." I used to be close with a family who owned a few Wendy's and I know that it takes .5 seconds to make a side salad. It's lettuce, asiago cheese, and a few tomatoes. If they were out of any of those ingredients, he should've said so. But he did not. And I feel that this was pure laziness on their part considering it was an hour and a half before closing time. As someone who has worked in customer service for 8+ years, this was an error due to their convenience over their customers. This Wendy's has extremely poor customer service. I went into the building during my lunch break and asked the front cashier about the lettuce availability. The Wendy's located further down Clemson didn't have any Caesar salads due to not having any lettuce. I asked her about the lettuce and she condescendingly laughed and dismissed the question. I asked again and she rudely answered yes. After I moved up and ordered, she politely stated the total. I asked if they accepted my military discount card and she completely changed attitudes again. She began uttering and mumbling and speaking very rudely, explaining that my card means nothing to her. She was not pleasant even in the least bit.
