I used to love the chicken apple salad. Hadn't had one in a few months so got one today. Boy have things changed. It used to have a good amount of ingredients but now it's roughly half the size and price has increased. I got a few small chunks of chicken, a few pieces of apple and some of the lettuce was soggy. I asked for no blue cheese and they evidently scooped it off of a pre-made salad because there were small bits of blue cheese in it. There were parmesan cheese shavings as well...it doesn't come with parmesan. The sticker on the salad container says Parm Caesar...who knows what happened! We've eaten here several times and it's OK. PROS: Fairly well staffed, clean, and the service was pretty quick. The food is OK, not the best Wendy's I've ever had, but most of it seemed fairly fresh every time we've eaten there. Burgers, fries, sodas, and Frosties have always been good. CONS: The baked potatoes and the onions for the chili have often been not fresh. They are really stingy with the cheese and onions on the chili, so you might as well just skip that charge. Double check the order/drinks before leaving the drive-through as they've often missed part of our order. read more

These guys just can't seem to get things right. Every time I come here, I tell myself I'm not going to come back and for some reason I forget and think well I'll just try something simple, they can't screw that up. Problem is, they can. Today I ordered what I always order - what I've ordered for about 20 years - single with cheese no pickle no onion no tomato. It's an easy Montre and I can say in my sleep. I ordered my sandwich, and immediately found out that they thought no tomato meant extra tomato. I'm backed up in the line to ask him to try it again and come alone. The whole day immediately handed me a new sandwich. I should've checked it before I left the parking lot, though, because the replacement wasn't even a cheeseburger. It was simply a dry burger that I think they had on the side of the cooker for a while. They were angry because I complained about the first one, I wish they would've just said something rather than tried to get even. Once again, never again. read more

Waited 20 minutes to order in the drive through and was told if I didn't like the wait to find someplace else to eat. Worker proceeded to argue and said if I wanted to talk to a manger to get out and come inside. Very poor customer service. read more

Spent $28 on 2 combos which first of all a ridiculous price but that's how it is now a days. They gave me the WRONG order not even close to what I ordered but gave me the right drinks. I'd leave "no" stars if I could. I live in Milwaukie Or. On a weekend excursion to Coos bay for business. I love Wendy's in my town. It was late, we were tired and it was on the strip near our hotel and needed food. We ordered a couple cheese burger baskets that normally cost us about $18.00 at home. They charged us almost double that in the drive through, with no line to wait upon! We were their only customers. Unfortunately I gave him my card before I new the charges. He just asked; "debit or credit". They must be desperate because after visiting many other places in town the next day, we went home considering that place totally criminal. The food was dry and over cooked as if it were sitting under a heat lamp for an hour, including the fries. We ended up buying the property we came to visit to retire in and can guaranty, we will never go back to Wendy's in Coos Bay, ever!! As a matter of fact, after returning to Milwaukie, we refuse to visit the Wendy's here as well. That's how offended we are. My favorite burger in the hole world is a Wendy's Triple. Extremely low intelligence working here. I tried ordering something leaving out foods I'm allergic to and they kept refusing to tell me the ingredients. Instead they would say they don't offer medical advice. I wasn't asking for advice. I was asking for ingredients because I know what I'm allergic to and how to avoid it on my own. Ended up going somewhere else that left out the ingredients I asked them to leave out. read more

We used door dash for the 1st time he was great. We ordered the Big bacon classic both hamugers did not have bacon I tried calling Wendy's for 15 min NO ONE ANSWERED. This is the 3rd time we tried Wendy's & each time they never got out order right pretty sure we won't be going back. read more

Disappointing. I ordered a large chili, thinking that I would get the hearty well-spiced blend of meat and beans that I'd enjoyed before. Instead, I found a watery, unspiced almost meatless soup. Think beef broth with a few beans and tiny chunks of meat floating near the bottom of the container. The proper thing would have been for them to just say "gee, we're out of chili" but I guess the $4 they charged me was really important to their bottom line. Never again. read more

Worst Wendy's visit ever. I really like Wendy's and since I do not live near one, it's a treat to visit. Sadly, this experience was poor. Salad was stale with brown lettuce that needed picked out. Chicken sandwich was dry and tough. Seemed like one several hours old. They were out of baked potatoes and initially just ignored it when we ordered one. This could have been due to the drive through intercom which was really bad. We mentioned this and were told it barely worked because it's 40 years old. There were almost no other customers, but the 4 people crowded near the drive through window seemed frenetically busy to the point that they barely had time to speak to you. We saw 2 customers inside and were the only ones in line. Service was very fast. I assume because they just put premade stuff in bag and handed it out the window after collecting a good price for it. Pretty sure that I will never return. read more

worst service to date. completely out of soda. didn't have hot chocolate for the kids. got coffee instead, asked what size they didn't know the oz's. they gave me an extra cup full of creamer and then a handful of sugar. how am I supposed to store it when they gave me nothing to do it with. the food was cold. Not much to write other than I was excited about the food! Eugene sucks because how can they let all 5 of them shut down? The food here was fine, the service was ok but no smiles from anyone. I get it! It's fast food, but come on! You have a job, you chose to work here right? And I agree with another writer that one of the employee's came to the dining area and was loud on her phone. You could hear most of her conversation. I was here on a different night, but I am willing to bet it's probably the same person. My food was great! It was a brain freeze heaven! Kid size chocolate frosty is perfect after the strawberry fields salad! You can't tell it's a fast food salad is all I have to say! Was starving and we already knew that the McDonald's, Burger King, and Taco Bell are disgusting, so we decided to try the Wendy's. After paying $22 for two sandwiches and regular fries, we set about to discover that the fries were floppy they were so soggy, they tasted like nothing but bad fryer grease, and they were cold. My wife's burger had a hair in it, and my chicken sandwich was cold and smelled like rotting fish. To top it all off, the diet cokes were so watered down they barely tasted at all. This place will literally steal from you!!! I went to the drivethrough window and ordered one item for my son, a frosty for $2.50. I paid using my card. I was not provided a receipt when they gave me the frosty. I then left not thinking anything of it. The next day I saw on my transaction history that I was charged $30. Both my myself and my bank subsequently tried to call to have this issue fixed and neither of us were able to even make contact over the phone. I believe that was not an overcharge but an intentional theft. Be forewarned this place will is actively trying to defraud its customers. read more

I don't know why I keep giving this place another try. Just a waste of money. Ordered the Son of Baconator and the burger was the size of a slider or kids size on a regular bun. Burger was paper thin and overcooked. One slice of tasteless bacon. Small fries in a medium sized container and lukewarm. Every time I stop here very disappointed. We keep giving this place a try because we love how nice they are. My boyfriend and I get the new bourbon bacon burger and it was so good for the first two times. The third time we went to get it (which was about 4 days ago), I'm fixing the bun and notice that the bacon did not look fully cooked. So I just simply took the bacon off and everything else looked just fine until I bit into it and the meat was cold. I spit it out and made my boyfriend take it back inside so I could get a new one. They were super nice about it and gave us cookies! Two days later we come back to get some food and we get the same bourbon bacon burger and As I was eating it I was fixing the bun after a couple bites and there was a spot of mold on the inside of my bun. I gotta say, Wendy's by far has my favorite fast food burgers and fries available in town, however, I only go a few times a year because this place, consistently has the worst service in town.. I never get the correct order, missing items, completely incorrect items, takes absolutely forever for them to even take your order, nothing like waiting forever to make your order, get home ready for your burger and open a chicken sandwich... God awful, Disgusting as hell. I'm starving and decided to get some wendys, so I swing by and order a simple meal. Anyone who had half a brain could make it in under 5 minutes. After receiving my food I go home, sit on the sofa, turn on the TV to my favorite cancel (for news) then proceed to pull my food out of the bag. I was so excited, mouth watering until I laid eyes on the monstrosity in my hands. Each 4 of my nuggets were burned No carded I was furious but decided to give them a try anyways and oh buddy it was just as I thought they nuggets were absolutely disgusting. I immediately spit that shit out, it was worse then my grandmother's Castrol after beinf dropped on the floor and pissed on. Dryer then the Sonoran desert during summer. Greeted with an up beat employee asking me how I was doing was a great way to start my morning, the following did not sit as well. I requested a large side of the breakfast cheese sauce, I was met with a small one and a curly haired chubby manager who was on a power trip about how much cheese sauce they were allowed to give up. The reason I got to Wendy's is for the friendly service and understanding staff. Not for some zit faced tight assed manager to tell me I can't have more sauce. My boyfriend and I stopped at this Wendy's on our way back to Eugene.. should have gone somewhere else. Chicken nuggets were soggy, didn't give us the sauce or the fork we asked for. It's hard to lose 2 stars in one fell swoop from me, but this place has gotten hideous about shorting orders. Third time in a row they've intentionally or unintentionally messed up to-go orders. And it's ALWAYS in their favor. And... they just say, "Let us know next time you come in and we'll make it right" or "drive all the way back in and we'll give it to you". Say what??? Okay, in today's fast food order, they skipped the salad dressings, 2 mac & cheeses for the kids and two nuggets. That's not ONE mistake it's SIX in one order. Add to that, the "large" order waited on was delivered in a less than kind fashion "Are you the people with the HUGE order?" Okay... here's the deal: Arby's just went out of business. My guess is Wendy's and the other fast food joints should step up their game or they'll be close behind. Whatever else, IF you choose Wendy's for junkfood, make SURE you double check your order BEFORE you leave. You can bet money you already lost it'll be shorted. This place is not good. From undercooked fries with no salt and cold burgers to extremely slow service. The last 3 times I've gone, they gave me undercooked fries that had no salt, burgers that were cold as well as sloppily put together and an employee who had to have the order repeated THREE TIMES and even after that, the order was made incorrectly. The Coos Bay store needs a serious managerial retooling. read more

I had ordered through the mobile app and when I got there they said their mobile app machine app hadn't been working then I went inside and told them my order twice. I heard the manager say to the person manning the register "did she get a refund yet" and I never got one. Along with that I also saw 3 flys in the kitchen. They did a total remodel on this place from inside and out. It is a lot cleaner . The service has improved and so has the food.

Usually stop in when driving through Coos Bay. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is always nice and the food is always made with that extra Wendy's love. read more
